This restaurant is located in an unassuming stripmall. There is plenty of parking available. I didn't go in with any real expectations. We had 9 total people, so I wasn't sure if they'd be able to accommodate all of us. When we walked in you're greeted by a small counter where the staff is working quickly on orders and to-go orders. There are high top tables with seating and then lots of arcade games. The kids absolutely loved all the arcade games! I took a look at the menu and I opted to get a smash burger and fries. My husband got a smash burger and chili fries, and my kiddo got a smash burger and fries. You order at a kiosk, and then they call your order at the counter and you grab it. Everything came out hot. I was eager to dig into my burger and it was delicious! Not too big, not too small. The burger was flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy, with just enough salt. This place is a real gem. It's no frills, but great for kids and adults who love arcade games and burgers. Def recommend!

It's located in a shopping mall, the place is very small but offers seating. They have a few old fashioned video games in the dining area, which I thought was pretty cool. The ladies behind the counter were very nice and friendly despite being busy. There was a steady stream of customers coming in, mostly for take out. We split the chicken burrito and the truffle fries, which I'm glad we did because there is no way we could have eaten the whole thing. Portions are big! The burrito was covered in cheese, which gave it a nice crispy crunch on one side. Food was good, greasy as expected and giving a little food truck vibes. Their garlic cilantro sauce is fire! All in all, the place was pretty good.

I don't like honey mustard so I went with the cheesesteak and onions. These sandwiches are very pricey I would say but the staff was friendly and I love to see a small restaurant be successful. There are some benches outside for you to eat and I def recommend you try to eat it immediately because the bread gets soggy fast.

This place is an absolute staple and a true hidden gem for anyone who loves a good sub. It's dangerous that it's so close to home ! What sets Hungry Bear apart is the fact that they pack their subs not just with generous amounts of meat, but with serious flavor too. Every bite hits, and it's obvious they season their ingredients with intention. Whether you go for the classic Philly or my go to, the Honey Mustard Chicken, you're getting a sandwich that's loaded and satisfying. Recently, I tried their new BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch sub and... wow. It was everything you'd want in a messy, flavor packed sandwich. Smoky, tangy, crispy, melty and just perfection in a sub roll. Speaking of rolls, the bread here deserves a whole paragraph of its own. It's always soft, fresh, and just the right texture. It holds up without being too chewy or too dry, and honestly, it makes the whole experience next level. This is a takeout spot, and trust me, it's always packed. That's how you know it's legit. While there's no indoor seating they did recently add two picnic tables outside. If the weather's nice, that's your spot. If you haven't been to Hungry Bear yet, you must go. If you've already been you must go again. Some places come and go, but Hungry Bear is the kind of classic that sticks around for a reason.
