My daughter and I were exploring all the new stores at The Avenue and noticed Heirloom Donuts. There was absolutely no way we were going to not go once I told her that I saw a donut shop. I must say that I was super impressed when we walked in and immediately wanted to buy all the sweet treats! There were donut pool floats around the door which my daughter loved and a set of table and chairs out front if you wanted to sit and enjoy your treat outdoors. It is a super cute little shop with huge framed prints of donuts on the wall, inspirational messages, and it was very inviting. Just know that there is a lot of messages surrounding the good Lord and they sell mini Jesus figurines for (75 cents) so if that's not your thing, just know it's part of the layout. My tiny tot loveddddd being able to see allll the donuts in the display case and it was pretty cool how the glass case was from the counter all the way to just above the floor so we were able to get a full view of all the donuts that were available. The young lady working had such a warm smile and friendly attitude. She asked if we had been there before and when I said it was our first visit, she explained their options and was just kind. They have glazed donuts, specialty donuts (apple fritters, etc), cake donuts (blueberry, red velvet - the thicker donut variety), topped donuts (frosted donuts with fruity pebbles or sprinkles), and they also have an option for you to build your own donut. The prices were very reasonable and I ended up with half a dozen. We decided to get a variety of donuts... *cookies n cream *original glazed *strawberry sprinkle *chocolate sprinkle *apple fritter *blueberry cake My daughter wanted to sit down and enjoy her donut so we sat and split the chocolate sprinkle. It was super light and not too sweet. We both really enjoyed it and took the rest home for the rest of the family to enjoy. We've had everything in the box but the blueberry cake donut and apple fritter as of today. Each donut we've tried has been fresh as the first donut we tried two days ago. I went to Heirloom donuts today to see if they had my drink in it was a white chocolate frappe. And this nice girl name Macy she greeted me with a smile and asked may I help you. So I told her what had happened the last time I was here (nothing bad at all) So Macy got right on it and brought my drink to me and it was great. Big, delicious donuts in many varieties. And they honor the local Scouts' Camp Card discount.

We have supported this business for many years. They recently changed the oil the donuts are fried in from a plant oil to an animal oil. They did not post any sort of signs in the store noting this change. They only made a small note to their website letting the public know of this change. This is incredibly dangerous considering the amount of people with food allergies and sensitivities. It was irresponsible of them to make such a major change to the recipe without making it easily know to their customers. As someone who has been going here for years I had no reason to check the site to make sure everything was the same has it has been for years. Because of this lack of care and lack of transparency we will no longer buy anything from this store. read more

Disappointed in their new model of production/supply. What made Heirloom unique was their in house baking of goods such as duffins, pudding bread, brownies, and cakes. My family and I enjoyed going in before the holidays and picking out a variety of goodies. I was craving donuts & suddenly remembered this local shop. We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon with no other customers in the shop. We told them it was our first time, and asked them what flavors they had. It would have been really helpful to have the donuts and other desserts labeled because I felt annoying asking "what is that?", "what is that one?", "and what about that?". I ended up getting the regular chocolate cake donut. The seating wasn't really cozy or welcoming like the last location which unfortunately burnt down. The staff treats us amazing every time we come, never hesitating to explain what a flavor is, or just start a friendly conversation! So many flavors to choose from for your donuts, but they also have cakes, cookies, loafs and other breakfast treats on the occasion. They did the wedding cake for my daughter's wedding. Casey and her team knocked it out of the park. Aesthetically, the cake was everything my daughter wanted it to be. Several guests at the wedding remarked it was the best tasting wedding cake they ever had. The Donut wall was also a big hit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

Donuts were stale and expensive. Not worth it at all. Will not try again. We ordered a dozen and every donut tasted days old.

The food and coffee are good but they have poor customer service. I placed an order for Mother's Day in advance, but they left off multiple items with no advance notice. I had even called to confirm the full order a couple of days before. Despite their error, we enjoyed the food so tried again and placed another order in advance about a month later and again confirmed a couple of days before. We even communicated our prior experience. Again, they omitted a third of the order without any warning. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend. read more

I placed an order for donuts and bagels for a Father's Day gathering with family. I went in person to place the order and was told it would be ready first thing in the morning on Father's Day. It wasn't ready and after waiting almost a half hour when we opened the box at home we saw that we were shorted 6 jelly donuts. We were never told they were missing yet when I called when we got home they were aware that they were not included !! Terrible customer service. I will never go back! read more
