Such a cute atmosphere full of lush greenery. If you can get a seat outside I totally recommend, also lots of people had their dogs with them!They have both a Spanish and English menu. The guava pastry is as hype as all the reviews and I loved the chia pudding, so light and refreshing! Service was attentive at first, but the business makes it hard to wave down the staff so try to be ready to order when they do come by!
I stopped by Café Nin on a Friday morning and got seated right away at the bar inside. The ambiance of the cafe was peaceful and I loved the combination of fancy chandeliers and exposed brick walls. I wasn't feeling a full breakfast, so I just ordered a latte and the famous Guava Roll. This spot shares the same ownership as Panadería Rosetta, but is the more casual option of the two. My latte was well-made, and expectedly tasty. The Guava Roll was larger than I had expected, with perfect flaky dough. I loved the filling combination of guava jam and creamy cheese. Service was friendly, but somewhat leisurely. Worth a stop for coffee and a snack!

The seating although on the street is surrounded by lush plants which make it feel nice and secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. They offered variety of light food and I enjoyed the avocado toast with ants on it. I got a cup of tea while my friends drank fancy lattes that looked delicious. The best part by far was the conch pastry though. Service was fast and friendly.
First off the place is nestled in a beautiful old building.The food is amazing. I had the Chia pudding, which was amazing. The fresh fruit and the almonds were just so perfect. I also had the tamal and chilaquiles. Coffee is delicious pastries are beautiful. So good I am going back tomorrow! Highly recommend.
This place has very good reviews so my family and i wanted to check it out while we were visiting and the set up of this restaurant is so nice and cool, it honestly doesn't even feel like you're in Mexico. I got an oatmeal but it was like toasted so it had a nice crunch to it and the flavor was delicious and i really liked the option of having alternative milks so i got almond milk with it and it was really good, i had never had oatmeal like that before and it also had fruits and they were so fresh and sweet. I wish that it did come with more tbh. Service was good and fast. Prices were a bit higher considering the portions of the plates.
Our group of four went here for breakfast on our first morning in CDMX. We had various pastries, including a guava roll and lavender scone - the scone might have been my favorite pastry I had on the whole trip! We also got breakfast bowls, I got a scrambled egg bowl with zucchini flowers. I loved the aesthetic of the cafe inside, and the servers were very friendly. It was a nice touch too that the water they brought had some fun herbs in the pitcher. My friend liked it so much that she went back here two more times!

They also offered me an English menu so i didn't have to use Google Translate again. Customer service started out great but there was a few times i thought they forgot about me (this happened at a few places). The guava roll is as good as it's hyped up to be. Had to attach the video of me eating every crumb of that flaky masterpiece. The cinnamon roll was just ok, a little dry but maybe I'm use to Cinnabon? lol Thought i was just getting regular bacon and eggs and ended up with a better surprise. I almost sent it back thinking they got my order wrong. The bacon bites are hidden in there under all that cheese and eggs. Bomb regardless, they also offer plenty of fresh juice options as well
Walked in Café Nin on a Friday morning and waited about 20 minutes for a table for 6. The restaurant itself is very pretty and cute, with many different rooms and atmospheres as well as patio seating. They also have English menu available. The food was a bit hit or miss for me. I enjoyed my focaccia sandwich and the chilaquiles, but overall the flavors were a little on the mild side. The focaccia sandwich was definitely the best dish among our table--savory with a slightly sweet touch and really well made. The chilaquiles, on the other hand, were softer and less flavorful than I'd hoped, and not very crunchy. Worth a visit for the vibe, but the food didn't completely wow me.
Highly recommended for ambiance. Elegant restaurant in Roma Norte. Picturesque neighborhood. Super friendly and helpful server. She brought us English menus, very observant. Coffee art, loved it. Tiny heart at top lasted to the last sip. I ordered a cranberry scone, asked for butter, cafe latte and yogurt with seasonal fruit and granola. Doc had a breakfast sandwich and an Americano. Interior is as lovely as the exterior. There is two levels of inside seating and two sections of outside dining. Best choice for our last morning for a delightful meal to start a very rainy morning.

