The cappuccino was smooth and rich with just the right amount of foam, while the sandwich was hearty and delicious -- simple but satisfying, with that nutty Danish dark bread that makes all the difference. What stood out most was the atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and it feels more like visiting a local friend's kitchen than a café. Prices are fair for the city, and you can take your time without feeling rushed. If you're looking for a spot that feels authentic and relaxed rather than polished or touristy, this is it. Highly recommended for a laid-back breakfast or coffee break.

We went into the first entrance we saw, which led us into a small basement space with a counter to order drinks, and a little back room with more games. To me, it was a pretty typical gaming cafe - nothing remarkable. We played some card games for a bit, sipped our tea, and then we headed upstairs to leave... but THEN, we realized the actual MAIN section of the cafe was upstairs, and it was huge. There were several copies of each game neatly stacked, and went on forever. Every game you could think of seemed to be on the shelved. They had cute merchandise, too. We were both bummed we didn't realize it before, but I bookmarked this place so that I can return next time I am in Copenhagen. If you love gaming, this place is a must.

All their coffee (seriously - all of it!) is only 15kr, which blows my mind. I'm not sure how they manage to make enough money on coffee this way, but I'm glad they do! I've been here twice now and both times my coffee was great. So far I've had an Americano and a latte. The serve a few food items which are also 15kr, but I haven't tried any of them so can't comment on how good they were. The concept itself lures customers and that's why it's always very crowded, because even my cortado is weak and my friend's cappuccino is watery, we can't really complain because it's only 12 kr. Service was prompt although somewhat indifferent. What's nice about Kaffix apart from the concept is obviously the location. Just few stone's throw away from the lake, it's nice to drop by here to get coffee (and perhaps sandwich?) to enjoy while admiring the views of the lakes? Then again, it's really your choice whether you want to spend 12 kr on a meh coffee or 40 something kroner for a coffee collective labelled cuppa joe? Some people might say that some coffee is worth your money, but I know students will be so happy of this place.
