The big gate was opened with workers beginning to leave, unfortunately our dog Chip went through the gate and from what I could see, several of the workers should have seen our dog Chip to bring him back into the side yard. Unfortunately I had to get to a job interview and was late, several many of the workers were just hanging out. I hope that one of them would have gotten Chip back into the side yard w the gate, but mistakenly presumed that someone would noticed him outside the gate. I will never leave again w/o notifying the workers. Thankfully I was able to find him in the woods approx between 45m to approx 60 mins behind Totem Theatre / the big parking lot etc. I attempted to call the owner with Trooper Scoopers to give a few concerns, but not sure if given the actual name of the owner as I have few things to give a heads up about. It was also indicated that the owner was given info that "gate latch" was NOT working correctly. I had my spouse show me the gate latch and how it works. And it worked just fine, no issues, appears that maybe those working didn't know how it was to work. The owner never reached out to us on this issue to let us know of their concern. We have pictures of the gate latch showing no damage etc. I can send those screenshots via an email for you to see. It is with great regret that I must update/change my review about Iron Moose Lawn Co. Up until this…read moreyear, 2026, I could count on great lawn care and customer service from Aaron and Miranda. However, this year they came up with a new service scheme for "Members Only" that most definitely benefits them and not the customer. We agreed to the "Basic" service thinking it was the same as what we were getting all along; lawn mowing only. What we didn't know was that we would be charged at the start of the month, in this case, March 31st for April, before any work was accomplished. We contacted Miranda after we were charged $294 for April's service to inform her that our yard was still deep in snow and there was no way they would be able to cut our lawn until May. She agreed to move the April payment to cover May's service, which was acceptable to us. Now the problem, the only lawn service we received in May was on the 25th. $294 for one day's lawn cutting! Naively we thought they would carry over the remaining amount of money to cover a portion on June's service, but no, on May 31st, they charged us $289 for June! On June 1st they did mow our lawn, but never did they apply the remainder of May's payment to cover June. We contacted Miranda and informed her that we weren't happy with their new payment scheme and that we would like to cancel their service and receive a refund for any unused portion of the money we paid, in this case a total of $353 out of the $583. Miranda informed us that she would process a direct deposit refund after she explained that the services now cost $80 per visit, up from the $70 we were paying. Plus, we added $70 to what we owed because they forgot to charge us for an October lawn service; $230 deducted from the $583 paid for a $353 refund. After two weeks of waiting, we still had not received a refund. When we enquired about not receiving the refund, she said she would have Aaron send us a check. That was on June 22nd. Since then, we haven't heard a word from either of them even though we've tried calling, texting, emailing, and even sending letters to both their work post office and home addresses asking about our refund. Calling is worthless as Miranda doesn't answer the phone and their voice mailbox is full. We don't know what has happened to their business, but it has definitely fallen and left us feeling like fools taken for a ride. I never knew what "Ghosting" meant, but I do now since they've obviously blocked our phone number and email address to avoid confronting us. We cannot in all good conscious recommend Iron Moose Lawn Co. As they say, "Let the buyer beware!"

I'm about to put my house on the market and I knew it was important to get that "curb appeal". I started Googling and Yelping and found several lawn care companies in Anchorage. I had several estimates done on my property and Lawn Savers was by far the lowest. I was hesitant to use their services as there weren't a lot of reviews out there, but figured since they were much lower priced than the others, I'd give them a shot. I called in early April and it was still freezing at night. They said they'd have to wait until it warmed up and they'd email me once they could head out to do the cleanup. He gave me options as far as upgrades and told me how much I could expect it to be and what it would cost to haul the bags away ($3 per bag). Sunday morning, the Lawn Savers truck showed up at my house. I was a bit surprised to see only one person there to do the work and assumed it would take him all day. I was very pleasantly surprised that it took him less than three hours and he did a fantastic job. The poor guy had to bag up 18 lawn bags of crap from my yard. He was very polite and let me know when he was leaving and that he'd be back to pick up the bags the next day. I would absolutely recommend Lawn Savers to anybody looking for yard cleanup. Be sure to check the website to see if they have a deal on there.

These guys do. Which is important to me. The price is perfect. I am moving to a condo and so won't see them again but I recommend them.

We also had a new roof put on two weeks prior and in doing so, we discovered some bits of rotten fascia boards. Originally, ABC wasn't going to be able to do our gutters until much later in the season. They called my hubs to say they would be in our neighborhood the next day and wanted to do the gutters. My hubs explained that we had discovered some rotted fascia and we needed to fix that before the gutters were installed. ABC offered to fix the bad fascia and do the gutters same day. Yes, there was an up charge for the fascia. Totally worth it!! The techs were polite and thorough. They had colors that matched our house and trim. We did not opt for the gutter guard system, we don't have many trees. My neighbor loves her gutter guards, though.
