The owner clearly holds this location to a high standard, especially compared to the Bolsa locations. They're friendly, work efficiently, and get your food out quickly so you can get on with your day. The prices are fair, especially considering inflation as of July 2026. My usual order is four bánh bao and a chè for a snack, which comes to about $17.95. This location is also very convenient if you're heading northbound on Brookhurst, which is my usual route to work. Parking can be a little tricky, but customers are in and out pretty quickly, so it's usually not a problem. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. Their bánh mì heo quay is also really good! My only suggestion would be to add a little more pickled carrot and daikon to the sandwiches. Other than that, this place is an easy 5 stars.

Amazing!!! I'm always blown away by Holly K's creativity and design. You tell her what you're thinking and she brings your vision to life. Then, you cut into the cake and it's so moist and delicious! Holly K has made four cakes for us: a welcome home BBQ themed cake, a Curious George cake for my daughter's birthday, a cake for my son's baptism and a patriotic themed cake for my son's first birthday. Sweet Traders were not only able to fit me in for a tasting but also make a 6" heart shaped cake, lambeth style with black lettering, all in less than a week for me!! They absolutely kicked butt! I chose the lemon blueberry cake with vanilla Bavarian filling and my goodness, IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! It was so wonderful that my guests absolutely raved about it and I hope to get a small version of it every year for our anniversary. They really had the perfect cake to icing to cream ratio annnd the cake was so moist. You can see the ratio in the picture. The top and side is their wonderful buttercream icing, then the lemon blueberry cake and vanilla Bavarian cream between each layer of cake. And just when I thought my experience with Sweet Traders couldn't get any better, their pricing was extremely reasonable and fair! I can't thank them enough, they really went above and beyond for me and my wedding in such a short notice. I highly recommend Sweet Traders, you will not regret ordering from them! She promised they could make my cake and deliver in time for the party at the Newport Beach Yacht Club. She was super helpful on the design. Their instagram has great content/examples of their work. She was especially helpful in what size cake I needed and flavors. On her advice we settled on one large sheet cake and two personalized cakes for the birthday boys so they could blow out their own candles. It was absolutely perfect. The cakes arrived on time, they were beautiful, AND delicious. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received. If you are anywhere in Orange County, this should be on your short list of go-to venders for parties.
