The crepe and tea were amazing and the shaved ice portion was generous and tasted great the service was nice and the vibe was cute. The town was cute also!

I last went to Cafe Bench several years ago, and with the recent warm weather, I was interested in coming back for their bingsoo. I like the cafe for their late hours and their interiors. They decorated the place kind of like there's a tree in the middle. I had the mango bingsoo and I really like their mango flavor on the shaved ice! I also enjoyed the mangoes as well!

I loveee walking into this place every time, regardless of anything else they did nail the atmosphere as it's very cozy. But the rest is okay, the staff are fine but every time I come the food takes a while to prepare and even when it does come it's honestly a bit pricy imo based on how small the portions can be or how simple the order should be. Nonetheless, I'd say stop by at least once just for the atmosphere.

A charming little spot with a whimsical, cozy vibe that's clearly the star of the experience. The decor is delightful, full of greenery and soft lighting that makes you want to linger. We dropped in for breakfast and tried the crepes, which were fine--nothing to rave about, but nicely plated. You're mostly paying for the ambiance here. Drinks were decent; the iced coffee and Berry lemonade hit the spot. You order at the counter and seat yourself, which works well in this laid-back setting. All in all, a sweet place to relax and snap a few photos, but menu items were just OK

Go to place for dessert. They have savory and sweet items on the menu. The cafe selections are great for both hot and cold. Sweet crepes are my go to orders and can't go wrong with any of them. Shaved ices are good too! Ambiance is casual, warm and welcoming. Very cozy cafe for hangouts.

I don't usually have a sweet tooth, but I come here every so often when I'm craving a treat because the crepes are good. Interior is also super cute. We got the #14 Chip Chip and added a scoop of matcha ice cream: delicious. Devoured it way too fast

Things to know - there are like 4 parking spots in the back but usually filled. They no longer the Apple Pay or android play. Cash or card only. We tried the dolce latte and I loved it - the bear (whom looked like he was trying to get out of the cup) was made of coffee and there were coffee ice cubes along with espresso inside of condensed milk. I also tried the Almonds Nut Truffle and although I liked it and don't regret ordering it, I probably wouldn't get it again. But if you like nuts and a light ice cream touch - this would be perfect for you.

This is the prettiest cafe in Queens for desserts. Their decorations changes base on the season.

This is still one of my favorite cafes. It's really nicely decorated and so cute with the nice lighting which makes it feel so cozy. There is no table service here, you just order/pay at the counter and they give you a buzzer when you're food is ready. I got the turkey crepe which came with a side salad. I also ordered a cappuccino along with a passion fruit drink. The food was prepared quickly and was tasty. I loved my little cinnamon design on my cappuccino...so cute! One thing about this place is you must bring your tray and plates/glasses etc back to the counter and clean up your table when done. I know they don't like it if you leave everything at the table and simply leave because there is no waitstaff there. Easy enough to do and I always like to clean up after myself anyway to leave it nice for the next person.

Came here on a Thursday night to check out their crepes. The Lady Nana was so delicious! The vanilla ice cream portion was generous, with enough ice cream for each bite of banana and crepe. I'm not usually a fan of banana flavor but the combination of ice cream, banana, and crepe made for a perfect and chewy bite! Highly recommend!

Food was delicious and the coffee was great. Very accommodating by making it decaf for me. Would definitely return. My friends Lady Nana looked very appetizing as well.

Cute cafe to grab brunch and dessert. Orders are taken at the counter and you're notified when it's ready. Plenty of nice sized tables which were not overly crowded together. Enjoyed my ice cappuccino and grilled chicken crepe. It got surprisingly busy for a weekday afternoon.

This is a cute spot to hangout with friends and take lot of nice pics. With regards to the food, it's decent and they have a good dessert selection - they're known for their crepes. I had brunch here and it was a really nice spot to chat and chill. It's a bit busy and bustling and is a fairly popular spot. You place your order directly at the counter and pick up when the order is ready for your table. I had the Teriken crepe, which was savory with chicken and teriyaki sauce, and the Amaretto Nut Truffle. I also had the Blueberry Lavenderade to drink. Overall, the food was good. The crepe was savory and I loved my Amaretto Nut Truffle!! The drink wasn't too bad and was definitely on the tart side, which I liked as well. Overall, this is a great spot for a relaxed time and great pics!

The lady who I assume is the boss said she had held a pop-up shop about two years prior which blew up, hence what we see here. The selection here was deceptively small compared to chain bakeries, but it didn't take us long recognise how much power the smaller selection packs and, actually, how the selection really is not small at all. The matcha red bean loaf grabbed my attention straight away and didn't disappoint, but their red bean bun was just as impressive, as it's a more bread-y counterpart to the fluffy versions other bakeries typically have. The onioissant is definitely experimental and worked better on the chive bacon cream cheese one than on the pollack roe, which was a bit too much on the salty and fishy side for my liking. Their chocolate horn is at least twice as big as a typical one you'll find at other bakeries and has a rich dark chocolate filling which was a pleasant surprise. Their coffee brioche pastry was another hit, thanks to the strong coffee filling and delicate layers of pastry. There's ample tables and chairs, beverage menu, and I'm sure we'd come hang if we lived closer. I can't wait to go back.

While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). We came with a fairly large group and ordered several teas and snacks to share amongst us. There were several options for the flavors of tea and each one had different benefits as well. I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm!
