Consequently, when it is time to pay for the meal, the servers assume that those customers automatically want to pay in their home country's currency. On the night we ate there, the server took our credit card and immediately charged our card in U.S. dollars, without even asking if we were from the U.S. This act enabled Cacciatori to make more money off the exchange rate. We would have absolutely preferred to pay in euros. A credible establishment should ask the customers whether they wish to pay in euros. Giving the consumer the option of what currency to use is the standard procedure throughout Europe. It is sad that Cacciatori did not follow this practice with us.

Both had extremely fresh homemade ingredients and were out of this world and extreme attention to care in the preparation.
