The setup is very intimate - communal outdoor seating with maybe less than 10 tables total, and you can actually look into the kitchen and watch the chefs work. It has a really cool, almost immersive energy to it. What makes the concept interesting is that there's no menu. It's kind of like an omakase-style flow where dishes are brought out in rounds, and depending on when you arrive, you may or may not get to experience earlier dishes. After each round, the staff checks in with you to see if you'd like to continue or close out. There was about a 2-hour wait, but honestly that gave me time to explore the city and come back, which wasn't too bad. Going in, I had really high expectations, and while the food itself is undeniably high quality and beautifully executed, I did leave a bit underwhelmed overall. A lot of the dishes leaned very veggie and carb forward, which I'm not sure if that's just the nature of the menu or because I came later in the evening and missed some earlier rounds. If I were vegetarian, I think I'd probably rate this an easy 5 stars. But personally, I was hoping for a bit more protein throughout the experience, and that balance just wasn't really there for me. Still a very creative and well-executed concept, just not fully aligned with what I was expecting.

There are two dining areas and a fascinating little store that sells tea, jewelry, designer clothes and in the hallway, beauty products (I think). Note: It is quite dark. I felt really old because I needed my phone light to read the menu, but our much younger waiter also had trouble seeing to process our credit card lol. Service was kind and professional. Tuscan food is unusual for us and we don't eat many of the ingredients, so our selections were a bit limited. Happily, we both found dishes that we enjoyed. My husband had chicken breast, which came with a salad snd sweet potato puree. The salad dressing was so light and lemony. I want to come back just for that. My white fish was Mediterranean in style and cooked in a sauce of cherry tomato, artichokes, olives and capers. It was delicious, but enough for two or three meals, so I took some home. Our meals came with herbed crisp breads and herb butter. They have a nice selection of teas and I absolutely loved the white tea with flower petals and lychee. Overall, a great find.

For its notoriety I expected a more grand storefront but it was just a standard food stall. You line up to order and pay and then they give you your food. You can take your food to go or grab one of the few tables next to the shop. The unique thing about this taqueria is that they cook their meats in slabs and place them on the tortillas as-is. They don't chop up your meat into dices and they don't have the typical taco proteins you'd expect either. We ordered most of the meats: steak ($58 MXN), rib ($88), filet ($77), and chop ($88). My favorites were the steak and chop. The rib was a little tough. All the meats tasted better with salt and I liked the green salsa on top. These weren't the best tacos I've ever had but they were good. While its Michelin star meant that I had to try it, I probably wouldn't go back.

We split the pepperoni (added anchovies) and the Fungi mushroom. Both excellent. We are pizza snobs and honestly CDMX has some of the best pizza outside the Northeast, and Felix is right up there. Pepperoni had a nice kick, anchovies on point, mushrooms so good. First time having Mexican ginger beer too, loved the little spice. Tiramisu was generous and great. Service lovely, space super cool. Five stars. Already planning to come back for breakfast.

It's easily accessible, and on the evening we visited, every table was full of people enjoying a night out, creating a vibrant and energetic dining scene. We started with the mixed olives, which were flavorful but still contained the pits, so be prepared. From there, I moved on to the grilled salad, which was delicious and ended up being one of the better food items of the evening. For the main course, we ordered both the meat lovers pizza and the pepperoni pizza. The pizzas had good flavor, but the crust was noticeably wet, which I understand may be characteristic of the tavern-style preparation. While both pizzas were enjoyable, neither was particularly memorable or something I'd go out of my way to recommend. The real stars of the evening came later. The Aperol Spritz was excellent, the Americanos were perfectly prepared, and the chocolate cake was absolutely amazing. In fact, those three items ended up being the highlights of the entire experience. Overall, the food was good, especially considering the simplicity of the menu and preparation. While not every dish wowed me, the atmosphere, cocktails, coffee, and dessert made for an enjoyable evening. I would definitely stop in again, but next time I'd be a little more selective with my order.
