Well, it really doesn't get better than this place. Jason was extremely helpful with my request for a cake but made w/o corn syrup, honey, or molasses, which my wife can't handle. The cake was ready on time and exactly as ordered. As far as taste, the cake literally melts in your mouth, and the buttercream was incredible, with a dull sweetness that is exactly how it should taste like. Great baked goods.! The honey butter crossaint was amazing. The apple tarts are so good and not sweet like pie filling but just the right amount of light sweet touch to tart from the apples. So I had been wanting to pop by here and before work the other day I stopped in. The bakery is lovely and bright inside with glass cases of their baked goods on display. I was greeted promptly by the owner I think. He was very friendly and helpful. I was hoping for a warm chocolate chip cookie but they were still in the oven. I definitely wanted something with a little chocolate and the cinnamon coffee cake caught my eye. I noticed the bags of Valhrona chocolate on display so they definitely take care in what they're making and using high quality ingredients. There were mini carrot cakes in the case along with an Oreo cheesecake and Strawberry cheesecake. I noticed a sign for banana cream pie and he said they would be put out later (another visit for sure). The slice of coffee cake was HUGE and I took a nibble when I got in the car. So yummy, tender crumb and the bits of chocolate throughout were amazing. I want to come back and try other items soon. read more

They are moist and flavorful - never crumbly and dry. The croissants are fresh - always - and so buttery-good. And don't get me started on the brownies and cookies - - perfection! I ordered red velvet mini's for my granddaughters birthday party and they were a hit, too! He created a delightful gender-reveal cake for my daughter's shower - - and it was another triumph. A large selection of cakes and desserts , I purchased several items to bring home . I arrived early and some of the offerings were still warm , when placed in the box . I loved the savory Ham & Swiss Croissant , The Mrs. raved about the Chocolate Croissant. By the afternoon the only thing left from my purchase was a single Cinnamon Roll. I tried to find a bakery that makes hazelnut cakes.. this cake is my mom's favorite. For years I couldn't find it. Finally on my mom's 88th birthday I found a bakery that could make hazelnut cakes. Well you can imagine my disappointment when I did not find any vanilla buttercream options up on scanning the plentiful selections of the display case. However, when I shared my concern, the owner promptly offered to put something together since he had buttercream in the back. How awesome. He literally gave me a few options and went to the back and came back with the most delicious cupcakes ever. The buttercream was perfection. We also ordered a few other options like the blueberry tart, banana bread and a chocolate cupcake. Everything was absolutely amazing. The key lime tarts are just that...tart and super tasty! They have the best crust ever. Usually, I will eat the key lime filling out of the crust, but this crust I would eat all by itself. It is absolutely delicious! I bought one and went back for two more! The chocolate mousse cake has a wonderful chocolate ganache over a moist chocolate cake with a really light chocolate mousse inside. I have also had the croissant, the apple tart and pie, the coconut cake, and the strawberry shortcake. Everything I have indulged in from Cake Stand has exceeded all expectations and I will continue to satisfy my bakery cravings at Cake Stand.
