Amazing! We stopped on the way down to marathon. We LOVED the pulled pork, Cuban, & fish sandwiches we ordered. The vegetarian of the group even ate some bites of both sandwiches they were so good. Fast, hot, delicious. The tiny crunchy fries were so great, too! Highly recommend!

This is great place to stop for un batido de mamey! (Fruit shake) It was delicious. A super friendly lady took my order and made it. They have a clean and relaxing area to sit and enjoy it.

Awesome Cuban comfort foods outside of Miami! Super relaxing atmosphere with friendly customer service. Great place for a cafecito break! You can't go wrong with their pan con bistec, beef empanadas, papa relleno, tamales, mango smoothie and their limonada

I walked in and was greeted warmly, and within minutes I was reminded why I remembered this place so well. It's authentic. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just good Cuban food. Since breakfast is clearly one of their superpowers, I went with the breakfast burrito loaded with eggs, cheese and potatoes. Wow. "Delicious" doesn't really do it justice. The eggs were perfectly seasoned, the potatoes had that beautiful crispness, and then they brought out their jalapeño hot sauce. I put some on the burrito and immediately asked, "Do you bottle this?" Yeah. It was that good. We also had the steak and eggs, and they nailed that too. Perfectly runny eggs next to a juicy, flavorful flank steak. Exactly what breakfast is supposed to be. A year later, the verdict hasn't changed. Yeah, this is the real deal. I still maintain that Denny's Latin Cafe serves the best Cuban food north of Havana. Five stars. And if somebody knows where I can get a bottle of that jalapeño sauce, we need to talk.

It's become one of our annual traditions. The restaurant is a great size with plenty of seating. You can grab a seat at the bar if you want to enjoy breakfast there, or choose from one of the many tables throughout the restaurant. During our three mornings in the Keys, we never actually sat down to eat. Instead, we stopped in each morning for a café con leche and a few pastries to take back to the villa where we were staying. Everything was fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. The service is always friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it's one of those places we genuinely look forward to visiting every year. If you're looking for a great breakfast stop in the Keys, this place is definitely worth the extra drive.

They offered great recommendations, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The restaurant sits right on the water, creating a fun, laid-back atmosphere. In fact, if a boat goes by a little too fast, don't be surprised if you get a little splash--it just adds to the waterfront charm! I ordered the Ropa Vieja, and it was fantastic and a large portion. It was very flavorful, and tender. Overall, this was a great experience If you're looking for a cute spot for lunch or a casual dinner on the water with friendly service and delicious food, Restaurant on the Creek is definitely worth a visit.

We've tried quite a few dishes over the years, and my favorites are the loaded chicken wrap and the Cuban cheesesteak. Whatever you order, don't skip the fried plantains--they're the perfect side. I have tried the skirt steak before, and it just wasn't my favorite, but everything else we've ordered has been consistently good. You can choose to sit inside in the air conditioning or outside at one of the covered picnic tables. Since you're right on the dock, it's a great place to relax, watch the boats come and go, and enjoy the Keys atmosphere. Good food, convenient fuel for the boat, and a waterfront location make this an annual stop for us every lobster season.

We were seated immediately, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a beautiful channel with boats constantly coming and going. The sampler comes with two conch fritters, two coconut shrimp, two bacon wrapped items (which we replaced), cracked conch, and lobster and conch ceviche. I have to say this while it's fresh in my mind. The moment I had the lobster and shrimp ceviche, I got chills. Just an incredible burst of flavor. Tiny bit of heat at the end but nothing overwhelming. Just really, really good. The conch fritters are solid too. Chewy, not over breaded, and served with two sauces. One is sweet and one is more of a mayo style. There's also something that eats like a conch curry puff situation. I liked the cracked conch better personally, but both are worth trying. The coconut shrimp is also really good. The sampler also comes with tortilla chips on the side. The lobster bisque is delicious. Great flavor with little chunks of what I'm pretty sure is lobster throughout. Nothing more to add really. It's just good. The mahi and avocado dish has a nice seared taste to it. Not flame broiled exactly, but that kind of grilled sear that you want on fish. The pico de gallo is similar to what came with the ceviche, and it works really well here. All in at $75.

Daya's was a nice start to trying my first Cuban sandwich! FOOD: 7/10 Their Cuban sandwiches were H U G E and served piping hot. It was definitely very meaty and hearty. Our Cuban sandwich also came with a side of fries. We also tried their tamales, and those were pretty solid as well, especially when dipped in the sauce they had on the side. For drinks, my partner had the pineapple juice, and I had the guava juice. Both were very sweet for our liking, so we ended up watering them down a bit. SERVICE: 9/10 Nicest and chillest staff. They were very attentive, and I thought it was adorable hearing the side conversations they were having with one another. They were talking loudly enough for everyone to hear, but honestly, I thought it added character and made the place feel more real and lived-in. AMBIANCE: 7/10 Spacious space with multiple seating areas. Somehow, it had more of a simple cafe vibe, which I thought was interesting considering the name of the place and what they serve. Daya's Cafe was a nice start to my Cuban sandwich journey, but I'm sure there are plenty of other places out there that offer great experiences as well.
