Seafood spaghetti was one of my favorite! It tasted very good, the taste was so balanced. The tomato pasta was delicious. The seafood mix for main entree was amazing, except the tuna. The main big fish was grilled both side to perfection. Shrimps were very fresh along with the squid. Overall experience was excellent! Would definitely come back again.

Wonderful food, service, and ambiance! We had tasty appetizers, delicious pasta dishes, great wine, & the staff treated us to Limoncello at the end of our meal. We really enjoyed our time at Da Cherubino's.

So I just loved this place!! Very local! I thought from the moment I stepped in the welcome, the service, the food, incredible! I ordered caprese for the table and grilled scallops. Both were excellent!! I went traditional, lasagne. Others enjoyed spaghetti mamma Mia (meat balls). The wine was local Venetian and also excellent! Wonderful dinner and experience! Grazie mille!!!

Great food. Great prices. Great service, unlike the snooty, expensive but more famous Da Ito nearby. Best spaghetti and clam dish I had in Italy by far. And a heavenly tiramisu to top it all off. Highly recommended.

We walked by this place and checked out the menu. I noticed they state they don't charge a "service charge" or "cover charge" like many of the tourists traps in Venice! We ordered the Sea Bass and the Bolognese. Everything tasted fresh and not overly saucy. Chocolate cake was a bit dry but the raspberry sauce helped. Service could have been better.

Venice is absolutely filled with a ton of tourist traps. So finding a diamond in the rough that is priced reasonably with good food and good service is wonderful. Da Cherubino was a small restaurant with a traditional Italian menu. The interior was a bit dated but cute and clean and the food was tasty and served quickly. It's a bit hard to find so allow time and we also noticed that they take their lunch/dinner time gap seriously with parties being turned away - so take that into consideration with planning.

Forgot to check in when I came here but would love to share a quick review in regards to the place! Amazing service, very elegant atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Got a pasta a la carbonara which is always superb no matter where you go get it. Will love to visit this place again when I go to Venice once more.

    Spaghetti with clams.... So amazing

Had such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the spaghetti with clams, it was absolutely delicious!

Sort of our last choice for a meal for two under 100 euro. We were before 7pm so we were seated quickly in the "extra" table at the front. Fine by me. One beer to choose from. Water in a bottle only but it was a big bottle. Bread with olive oil and Parmesan was nice and plenty of it. Pasta with tomato and mozzarella ended up being chef-boy-r-dee sauce with giant tubes of past and chunks of mozzarella (15 euro). Ok except for the CBRD sauce. The linguine with crab had tiny tomatoes in it (like I expected in the other dish) and a crab had walked by it at some point (15 euro). I'd say less than stellar but that's what you get when you try to get dinner "cheap". Total tab - two dishes, two beers, one salad and 1 water with ice: $58.00

    The final touch!

Just celebrated my 75th birthday at Da Cherubino. Perfetto falls short of describing the experience. I had the vegetable soup and Spaghetti Mama Mia. They were both delicious and was rendered speechless by the first and second birthday cakes. The second included staff rendition of Happy Birthday with a flaming sparkler. The overall effect was overwhelming, and I can't imagine anything better. Grazie mille to Da Cherubino. To top it off, it was a one minute walk from our hotel, Hotel Al Codega.

Best meal and service I've had during my 1 week in Italy... Between Rome and Venice. Nicola was my waiter and he made me feel right at home... Great with suggestions and checked on me regularly. I got the house wine and tortellini and both were excellent. I'm going to go back before I leave

Amazing service in Europe (coming from an American) and amazing food! Shoutout to Georgio and Galia. Can't go wrong with this place.

Enjoyed the ambience. Attentive service and the food was very good. Our very first meal in Venice did not disappoint.

Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in Venice but this unassuming restaurant is a true gem…read more It's easy to miss as it's tucked in a corner right by a bridge. Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

I am so sad to give this restaurant such a poor rating after visiting many times during the last 20…read moreyears and loving it before. The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
