Delicious crepe cakes are their specialty and they are so good, not too sweet and with just the right amount of cream cheese. I went back to buy a whole cake for my friend's reunion and oh boy was a hit! The prices are a little on the high end but is worth it. Their service is always friendly and the decor is absolutely adorable.

    The best berry crepe cake!

Found a new dessert place in TJ! Came here last night with my husband and 2 friends. SO happy that I got some awesome dessert in me even though I lost the sense of taste due to my stuffy nose. I know it was bomb! We missed this because GPS said it was on the right when its actually on the left side. It is easily to miss if you are going there for the first time. Located next to Roma pharmacy. The parking lot is small but there is valet, just have to tip the person. Upon walk in, I love the decorations. It gives you the relaxed atmosphere to hang out with your girls or just a very nice date place. They have a small area for outdoor which is great on certain days. Just sit back with a cup of coffee and a piece of delicious cake and hangout with your loved ones. The food is good. I only tried their desserts but the brunch looks great also! The double waffle which takes about 20 minutes for it to make. So order this first if you want to try it. It has cream cheese filling inside, stacked on 2 fluffy dense waffles and topped with berries syrup. It is NOT sweet at all. If you are afraid that it might be too much, you will want to finish this plate! However, this dish is great to share with 2-4 people. Or even yourself if you don't want to share because it's literally that good! Oreo crepe cake. It kind of reminds me of Lady M bakery. (it's this very fancy and expensive cake bakery in LA) It has thousand layers of crepe with cream. However, this was pretty good and way more affordable. I wasn't sure if it was cream cheese between those nice layers of crepe. But I knew for sure that it is BOMB! Again, it is not too sweet which was great! Usually for chocolately stuff you get tired of eating after a few bites but you would want to finish this yourself too! Just take one of every piece for yourself! It's that good! I'm happy to have come across this place and will be returning to try more of their cakes.

Tiramisu was a huge disappointment. I came here w/ a friend who's a huge fan since she pretty much tried everything BUT the tiramisu (it was my 1st time there) we said let's try it it's always my go to anywhere i go. It was NOTHING like a tiramisu. No coffee flavor, was not moist at all, had a sour taste, and the only layer of cream was a thick citrus pudding. Visually it looked like a tiramisu. But once you took a spoon fool: it was the weirdest tasting tiramisu. We told the staff we didn't like it but based on his feedback and sticking to his "this is OUR recipe" he wasn't able to do anything for us and no manager was in the facility. However, we concluded they've been struggling to nail the tiramisu recipe since it's the dessert w/the most complaints. So, DONT order the tiramisu lol stick to the crepe cake. Good ambience n cute decor

We ordered crepas & leche for a little under $10. This place is really cute and pretty for photos. I ordered the Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas and it was really filling. This place is air conditioned which was really helpful since it was hot today in TJ. I would come back and try other crepes!!!

Great, cute spot for coffee and dessert! Had their Nutella crepe cake (fav), frutas rojos crepe cake (alright...too much berries as it made it sour), and crepe de azucar topped with nutella, bananas, coconut flakes & ice cream (to die for).

I love barbas coffee they have the best desserts the only downside is the waiting just know that you're gonna wait a little long before going inside. But is worth the wait. Enjoy!!!

Fist time coming here & I have to say it's delicious. The place it's beautiful! Beautiful decorations I loved it. Loved walking into this cute place full of energetic vibes. The staff is really friendly!!! We got sat right away!! There's a little spot where you can see a swing and you can take pictures there! It's full of beautiful electric words like the name of the place tijuana etc!!! It's super cool!!! The tables are so cute and comfy!!! Desserts are incredible!! So many options!!! It was hard to decide! I chose the cake crepe with Nutella. And a cookie and cream frappe. The reason why I'm giving it a 4 star is because the frape didn't taste that great. I feel they need to work more on their drinks. But besides that everything was great! Valet parking and everything. I'll absolutely come back here.

They serve up some delicious sweets. So after a meal and your sweet tooth kicks in, hit up this spot. It has a nice trendy, upscale decor so you will enjoy sitting inside. They also have some pretty good coffee. This is a must try if you are on the other side of the border.

Súper bonita decoración. Ambiente agradable y servicio bueno. La comida es buena pero es mejor conocido por sus postres.

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.

Despite the strong…read morerecommendation I received, this is simply not the place you want to choose for food. The only bright spot of the entire experience was the parking attendant, who was great and friendly upon arrival. Unfortunately, that positive impression vanished the minute we walked through the door. The host was rude and completely lacked control over the traffic walking in and out.Things only went downhill from there. Our waitress, Alaine, provided the worst service imaginable. Not once did she come over to offer refills or check in to see if we were okay. On top of that inattentive service, she managed to get our order completely wrong, forcing us to wait even longer. This was baffling, given that the restaurant was not even at capacity. When my breakfast combination rib eye finally arrived, the meat was entirely fat and clearly a poor cut. To make matters worse, my piña colada was served hot. Even after letting the staff know and asking if we could get some ice to chill it down, it still tasted awful and unappealing. It quickly became obvious that the staff was more interested in getting a slice of cake from another family hosting a party than actually doing their jobs or attending to customers. Save yourself the frustration and the bad experience, and definitely go elsewhere for your food.

It reminds me of some of the big food halls in Los Angeles (Grand Central Market, Haven City, etc.) packed with delicious food and beverage options. Just a quick Uber ride from the border and you can be munching on fresh ceviche and savoring an ice cold glass of house-made sangria. That's exactly what we ordered! I appreciated the option for indoor or outdoor seating. Since it was an extremely hot and humid day, we opted to sit inside, where the fans were a lifesaver. We ordered drinks at the bar inside and then picked up food from one of the several vendors outside. The staff was welcoming and checked on us several times, even offering our group a large table upstairs, which was a considerate touch. From coffee to pastries, sweets, snacks, wine, beer, seafood, pizza, and everything in between, Telefónica is a great way to start or end your day in TJ. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in town!

My advice, take a cheap UBER instead of driving as parking is not fast. When you arrive take a walk though quickly to get a lay of the land and see what the options are. Maybe grab a michelada on the way in since the bar is right there. I'd pick one or 2 or 3 places to try as long as what you order fits together. the last thing you'd want to eat would be a taco and a hot dog. BE MINDFUL: Realize you are in Mexico. This place wasn't really made for tourists, it's more of a local spot and it's pretty safe. That being said they don't usually care too much about dealing with complaints.
