I ordered a cake for my husband's 70's birthday. I have never ordered from this bakery; although we have purchased small bakery treats from their yummy looking glass display cabinets. My husband's favorite cake is German Chocolate, though it's not mine. I was asking them to fudge it up a bit around the edges, so I could enjoy it. I have to tell you that my husband said it was one of the best German Chocolate cakes he had ever had, if not the BEST! We all LOVED it, which made it go very quickly. They seriously could charge you just to step into the store! More on that in a bit. My Dad's 80th Birthday was coming up and my sister and I decided to throw him a big party. We needed a bakery that we could trust to create a cake that would be the hit of the day. We found it. My sister checked around and learned that Debbi was the spot with the best quality and service. A few days before the party, when I was finally in town from San Diego, we stopped in to make the final payment for the cake. When you step into the playful storefront you mouth begins to water from the scent of buttercream and other treats from behind the counter. We only stopped in to pay for the cake, but we walked out with a box full of treats for later in the day. My sister's husband ate the lemon bar she bought for herself, so later I went back to pick one up for her, and came home with another box full of goodies including the best Mexican Wedding Cookies I've ever had. Eat them fast kids - they are best super fresh. The cake was exactly what we were hoping for. I live in San Diego - thank god, because I'm fat enough as it is. Service here is super friendly! We stopped in today after realizing this place was new in Newnan and the cases of cakes definitely enticed us in from outside. Super cute decor and very clean. Not much inside seating but enough to stop in briefly for a sweet treat. The cases are full of beautiful baked goods. We took two cupcakes to go: red velvet and chocolate lovers. The cake was on the dense side but had good flavor. The buttercream on both cupcakes had a wonderful creamy texture but was a bit bland - it just needed some "oomph." I was craving some more of that cream cheese tanginess that I associate with red velvet cake. That's the only reason we didn't give five stars. We will definitely go back though and try the donuts and cookies! read more

This would be the worst 90.00 I ever spent at a bakery. The cake was better served as a hockey puck. I doubt whether there was any butter or whipping cream in the cake, just chemicals. Same for the cookies and cheese sticks we got. Then there were the employees and the boss arguing at the register. They barely got a thank you out to their best sale of the day. We happened upon this little cute bakery a couple days ago since we parked just down from it. They were super friendly, nice and polite. The place was clean and not a lot of room to sit down, however you could if you wanted or needed to while you waited for your order or ate your lunch or sweet treat. Oh did I mention that they do more than just treats? They do sandwiches and wraps. They have a selection of sodas so you can get lunch and a treat all in one stop shop...best of everything in one spot, go figure. We have the monster cookie, should be called the kitchen sink...everything except oatmeal and bananas , just delicious...it is also really big. Also tried the pumpkin donut, didn't quite have enough pumpkin for our taste buds, however is different...good thing that was at the beginning of our journey our day so we could at least try and walk some that goodness off... read more

I have been buying cakes from her for years. When she moved to West Point on my birthday and anniversary my husband would call her and order a cake for me. He did not have to tell her what kind she always knew. Her cakes is all I ask my husband for on special occasions. She will never disappoint you. Merry Christmas everyone! I'm big on reviews so I must say I had to give Debbie's Cakes a chance. What better time than for Christmas? I ordered Christmas cupcakes only to arrive on Christmas Eve to a dozen everyday cupcakes. After explaining I made sure to request Christmas cupcakes I was basically told "that's not what was written and we don't have anymore icing". I wasn't able to present Christmas cupcakes to my family at Christmas time. I said to myself it's ok, no one other than myself knew about my surprising them with the cupcakes. For $35.00 I just knew they were going to taste amazing. These cupcakes weren't even regular. They were dry, icing hard, no flavor at all and they were assorted. I regret not going to Publix it for as much as I spent I should have patronized Cami's Cakes. There are still 10 cupcakes in the box. While two of them are in the trash. They were completely tasteless. The shop gets a 10 for its cuteness. The service was sorry and very disappointing. I'm very new to the newnan area and attempted to make the local bakery my go to shop For tasty treats. The service alone will keep me away. The tasteless cupcakes were my reason for this review. Do yourself a favor and stick with Publix bakery. At least you're guaranteed freshly baked cupcakes. My family is extremely disappointed with Debbie's cakes. read more
