    Latte and almond croissant

The owner is really nice! You walk in and immediately get carried away by the amazing smell of coffee. I got a latte and a croissant. Good pastries but don't expect something that tastes like it was made morning of.

Always enjoy having a cup of great Barrington coffee and sharing conversations with Jeb, the owner. Although small, the space is comfortable and welcoming.

I have been living in Jamaica Plain for twenty years and this place is a godsend! The coffee and tea are awesome, but it's the environment that sets Cafe Siete apart. People from all walks of life in our community, students, artists, academics, construction workers etc all come in. Sometimes it's really quiet, sometimes eveyone is talking and laughing, sometimes there is a line, sometimes I'm the only one there, but somehow it just always morphs into whatever it needs to be, which is kind of remarkable given that most small spaces are not that versatile. The owner Jeb an awesome guy, he's passionate about being a barista but has had so many different work and living experiences all over the would that he can relate and talk to anyone. He knows the community well since he used to co-own the flower shop around the corner. The employees Tommy and Peri are amazing. They both are pursuing artistic careers but they are as dedicated to the business as if they were co-owners and great to talk with. I'm prob better friends with l than people I have known at other JP businesses for ten times as long. I am trying to cut down on my drinking and I feel so at home at Cafe Siete that I go there and have a couple lattes rather then to the local watering holes now a lot of the time so it's been very helpful beyond the great coffee and company! While it's true people live in JP because there is so much community, there was still obviously a void that is being fulfilled by Jeb and his team.

My boyfriend wanted to try the cold brew but they ran out since it was an unseasonably warm that day.

The complex that Ula is in is super cute, there is typically plenty of parking. It's also right on the orange line, so there is easy access. Ample indoor and outdoor seating made getting a table a breeze. We ordered an iced coffee, iced latte, vegan burrito, and an Amort St sandwich. The Amory was really yummy, my partner enjoyed it. The coffees were pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing to write home about. The flavor in the latte was pretty weak. I added caramel to it as well, but it just tasted like milk; it's nice if the espresso taste or caramel flavor shines through, but it didn't deliver here. Fiore's and Third Cliff are still my go-to's for a good latte. While we waited for the burrito to come out, the chef came and told us he didn't have the necessary ingredients. He offered great replacements and made recommendations. He was super kind and honestly made our experience much better. Give that person a raise! Overall, good experience! Food was really good. Ambience and service were good. Coffee not great. Definitely worth a stop-in!

I got a coffee and this berry hibiscus scone which was fabulous--soft, fluffy, and not too dry on the inside. I loved the glaze on top. Great working environment--lots of people there with laptops and it had a focused environment. The staff were also so kind and welcoming!

Well, i haven't been back to those other stores for much of anything since xD The prices are higher than you can see at a box store, but really **not significantly** if you are usually shopping organic / small batch / local products, and their selection in that regard is pretty stellar. It reminds me of what WF used to be back in the day, just much, much smaller. I have bought so many things there I never would have found elsewhere that have become staples. Pita bread, ice cream, breakfast meats, teas, chocolate, milk (of course), (surprisingly) great canned foods, marshmallows, niche snacks, APPLES, fair trade bananas that are the best I've had. The list goes on and on. Clearly they aren't impacted by the deli related reviews, and I'm so glad for it. I hope they keep on doing their thing forever.

I grabbed an iced latte here today and the barista did a good job with it, the flavor was well-balanced. I also got an egg, bacon, and cheese bagel which took a bit but turned out to be a great snack. The ambiance is pretty relaxed, there are bar seats looking out onto the streets. Would recommend a stop in if you're in downtown JP!
