I guess the only safe option is the tea which is nothing special and no matter the type it is always served at the same temperature. Some ordered breakfast to be eaten right away, and then a sandwich as takeout, presumably for lunch. The posters of winners and losers for competitive eating -- the Mega Breakfast, and Burger Challenge -- were entertaining. They also reflect the good humour of the staff, continuously circling amongst the mostly quiet customers. I was staying at the Acacia Villas across the street, and stopped by on a few mornings on the way to the university. What I love here is the good old fashioned 'greasy spoon' workers cafe atmosphere (not that it's greasy but you get my point). Drive past on a weekday morning and you will spot a sprawl of illegally parked work vans surrounding the small hut-like cafe. The service is friendly, the tables are clean and the food is delicious. There is a lot on the menu to choose from but I've honestly never given it a second look the only thing I ever go for is the biggest cooked breakfast on offer. Definitely worth a visit no matter what your walk of life also a good place to stop in for a cuppa!
