The gluten-free vanilla and strawberry top layer was a big hit, and the chocolate bottom layer was delicious too. The S'mores Cookies were a fun addition -- the kids loved them, and a few adults did too. Overall, I had a really good experience and would definitely order from Sweet Heaven again.

I finally had a day off from work, the stars aligned, and I was in the area when they were open. The bakery's friendly owner, Jason, does double duty running the register and baking all the treats. He sells croissants both sweet and savory, cinnamon rolls, cakes, coffee cakes, tarts, pies, cookies, and cupcakes. Everything is made in house with quality ingredients. He also sells espresso and specialty coffee drinks. There is a counter with some stools if you want to eat in and there is a small table outside. Based on Holly S.'s visit and recommendations I asked for a chocolate chip cookie and a slice of coffee cake. While Jason was packaging my treats I couldn't help but admire an individual carrot cake and a chocolate cupcake topped with candy bar pieces. I took my baked goods with me to be enjoyed later. When I got around to trying the cookie it was loaded with chocolate and was the perfect amount of chewiness. The large slice of coffee cake had a tender crumb and was swirled with cinnamon sugar goodness. The cake slice and cookie was only $7 which seems like a bargain compared to what some bakeries I have been to have charged. This is a newer, smaller location...but the frozen custard is very tasty. And I'm not the only one who thinks so based on the lines. I've tried the buckeye and cookie monster now and both are very good, although i have a slight preference for the buckeye. As you can tell from the pictures I have provided, compared to what you have made, doesn't even compare to what we requested. If you weren't able to do so as a professional you could have advised us that you can make a similar version. The cake flowers from color, type and size as well as the lace design were all wrong. Flowers were supposed to be lilac. We were told strawberries were in season and were happy to hear fresh strawberries would be used in the cake. I don't think I have to say what happened there. Lace around the cake was not spaced correctly and unevenly centered around the cake. You could have said that you weren't able to replicate this cake and could have shown us what you can do and we would go from there. If it would have cost more, again, you should have said so. The cupcakes weren't average size and if you or your assistant decorated them, as you can see, they were done sloppy and again the flower type was wrong. I had a bad feeling when you thought that the cakes were for Satuarday and the delays in the emails. I guess you live and learn, and you can keep my good review because that was a review toward you as an individual.
