Even when I needed them to track down insurance approval, they were able to get it done immediately instead of the quoted up to 14 business days of the other clinic. When I got the approval, they offered a weekend appointment. Even though I wasn't able to take the weekend appointment, they were able to accomodate my schedule. The appointment was very well organized, and I was able to get the imaging done with very caring staff. Afterwards, I followed up via email with questions, and I received a prompt response. In today's visit I witnessed one of the younger girls working explaining to a lady, in a very rude and condescending way, that she needed to look at the text she sent, click the link, and fill out the paperwork. This lady was struggling to understand they're paperless now and it must be done online. This young worker ended the conversation, without truly evening helping this lady, by saying, and I quote, "you're going to be late to your appointment. I suggest you start filling out your paperwork. Thank you." And proceeded to comment about this lady to her coworkers the moment she turned around to sit down. I was horrified and gutted for this lady. Absolutely NOT okay. Two things that need to be addressed: Patience and kindness, or offering someone who actually will take the time, to explain the way things go. You should not work in this area if you're not going to understand the majority of your clients may need it explained differently. I understand it's eco friendly to go paperless, but this isn't okay. A lot of elderly come in and do not have phones. Legally, you cannot allow them to miss an appointment simply because YOU want their paperwork done online. Provide a tablet for them to fill out or print them out. Remember, you're the receptionist(s) - your job is to help us until we fully understand what is required of us, we're not to be disregarded the moment you believe you've said everything.

I went in to get an X-ray and the technician was friendly, helpful, and a Veteran. The quality of care seemed good and he was very empathetic to the pain I was experiencing. When the X-ray results were sent to my doctor's office the results were ready to understand. Being an informed patient I wanted a copy of the images so my doctor told me to contact Medizen to obtain them directly. I called and that's where the lack of service began. It took over 4 minutes to answer my call and I was told to come in, show my ID and they'd burn a CD for me. Instead of possibly obtaining my information first to begin the process they just brushed me off. I went in to get the CD ordered and instead of allowing me to explain why I was there, I was told to sign in. I offered that I wasn't there for imagine, but for records pull and was brushed off again and told to sign in by the heavy set Hispanic front desk assistant. The second lady that helped me was kind and efficient, but hung into my Driver's License after verifying my ID. I didn't get it back until my CD of images was ready. Overall, this could have been a 4 or 5 start experience had the first lady attended to me properly instead of brushing me off. A simple show of appreciation would have avoided this negative review. It isn't about having to sign it, it is about providing good customer service from start to finish. I get that you want to track your service count, but finish we're people too and not just a number.

Beach Imaging Center was able to accommodate with an open MRI. Max, the tech who handles the MRI machine and testing, made the experience smooth and easy. He spent the entire time sitting next to me telling stories about himself, his family, and more. It was awkward at first because I wanted to respond, but was told to relax. I spent majority of the time listening. It was comforting though. I was able to focus more on what he was saying rather than the enviroment, the machine, and flashbacks I was having. Max was super sweet! I appreciate how he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Thanks Max! This facility is very clean, front staff is friendly, appointment was easy to arrange, and prices are reasonable.
