    Anticuchos
    Fabrizio M.

I come to Kendall all the time and I never knew such a hidden gem existed! The service is great, the food was unbelievable. I did not think I could get some delicious anticuchos (juicy, tender) that would remind me of home along with a unique salchipapa style (criollo that had the most tender pork bites I've ever had. This also had yellow potato fries, delicious!!). The location has a small fridge with a ton of sauces to grab as you please. Location is open with standard chairs and tables, parking is easy as well (if it's not full) I def recommend this spot for someone who is looking for delicious Peruvian food!

My father in law discovered this food truck that specializes in Peruvian street food. You can find them parked every night at a church off Kendall drive and 137 avenue. We ordered cow heart kabob ( anticuchos) with grilled beef tripe (Rachi) with a golden potato. For the kids we ordered slice hot dogs with French fries called Salchipapas. This is one of favorite food spots right now, the meats were super juicy and bursting with flavor. My only complaint is that they are only opened after 7pm, but it is so worth it.

I know it's name sandwich shop but boy do you have to try their Lomo Salteado. You won't try anything like it. Always my late night repeat. I would also suggest the arroz en leche con mora. Enjoy!

Peruvian food cooked by a Peruvian Chef! The portions are huge and the cooking is delicious!

I've been dying to try this food truck after reading all the reviews since I love Peruvian food and often am a late night eater! Finally, got boyfriend and I over there to try their food after a good friend raved about his ubereats orders from them. They offer easy parking and tables with seating in front of their food truck so you can dine or wait for your food which is perfect since you can truly eat a full restaurant-quality Peruvian meal here. Their menu is pretty extensive and offers all the Peruvian classics at reasonable prices considering how large the portions are. We were hungry and definitely over ordered but decided to try both flavors of their empanadas, the anticucho, and the lomo saltado sandwich which costs us about $30 with leftovers for another meal to take home. The food did take some time to make and we did end up waiting a good amount but that's since they cook to order and had many (what I assumed was) online/to-go orders so maybe call in prior if you're not one to wait. The empanadas came out last but were piping hot and DELICIOUS----seriously, some of the most unique empanadas I have ever tried and I'm a food blogger that just spent a month eating empanadas. The corn and cheese empanada combined Peruvian corn and a freshly made cheese sauce similar to gooey mac and cheese. The Aji de Gallina empanada was on point in flavor and a little meal within itself with big chunks of potato in it. The anticucho was my favorite and was served with potato and corn----easily a whole meal itself rather than an appetizer. The portions of the meat were massive, tender, and had just the right smoky flavor. I would highly recommend it! The Lomo Saltado sandwich was just as delicious with large tender chunks of beef but fell apart when you poured the au ju sauce on it. They also offer a wide variety of house made sauces-----the olive one was delicious! All in all I will most definitely be back here to try more as I've heard the ceviche here is better than most restaurants. I've also been recommended this place by local Peruvians so the food is definitely authentic! IG:@KFitzEats

Me and my girlfriend haven't eaten here in some time and it's been a consistently good experience. But one night we decided to go and the same lady who's always attended us charged us for the wrong customer and didn't understand I asked for two chicken sandwiches instead of one so we waited for them to make another. When we got home we found a small roach in the fries of one of them. It's such good food and the prices aren't the worst but I'm very disappointed and might not go back for some time.

Found this food truck by accident and Im glad I did. I tried the Lomo Sandwich and it was fire!! I almost went back for seconds, it was so good. Definitely going back next week to try a different dish. As a Peruvian, I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I was looking for a spot that had some fresh ceviche but without the big price and noticed that a new food truck was in my neighborhood. I was even more excited to find out it was peruvian!! I decided to order their ceviche which was $11. What i loved about the ceviche was that they had the spicy sauce on the side instead of it mixed in, it completely blessed my soul. My son is a little picky and ended up with there shredded chicken sandwich that was mixed with there special sauce and some pik-nik chips to give it a crunch. He was satisfied and completely full. My fat girl spirit called and said to take a bite lol. I swear if i wasn't trying to keep my weight in check i would have ordered one for myself. I also ordered there lomo saltado sandwich which my bf loved. I'm so excited that they are so close to my home with great prices. Definitely will come back and check out other things on the menu.

It was tart with a slight heat from the chili, with cilantro, thinly sliced red onion, sweet potato, and giant corn - nicely salty. The fish was fresh, and was nicely marinated. The Causa Ganadora was very good - cold mashed potato with Peruvian red pepper, oil, and lime, serviced with panko shrimp with a maracuya sauce. The panko shirmp was lightly crisp. The Lomo Saltado was good, too. The meat was tender, the fries were good, onions, and tomatoes with a side of rice. The Parihuela Acevichada was very tasty, served hot, with corvina, shrimp, squid, and musssels. To drink, I tried the Chicha Morada, with purple corn, pineapple, clove, and cinnamon was good. My server was friendly. It's a small place, with a small bar.
