If you have been in search for an oasis in the desert your search is over! With a calming and tropical atmosphere you will find an incredibly welcoming staff. They offer a Feature of the Day that does not disappoint. Try the fried zucchini with a Blackberry Iced Tea!

4 stars for a Midland restaurant! 5 stars for the view and atmosphere! It was a little humid at our table of 8 around 7pm, but they had fans on and we were right next to the Koi pond! 3.5 stars for the food. I ordered the crab cakes, which were decent for Midland but shameful in a larger city. Creme brûlée was delicious! We went on a night with live music, it was WAY too loud.

My friend knows me so well. When in town wanting to catch up while on a work trip, I asked her to pick a place for lunch. Low and behold, I enter an oasis of a nursery in the Permian Desert heat. It's a gorgeous, expansive nursery with all the foliage types you would expect and even some you wouldn't. In the middle of the gardens is a cafe! The menu was small but quaint. I ordered the chile relleno. It was a different take on the traditional chile rellenos I watched my mom make from scratch. The portion on the plate was a bit small but they made up for it with a sizeable refillable ice tea. The service was also very quick and polite. When in town I will definately meet up here, the plant lover that I am, it has the best scenery I could wish for.

I had lunch here and then came back for the weekly Thursday night live music. Awesome place to have a drink or lunch, can't beat the views!

The cafe at the gardens has a great atmosphere and unique environment. If you want a nice place to visit, while enjoying the outdoors this is where you want to go. I recommend going for dessert, the food can be hit or miss. I went on a busy Monday afternoon, so I won't hold the quality of food against them too hard. I just really wish my loaded baked potato soup was more creamy. I felt the potato and bacon chunks were a little more overwhelming than I am used to.

Never even got to sit down. Was given a 10-15 minute wait time. 20 minutes later got a text letting me know my table would be ready soon. Waited by the host stand for another 25 minutes before leaving because there would not be enough time to eat.

This place is great. Stopped here with my friend for lunch after she picked me up at the airport for a weekend in Midland. I love that this little place is located inside the nursery and you are surrounded by fresh green plants and flowers and a fountain with goldfish swimming. It's very relaxing. I ordered a sandwich and got the sweet potato fries which my friend insisted I try. She was right those fries are amazing. My sandwich was very good too though I can't remember the name of it. It came with avocado, bean sprouts, bacon and maybe turkey. I ordered it on a fresh warm croissant and it was DELICIOUS. We might eat here again before I head home to Virginia I liked it so much!

I am very happy that I found Saint Blaise as they hit all three of my marks for restaurants that I take customers to. Food: The food was great. I wanted to get the steak and potatoes but it was $50+ which I thought was a bit steep for just steak and potatoes. I opted for the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly with delicious broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side that were also cooked perfectly. The gnocchi had a perfect consistency with a non-overwhelming sauce so also phenomenally done. The two drinks I got: Same Place and Maple Manhattan were well-made with each component complementing each other well and not overpowering one another. If you like tequila and manhattans I think you will be happy. Service: The servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit especially with the waters. Huge kudos! Ambiance: I will say because the inside space is a bit tight and small, having conversation when the restaurant was busy proved a bit difficult but if that is the case they do have seating right outside in the lobby area and having conversations there should not be an issue. I will make sure to be back with customers here!

The Saint Blaise chowder was wonderful and the bread pudding was divine. Overall a great experience and we can't wait to go back to try the brunch menu!

This part of Texas has no business having sushi that good either. Used to always get the wagyu ribeye, then th Akaushi, then I tried the lamb chops and got stuck on those. They've got a desert that I can never remember the name of that looks kind of like a cheesecake. It's phenomenal. Wait staff is always terrific. Easy to spend over $1,000 here, but also not hard to leave for less than $100/person and have everyone waddling out with a loose button. Fantastic restaurant.

The menu consists of raw plates, apps, salads, sandwiches, land and sea plates, and steaks. Half of the front of their menu is devoted to sushi rolls, containing elevated items like lobster and waygu steak. On the rear of the menu, their side dishes didn't really impress me as there are many starches and only 2 green veggies. This restaurant is still very classy in several ways, or at least they make a valiant attempt. One example, when ordering sushi rolls, they bring out a nice metal chopstick holder. However, the chopsticks themselves are just the cheap wooden ones in a paper packaging. I decided to sit at the bar since the dining area looked busy; however, the bar area was also just as busy. On the bar side of the restaurant, there are actually many more tables toward the back which were mostly vacant during the majority of my visit. I decided to order the steak frites which they say is a Denver cut. Denver steaks are from the well-used shoulder area and typically have great marbling and a deep beef flavor. The dish comes with their truffle fries and bearnaise sauce. It's a simple dish and not their priciest cut, but it's the most affordable way to get one of their steaks without being presented on a sandwich or priced in the 68-275 range as their other steaks. Steak frites - the steak was tender and very tasty. It actually was much better without the room temp bearnaise sauce. Not sure why they have that on the plate since it ruins a steak imo. The steak itself was also luke warm and not hot from the broiler. The fresh cut shoestring fries were warm but not quite as hot as I was expecting. Luckily, the garlic aioli helped. This restaurant is a great place for many occasions but can also be a good place for someone dining solo looking for upscale food.
