Had an enjoyable meal here with a view of the pantheon. Unfortunately they really encourage people to sit outside, even at night. And I usually want to sit inside to avoid all the smoke, but at this place they left the door open so that you would not have the benefit of heaters and still the smoke drafting into the restaurant. The food was straightforward and good. I had minestrone soup, and ravioli which came with 4 giant raviolis with sage butter. (Quite tasty). Sangria was good here. Staff very nice. Just wish the smokers had to be encased in a bubble of their own smoke. I liked the food but left with a headache due to the smoke.

Great service, they speak really good English here which helps a lot, they're very nice people and try hard to make you a happy customer but are very busy for how much staffing they have. Great service, massive pizzas, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, just an excellent overall experience here.

Honestly , I was a little hesitant to eat here ..I am not. Accustom to eating at places that reel you in. Man, was I wrong. The food is excellent ! The service is fantastic . Actually, the service is genuine. You can see the smiles on the teams face. It is real. I noticed a couple of entitled tourist that got the look. These guys are legit. I came in last night I had the carpaccio and the fresh lobster .. They were so accommodation to make me an America martini ! Everything , was so amazing I am back the next night . Another martini . The carpaccio again! Now , I am waiting on the spaghetti with pesto. These guys really know how to make you feel like family. Typically tips are included not here. The prices are fair. Make sure you tip for their great service !

You cannot beat the amazing view of the Pantheon from this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the spaghetti a la bolognese was pretty darn good . My fave was their home made French fries; A little taste of home while on vacation.

This place is conveniently located in front of the Pantheon. And by that I mean your table is literally in the same plaza as the Pantheon and you have a front row view of the masterpiece and all the street performers. I was relieved to know that this restaurant had a server that knew English very well. He was very conversational and gave us great service, which was uncommon in Rome. My husband and I stopped in for wine and appetizers. The house wine was great and complimented our view! I ordered their french fries, which was a good snack item. We ordered the bruschetta that wasn't my favorite but had tasty tomatoes. I'd recommend this place to sit, eat, and enjoy the view!

5 stars for the view !!! Its absolutely amazing . But the two stars is for the actual food . Sub par in taste , this was my least favorite meal while in Rome . We did breakfast and while i wasn't expecting something mind blowing, i just wanted food that would at least keep my attention. If you would like to enjoy the view then i suggest maybe just grabbing a drink or maybe going at dinner. From the reviews it looks like they are slightly more successful at that time. The extra star is for the staff they were very friendly and attentive!

Delicious food! The "Claudia's Breakfast" was wonderful. The cafe freddo and mist machine perfectly refreshing on a hot day of sightseeing. And you just can't beat the location! My kids swear by the croissants. Mike, our server, was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!

    Sea Bream and Pasta Amatriciana

We've had mediocre meals before so that we could have amazing views, but no need for such a compromise here. We are seated directly in front of the Pantheon on a clear, full moonlit night enjoying a terrific meal. The maitre d' tries to corral us in, as they all do in the center of Rome, but lets us go when we say we need a moment, definitely not as they all do. When we return he smiles and hugs us warmly, not creepily (yay!), and seats us. Sea bream with oven baked potatoes is served whole with rosemary, olives and tomatoes. Its flavorful, flakey and delicious, with the rosemary seeping through. The potatoes are an unexpected surprise as they are very thinly sliced in a gratin style. The pasta amatriciana is very, very good, needing no cheese, salt, or pepper. Two waiters served us, the first was typically indifferent but the second, from Morroco, was very warm and conversational. Highly recommend the location and this restaurant is among the better choices in Piazza della Rotunda.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

Already depressed knowing we were returning to the cold and fearful Minneapolis, we spent the day packing and wandering Prati. After drowning our sorrows at a few cocktail emporiums in the early evening, we walked into Su e Giu without a reservation close to 9:30. The two guys working the front showed us to a table, and we proceeded to have a perfect last night meal. Our appetizers and pastas were great, service was friendly, and I spent time reflecting on how wonderful Rome is, rather than thinking about our return to the fractured States. Su e Giu Cucina Romana is the perfect Roman restaurant to feel La Dolce Vita. It is a sweet life indeed.

I had possibly the most amazing chick food pasta a girl could imagine. Girls know what girl food is. The pasta in Italy is just better -obviously. But then put all sorts of girl flavors on it like Lemon and Orange, just lightly enough, zest with a small hint of cheese-..... omgosh. Yes, yes, and yes. Need my hubs to replicate at home. He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. This is the place. There are possibly 4 tables inside. It's small. I read about them being rude- we did not have that problem. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.
