The barista was socially inept but I still made a good faith to have a nice experience for my first visit which made it a bit uncomfortable. The chalk drawn coffee chart with picture and coffee style was a nice addition to the decor and provided an easy way to choose your tailored brew. The open view bakery with a clear glass partition is a great way for customers to get a first hand peek at a cool attraction, although nothing going on today. Nice wide seating area under the covered patio surrounded by a red brick ledge with a gorgeous black & white wall mural. A relaxing area not in the direction of the fire hot west sun. Ordered a cold Americano coffee and an espresso which was tasty. Tried to briefly chat with the barista but was still unsuccessful getting a smile, maybe she was just having a bad day. Totally different vibe a few doors down at the Third Place Coffee Lounge. The gender neutral bathroom was clean with modern ammenities. Above average 3.5 star rating. read more

I decided that I would try Seabra Bakery And Cafe this morning and I am glad that I made that decision. When I walked inside the bakery, they were quite busy and that is always a good sign. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I had to choose the bread that I wanted (they charge you for the bread separately). I also ordered two puff pastry palmiers and a container of coffee. Most people know the palmiers by the name "Elephant Ears ". The sandwich was loaded with eggs, bacon and cheese. I was surprised at how good it was. I was only able to eat one of the Palmiers because I was filled by the sandwich and coffee. The food was delicious and the coffee was very good. BTW, the roll the server chose for the sandwich was soft and delicious. If you happen to be in the East Boca area near Spanish River Boulevard, I would definitely recommend you stop here for breakfast or dessert. read more

always like to try new bakery cafés for lunch and today we tried this one it's a bakery first, but they do have lunch and lots of delicious cakes and pies, the bread look delicious. We ended up with a tuna wrap, which was very good and a piece of coconut cake which tasted even better when it was dipped into two cappuccino there's indoor outdoor seating. We sat outside. I love this bakery! Glass windows seperate the bakery production from the store, so you can see what's happening behind the scenes, which is pretty cool. They have breads, croissants, mozzarella rolls, baguettes, savory items and amazing looking pastries. This is a Brazilian bakery, and yes, I sought it out for this reason! Their pastel de nata is delicious, as is their Brazilian cheese balls. I picked up 2 different pre-packaged boxes from their boxes section- having no idea what they were- and both were unique and delicious- one looked light a plain white twisted cookie, but the flavor was lemony. Another was dark brown with a white sugary something dusted on top- and it had a unique flavor I could not identify, but tasted unique to me, not overly sweet. Every time I've visited, there has been an abundance of waitstaff on hand available to take and fill orders. They have been kind and patient, while also making coffees. One of my favorite bakeries! They bake the cakes and bread right there in front of you through a glass room. They have a large variety of breads, very affordable. Discovered Pastel de Nata during a recent trip to Spain. Loved them and I have been looking for a place that makes them locally. Well I found it. Seabra Bakery has them and they are insanely good. I went for breakfast and got a bacon egg and cheese sandwhich and they let me pick out the bread from an abundant number of fresh choices. It was great. Lots of crunchy bacon and melty cheese and the roll was so fresh and soft on the inside with a perfect level of crunch chewy on the outside. I give it an 11 out of 10!!! I took of their mini Portuguese cheese puff rolls home for later and they were delicious. Anxious to try more items from their bakery and sandwich menu. The open kitchen is great too. You get to see how clean it is and how fresh the products are. Not a lot of searing inside but plenty of nice tables to sit at outside and enjoy the weather. read more

Service is great, helping with translation of Portuguese names to English, and just in general. Did pickups (2-3 times) so can't speak much re: ambiance but looks nice. Being a New Yorker, and married to the granddaughter of a baker I have a pretty high bar of criteria be that as it may. I asked what breads are available? None I was told. What? I'm standing there and I want tuna wrap and asked make a fresh correct she said oh yeah they pulled the one out of the refrigerator that was old and put it over there and I'm watching her and she's looking at me. I love walking into a bakery and seeing what is being sold actually being made in house as too often a bakery will just hire a distributor to deliver what they are selling. Perhaps the ordering of so many items brought the review down but we enjoyed some of our purchases and not so much others. Our opinion of the cakes were mixed with one cake imparting an unpleasant aftertaste (shortening, corn syrup?) while two others were fine with a Carrot Cake being the standout. The Carrot Cake was non-traditional (well for the U.S. at least) and had the perfect texture and sweetness as well as a good ratio of cake to frosting. Sandwiches were mixed with a roast beef being okay but the panini bread took it up a notch. A Chicken sandwich was terrible and it tasted like cheap processed chicken and I ditched it. Empanadas were okay at best and both the chicken and beef were disappointing and these were not worth finishing. The star of the bakery are their breads and these didn't disappoint. The breads were fresh and had a nice clean taste. Seabra is near my house and because of that I might go back but not anytime soon. read more
