Latte & Cappuccino
Nikki C.

Stopped by to get a pick me up and decided on an oat latte & cappucino. Beautifully done latte art, wonderful vibes and warm hospitality. Probably the best coffee I had in Europe.

Service was spot on, cappuccino and pastry (suggested by the barista because it is unique to them) was simply divine!

Enjoyed the mood, the amazing indoor atrium space, and the coffees. Relatively fast and efficient service. If you can't get to the outskirts to sample Prolog or Roast, you must try Coffee Collective. Isn't much more to say than that.

Wow! I had heard that Coffee Collective was a must stop in Copenhagen, but I don't think I knew quite how good it would be. It definitely deserves a top 10 spot on any Europe list, and definitely a top 2 spot in Copenhagen. The filter kaffe was great, and we went back multiple times. It was consistently so good! The croissant was delicious, but the coffee was the main stay of the show each time I was there. Our baristas were great and helped us make good decisions. They worked super fast for the volume of customers! The ambience is incredible. The "outside" hallway is adorable, and the inside has plenty of seating.

Wonderful coffee here, cute little shop. Espresso was delicious, not bitter at all. Cute seating in a shared space behind the shop, free wifi

I found this place on a list of best coffee bars in Copenhagen and had to stop by while I was visiting a friend for a few days. This place definitely doesn't disappoint! The staff was friendly and helpful, guiding me through what drinks they'd recommend. While I was waiting, I got a chance to sit down at one of the tables and take in the shop's sleek modernist design that felt classy yet cozy. Once my coffee was ready, I quickly sat back down and enjoyed my cappuccino while watching people passing by on their commutes along Bernikow shopping street from inside. While I loved the coffee and the price was manageable for a sit down experience (comparable to SF third wave coffee shops), the take home bags were a bit pricey, starting at $16 USD for a little shy of 9oz of roasted coffee when I visited in September for their single origin and coffee blends. It's not to say it wasn't worth it, but it was a bit steep for me. When I go back, I'll be sure to buy some to bring back home. Ambiance - epitome of Scandinavian "hyggelige" coffee shop design, playing lofi music to lull patrons into a sense of peace while enjoying their perfectly roasted coffee. And what's more, they have a gorgeous courtyard with some picnic tables connected to the café to enjoy a picturesque afternoon coffee.

Barista here is super friendly! Danish people don't usually use yelp but if any travelers wanted to check this place out- the barista will make coffee order even not on the default menu! Just don't ask for iced coffee anywhere please

Sweet little coffee shop along the Jægersborggade shopping street. Relaxing and quiet ambiance, a nice place to settle down to get some work done, journal, or read a book. I ordered a regular latte.

Excellent cappuccino, I can see why this place is rated so well! I decided to get mine with oat milk and I think it is almost as good as with regular milk.

Consistently perfect coffee, served quickly and professionally. Any location of this small chain is a must visit when you're in Copenhagen.

This was actually the first place (besides my hotel) I stopped after landing in Copenhagen and I don't regret that!

The cappuccino was smooth and rich with just the right amount of foam, while the sandwich was hearty and delicious -- simple but satisfying, with that nutty Danish dark bread that makes all the difference. What stood out most was the atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and it feels more like visiting a local friend's kitchen than a café. Prices are fair for the city, and you can take your time without feeling rushed. If you're looking for a spot that feels authentic and relaxed rather than polished or touristy, this is it. Highly recommended for a laid-back breakfast or coffee break.

I will be back a few more times before returning home to San Francisco. TUSIND TAK, Next Door Café!

They are everywhere! There is even a "Game Guru", seated somewhere in the center of the cafe. You can ask him/her any game-related questions. They can recommend the perfect game for you to play and they even instruct you on how to play. There is a QR code at each table you can use to order drinks/foods. They will bring it to the table. They serve coffee, beer, wine, cocktails. They also serve some light bites such as nachos and nuggets. 5 stars - Nice ambiance. We went into the first entrance we saw, which led us into a small basement space with a counter to order drinks, and a little back room with more games. To me, it was a pretty typical gaming cafe - nothing remarkable. We played some card games for a bit, sipped our tea, and then we headed upstairs to leave... but THEN, we realized the actual MAIN section of the cafe was upstairs, and it was huge. There were several copies of each game neatly stacked, and went on forever. Every game you could think of seemed to be on the shelved. They had cute merchandise, too. We were both bummed we didn't realize it before, but I bookmarked this place so that I can return next time I am in Copenhagen. If you love gaming, this place is a must.

It had delicious food, strong coffee and fresh fruit juices that are a must-try. I visited 012 on a Monday morning and even on a weekday, the place was super busy. I was able to be seated at the bar around 9am, but there was a line outside the door the entire time I was there and when I left. Not sure if you can make a reservation ahead of time, but it seems that many groups go here for brunch. The menu is straightforward with a lot of tempting, classic breakfast dishes that are elevated. In addition to drip coffee and a ginger, carrot juice, I ordered the breakfast plate, which had a little bit of everything. The plate had scrambled eggs, bacon, rye bread, whipped feta, avocado, sourdough and a chia seed pudding. It seemed to be the most popular item of the restaurant, and after having it myself, I understand why. It was a well-balanced, wholesome, delicious meal that was fresh and perfectly prepared. Yum! I also really enjoyed the fresh ginger and carrot juice that they make when you order it with the presser at the bar. I'm glad I was able to check out this bustling and popular spot for the most important meal of the day. Because of how busy the restaurant is, be prepared for a queue, but the staff are friendly and the food and drinks are worth the wait.

AVOCADO SMASH... a tad salty with too much feta cheese. Wasn't a fan that it was cold but I know not much could have been done. Loved the micro greens. Loved the pumpkin seeds. Tomatoes didn't really add anything. Could have used black pepper. Very mundane in taste. PANCAKES WITH FRESH BERRIES AND VANILLA CREAM...pancakes are not fluffy or thick but it is tasty! Definitely hit the spot. Loved the variety of fruits provided! Definitely a surprise. CAPP... I love how it wasn't just all foam. There actually wasn't any foam. This was the first and only Capp I had in Copenhagen so I wonder if it's a Copenhagen thing. The coffee was very concentrated throughout. The coffee was lukewarm. A small danish cookie provided. Loved all the varied "latte art". SERVICE: Kind. Attentive. Understands simple English but once the questions deviates towards something other than food or coffee... communication is rough. For example, I asked if there are any must sees or must dos but this simply could not be understood or responded to (because the wait staff was kind enough to initiate a conversation of whether it's our first day in Copenhagen). Ordered taken by staff via tablet. VIBEZ: Lots of laptops going at full steam with folks working. Mixture of locals and tourists (there were luggage's and bags in a provided corner). Loved being in the "green" with the same plant surrounding the room near the ceiling. There are outlets for charging. Small kitchen but definitely lots of folks coming in and out. Located in the city. 13 minute walk to the metro. I didn't have a car so I can't rightfully speak about parking. Would I come back? Yes!
