After getting to know whats in each of the items I decided to try out the Raspberry Rebanada. I can tell you this, the pastry chef has perfected the Ultimate sweet-to-buttery ratio. This is my first in San Diego and it tastes just as good. Portuguese egg tart crusts are made out of puff pastries while Chinese egg tarts are made out of shortcrust casing like a cheesecake crust. The puff pastries makes it flaky and less doughy. The custard is also less eggy and more creamy in the Portuguese version. I also got the Macau Dolgona coffee no boba with half and half. So good! Must try. You have to really stir to mix it all. This kiosk stand is literally between Gap and Banana Republic, more so towards Gap. Make sure to eat it when it's warm and it takes like 3 bites.
