When I spoke with Cathy on the phone her creativity and enthusiasm was apparent. I shared that the theme for our party was the Blues Brothers and that I had a matchbox car, a replica of the Bluesmobile from the movie, to use as the cake topper. Her ideas to expand on this theme were spot on! We arranged for the cake to be delivered to our hotel on the day of the party which was very convenient. Before the wedding, she made the whole process so easy by offering five different cake tastings for us to pick up and try at home, which made choosing our flavor really fun and convenient. Her pricing is more than worth it for the quality, taste, and care she puts into her work. We also paid for delivery and setup, and she went above and beyond by placing a dozen cookies in each clear bag so our guests could take some home. The baker listened to my daughter for what she wanted and offered options that we did not even know where options. She mentioned all of the desserts were made in house, so I had to try their peanut butter chocolate dome. I decided to take it home, so she happily boxed it and gave me a bag as well. When I got home, I took half of it. It tasted like a mousse cake, which was creamy and chocolatly. The peanut butter inside was also very nice. I saved the other half the next day, and enjoyed every bite. The cake was about the size of the pastries at the Fresh Market, but a bit better quality. For 8 bucks, it was a nice splurge. I wish there was a small seating area to enjoy the pastrie at that stall, but I guess you could just sit on one of the seats at the market instead. They have so many flavors to try and they're decorated wonderfully. It was just before Valentine's day, so they have pretty ones for the holiday. They also had a cute Stitch one. I ended up up getting a box with 5 flavors - Red Velvet, Mango and Raspberry were a few of the flavors. I got them as a gift for my daughter and she LOVED them. She said they were some of the best she has had. She particularly enjoyed the fruit flavored ones. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors, as well as sample some of the lovely chocolates they have. Highly recommend!
