Do not let the old reviews of this place scare you. They are from back when there was a previous owner. Everything about this bakery has been completely redone from top to bottom and the owner is completely about her customers! Believe me when I tell you that she is about bending over backwards to make the impossible happen! Just while I was waiting, she took two GIANT custom cake orders for the NEXT morning and said, "Don't worry. I'll make it happen. Anything for my customers!" I made the mistake of waiting until the VERY last minute to get cake for my husband's birthday (as in 1.75 hours before our dinner reservation) so I grabbed 4 slices of pink cake from their glass cake to take with us while the kids were happily entertained by the posters of cakes she has previously done and then they played at the kids play station! Let me tell you - everything in the case is baked that very day and extremely moist and delicious! We took the cake with us to Cowboy Prime in Midland, the restaurant by Celebrity Chef, Graham Elliott, and the entire staff from our drink waitress to the maitre'd and the sous chef kept looking at the cake as they walked by our table, talking about how scrumptious it looked when they served their own very expensive dessert (and I only paid $1 per slice)! I also ordered 5 dozen cupcakes for the next day for a surprise birthday party for my husband at his workplace, which I had to add an additional dozen cupcakes to at the last second from the display case at pickup, making it 6 dozen total. Every single person who ate every single one of those 72 individual cupcakes RAVED about how they were the most moist, delicious cupcakes they had ever had and how they must have been incredibly expensive! I only paid $1 per cupcake and I agree - they were way better than cupcakes that I've paid $6-$8/each for back when I was living in Albuquerque! The owner is the baker and her sons work there with her. I received extremely wonderful customer service every single encounter, with one of her sons carrying the cupcakes to my car and anchoring them upon pick up. They also serve coffee in the morning, other pastries, and even sell snow cones! Bottom line: this bakery is one of the best kept secrets being slept on in Odessa and so many people are missing out! Don't be one of the people overpaying for dry cake somewhere else! read more

Absolutely disgusting. The guy working on my sons cake blew on it. During covid-19 this man had the audacity to blow his breath on my sons cake. Very disappointed. I placed this order 4 weeks in advance and it was still 7 hours late. Then they misspelled my sons name and got the whole theme wrong. Very downplayed from what they had promised me. I'm not even angry anymore. Just truly disappointed in how fast this day was supposed to be so special for my son for me to just be waiting at a cake shop. Y'all have been making cakes for how long? And you make boxing gloves. I'm not mad i'm just genuinely shocked. Don't spend your hard earned money here. I unfortunately wasted $150 here. read more

The cupcakes are nice and soft, and the frosting is good too. They don't put an overpowering amount of it on them either. There's not a huge selection to choose from but the ones there are good and at a good price. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My wedding cake was two and a half hours late. It was delivered and set up during my wedding ceremony. I know that because several of my guests told me exactly when it got there because it caused a commotion. Also, half of the silhouette cake topper continued to fall apart. Heather, the owner said that that was because it was too hot in the room. But she couldn't explain why only half of the silhouette was too hot, while the other half was fine. I believe it was poorly constructed. Additionally, the cake did not look like it was supposed to look. She made a sketch of a beautiful cake, but that is not what I received. When I called her two days after my wedding, Heather yelled at me and told me that she is 'tired of everyone trying to milk (them) dry from one little mistake', which makes me wonder how many times they make 'little mistakes'. Also, 2 and a half hours and a poorly made cake, are not little mistakes! P.S. Several people asked me why the cake tasted like toothpaste. read more