Visited Café Nin for brunch. Definitely book ahead or come early. Thank god I was solo because I was able to snag a seat at the bar pretty quickly. Started with a mimosa and the chia pudding. The fruit was super fresh and the bowl was surprisingly filling. Then I ordered the avocado toast with a side of bacon. The avocado was obviously fresh, but I wish it had a little more seasoning, and the brown sauce wasn't really my favorite. The bacon though? Cooked perfectly. The guava pastry was DELICIOUS! so good I had to grab another one to go. Service was good too, they move pretty quickly for such a busy spot. The ambience is really nice, with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating that gives rustic treehouse vibes. Overall, a really solid brunch spot with fresh ingredients, great pastries, and a beautiful atmosphere. read more

This gem was so good, I returned again (a travel rule I rarely break). Between the calm yet alive vibes, the incredible guava roll, and the strong espresso, I couldn't leave without trying more. I'd spend the whole afternoon here, working down the menu, if I lived here. read more

First off the place is nestled in a beautiful old building.The food is amazing. I had the Chia pudding, which was amazing. The fresh fruit and the almonds were just so perfect. This place has very good reviews so my family and i wanted to check it out while we were visiting and the set up of this restaurant is so nice and cool, it honestly doesn't even feel like you're in Mexico. Café Nina was great! The pastries were the standout item here. The guava pastry was hands down our favorite. We also loved the lemon one, and the cardamom and fig pastries were good too, just not as memorable as the guava. Would have liked to have a bit more filling in the fig pastry We got the fried eggs with white beans and tomato and the sweet pumpkin tamale, and both were super hearty and delicious. Would totally go back, especially for that guava pastry! read more

Meh, this is prob an unpopular opinion but this place is overrated. Beautiful setting for sure, and intimate vibes. Sitting upstairs you can look out and see the greenery outside. The food was mid, I've had much better things walking around CDMX but because of the hype everyone and their abuela wants to try this place. I had an americano with azucar y leche, and huevos revueltos. It was fine but nothing to write home about. I will say, they had one of the nicest restrooms I've been in while in CDMX, so maybe go for the bathrooms? read more

Llegamos un jueves sobre como a las 12 del mediodía. El lugar estaba ocupado , tanto por dentro como por fuera, pero justo nos sentaron afuera, que fue lo que elegimos. Pedimos una matcha caliente, un jugo verde, un jugo de betabel, una tarta de mango, y la camarera nos recomendó la torta de chorizo con huevo. Todo estaba fresco y delicioso! A lot of hope but real disappointing experience. The food was so bland for starters. I got an avocado toast and there was no seasoning. I had to order bacon, tomatoes, and egg on the side to spice up the avocado toast. We reminded them 2x about the egg and it came after I finished my plate so I just sent it back. The matcha latte I got with oat milk and there was not an oz of matcha- just warm milk with green food coloring. We asked for 2 types of croissants and they were both sold out. Real bummer. Don't fall for the hype of this place- can def get better food with the same ambiance elsewhere. read more

SO YUMMY! If you're looking for a spot like Lardo, Cafe Nin is another great example of a classic yet elevated CDMX cafe/brunch. They offer a wide variety of traditional Mexican dishes, delicious baked goods, and unique European inspired flavors. I highly recommend the squash blossom scrambled eggs! They were creamy and super fresh, plus it includes one of the area's most popular produce. You can tell this spot uses fresh seasonal ingredients. The textures and flavors balance super well. Additionally, the entire upstairs and outdoor seating areas are decorated so beautifully, giving you a homey yet upscale vibe to your brunch. One downside was the acoustics of the dining area are pretty loud and the service was on the slower side, but regardless and delicious brunch that I would definitely return to! read more
What a lovely little bistro. This is the kind of all day local hangout that I love discovering. We came in the evening but I've heard their daytime offerings are just as lovely. For dinner, ask for what's on special and order a glass of wine along with it. read more

Excellent food. - I highly recommend the chocolate cake (even though I didn't take an image of it). The cappuccino is the best we have had so far in Mexico City. The Croquet Madame was amazing and we noted we'd come back again for that and the cinnamon roll and cacao ricotta roll. Fantastic Ambience. - the outside and inside ambience is fantastic. You can't go wrong. It's alive, charming, makes for a great place to sit down and enjoy a chat. read more
Perfect send off breakfast in CDMX! Came recommended from the waiters at Quintonil and Pujol so you know it's good Guava Pastry - absolute must try! Amazing buttery layers, yet still very crisp. Guava + cheese (maybe ricotta? maybe maracapone?) filling was generous as well. Porchetta Sandwich - usually with focaccia, I think they were out this day so they swapped with ciabatta. Nice crispy bread, fatty and flavorful meat, paired with purple cabbage and whole grain mustard. Would recommend! Scrambled Egg & Choriza Torta - came to me piping hot! Bread was softer than expected but delicious. It was buttery, grilled, and a little bit sweet. Slices of chorizo and soft scrambled egg plus a little bit of salsa. This was the waiter's recommendation and I loved it! Had to have the fruit salad and some iced lattes on the side too :) We came at 9AM on a Wednesday and were instantly seated in the cute outdoor parklet, but could see how the place would get full quickly on a weekend. They have menus available in English if needed as well. read more
We found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. There's outdoor seating, the patio, and very limited indoor seating. It's very pretty aesthetically but the very was a little slow. My younger son ordered a side of bacon and they added it to my others sons chilaquiles. I ordered a side of fruit but it had a yogurt base at the bottom. The guava roll was delicious and latte was good. This place is a little pricey . When the bill came they didn't take off the bacon they messed up on. I didn't have the best experience I probably wouldn't go back. read more

