When I called to complain I was connected to someone identified as the store manager, Kim, who promised to call me back in 2 hours but never did. I filled out a complaint form at Walgreenslistens.com and asked them to contact me but they haven't. I moved my prescriptions from there because of ineptitude and errors and delays. In all respects the store seems to be very poorly managed with no regard for customer service or satisfaction and has discourteous personnel. Avoid at all costs.

Some days you can go in and find every item you need and some days you might not find a single item. The only reason I go to this Publix is the connivence to my house.

Very thankful that 99% of pharmacists are ethical, and perform their jobs without including personal biases. But you won't find that at the Inverness store. This pharmacist has a history of such actions, including lying to prescribers about whether meds can be ordered, and refusing to stock meds despite having been requested by legitimate providers who verify authenticity of the prescriptions. I answered a call from Walgreens today and a recorded message started telling me there was a delay…read morein my prescription.....then it would repeat that ....again....and again.....and again. I called back. I was holding on the phone.....I did this for 40+ minutes and a real live female person answered the phone and said I will be with you in just a minute...after a while....I was disconnected and transferred to no-mans land where no one would answer the phone. I called back and now10 minutes, there are once again 2 customers ahead of me. And the computer lady keeps saying she is sorry to keep me waiting! Actually, if there were a minus.....I would give a minus 100. It is sad. This used to be a vibrant store full of staff who could help you in a reasonable time. The voice mail system is terrible. The store is under staffed. You walk in there and can't find anyone except in the pharmacy. There are still 2 callers ahead of me. Actually, I have been moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy...but I missed this one. I may be holding on this phone until my next birthday ...which is in November!!! and there are still 2 callers ahead of me. It is now 26 minutes holding. And they will be with me shorly. Today's crew assisted us with our Tamiflu and we stocked up on kids ibuprofen and acetominophin. The flu season has been awful so they could only supply the initial doses for my two boys, but they will be delivering the rest tomorrow. I love supporting local, especially Jim and his team. While I hope no one had to frequent a pharmacy, check them out and know they'll always take good care of you and your family.

But when I went to get a Covid…read morebooster in Nov. 2025 (I'm eligible by CDC rules), they said they ran my Medicare and it didn't go thru. So I asked to pay cash. Then the Gentry staff got furious and told me not to tell them how to practice, and to leave and never come back. A few weeks later I found out that a Medicare claim was filed for my having gotten a Covid shot there, with the date of service a few days AFTER I was in the office. I think they were vindictive and trying to stop me from getting Medicare from approving a Covid shot elsewhere, because they don't believe in Covid shots. I wrote to Mr. Gentry, the owner, and never heard back from him.