A very popular breakfast spot. We had the chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, and avocado toast. The food was decent but pretty standard and nothing unique. We had better at other local places in CDMX. Not bad, but I wouldn't purposefully seek out this place. read more

Ended up at this place for brunch on accident and so happy we did! It is a beautiful cafe with delicious food. We were seated immediately and our server was amazing too. We tried their huevos rancheros and croissant de jamón y queso Gouda. Both were absolutely amazing! We also tried their jugo de toronja and hot chocolate. Both were good, but would've been better if they were sweeter. I couldn't leave without trying their guava roll and so happy I did! It was amazing! read more
Very busy but staff was friendly and able to fit us in without a reservation. They went above and beyond when they didn't have my ordered pastry and brought out a platter filled with close alternatives (instead of simply saying "out of stock"). Skip the Benedict which was too runny for a poached egg and lacked flavor. All the pastries were amazing and same family as the famous Rosetta. Ambiance was warm and cozy. read more

Cafe Nin is a must visit if you are in Roma Norte. We ordered an espresso martini, mocha with whiskey and cream and a delicious guava cheese roll. The martini was strong and coffee forward. The whiskey mocha was well balanced and the guava cheese roll was amazing! Service was on point and the atmosphere is incredible with great music. Love this place and definitely coming back. read more

Cafe Nin is beautifully set in an old historic building that adds a lot of charm to the experience. The food was absolutely delicious--especially the chilaquiles, which were flavorful and perfectly portioned (highly recommend the add-ons). The pan dulce is the real star here--we tried four different kinds, including their signature guava, and the mamay y pixtle, which is a must-try. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Throughout breakfast, we had four different servers and none seemed to take ownership of our table. No one checked in, and we had to constantly flag down different people just to get basics like water or napkins. We also ordered more coffee to go with our breads, but it came out about 20 minutes after the bread was served, which threw off the experience for my guest. Great food and a beautiful space, but the service left a lot to be desired. read more

Ordered: Latte (MX $60) Guava Roll (MX $60) Eggs Benedict & Spinach in Puff Pastry (MX $275): served with salad Aya's take: Last meal on our first trip to CDMX and after reading so many great reviews, we had to check out Cafe Nin. It was around 8:45am on a Friday and surprisingly most tables were taken. We grabbed 2 seats at the bar where they still offer their full menu. The Latte was warm, soothing, and nicely made. The Guava Roll was pretty solid! Nice balance of guava jam, cream, and the flakiness from the croissant pastry. Out of all the breakfasts & brunches I've had, I've never heard of or seen Eggs Benedict & Spinach in Puff Pastry. It was so intriguing that I had to try it out and wow, it deserves an applause for the creativity. It is super dense and filling; I was full for hours after this! I liked the various textures from the soft egg to the flaky puff pastry to the fresh salad and the various flavors which all came together pretty well. It definitely tastes a little "fatty" from all the butter, oil, cheese, hollandaise sauce in each element but like I said, you will be full for hours and it tastes great! A must visit cafe in roma norte. The cafe is one of a kind, using a traditional building but so charming. The menu is nteresting. We love this cafe. This time I had lemon sole. Beautifully made. Beets salad was also beautuful. read more
I had to check out Cafe Nin since it's the same team that created Panaderia Rosetta and here's my hot take: I liked Cafe Nin more. Let me add that I only tried the pound cake at Panaderia Rosetta so I didn't get the full experience, but that's because the line was long and everything sold out. But Cafe Nin was easier to get into (still a long line, but not as bad) and the food and service was still solid. Personally the highlight for me was the cranberry scone. It wasn't too dry or too sweet so it had a great balance of everything. I think it's worth a stop here just to get some baked goods and relax! read more
