Very annoyed that my son's car was just at caliber collision for A month. They put a new number on. And it cracked out of nowhere. And now they want to charge us 2,000 dollars for another new bumper. They are saying it happened from cold weather. Im sorry its from crap parts and crap work. A bumper should not just Crack from cold weather. Not a brand new bumper. So, I was in a car accident and went through the process with my insurance company . This was the first accident I was in , so this was all new to me ... My insurance company gave me options, the best one , to get an estimate/ work done by a shop in their network to guarantee the work for life.. They gave me options that were close to my area, so I selected caliber collision( a huge mistake) .. I called to make the appointment, and they asked if I was driving in or having a tow , I said driving .. They then checked my insurance company and made the appropriate appointment. I drove the car to the shop, they took a few photos , didn't say much other than that it would take a while to get the parts and it would take about 7 days to do the work once they had the parts ... Then I drove my car back home, I waited over a week and heard NOOOTHING from the shop. Then my insurance company called ME , asking me if I took my car to the shop for the estimate , I told them I did .. They then seemed confused, having not received the estimate, nor any pictures , and when the estimate was finally sent, there were no photos , which added to this extraordinary and unnecessary wait .. after receiving the pictures and 4 weeks later, I finally got my estimate , with no communication the shop suddenly refused to work on my car unless I had it towed back , claiming it was unsafe to drive , after letting me drive it home from the estimate !! . They also claimed to have lost the information from my insurance company .. I called my insurance company, who seemed at a loss for what this shop was doing , then after they called the shop, they said they would schedule an appointment with the shop and arrange a tow , only to find out later, caliber collision would refuse to work on my car regardless of tow... in short, caliber collision is highly unprofessional in just about every facet of the process, making contradictory statements , being completely unaware of where my vehicle was , taking a month to provide a simple initial estimate, apparently not communicating with my insurance company in any coherent way. I caaaaant imagine the terrible work that must be done on vehicles if they can't even handle simple paperwork and phone calls.. a complete waste of my time and money as I continue to need a loaner car.. Thanks caliber, I hope you have the day you deserve . Update my insurance company spoke with their shop and arranged a tow in and to start work ... they towed my car , then two and half weeks later call me and AGAIN ask me where my car Is , and AGAIN caliper collision refused to work on the car refusing to take it and didn't not communicate any of this to me or my insurance company which left my car , unknown to me, in the towing companies parking lot .. now over a month in a half in , I'm still having to choose a auto body place , tho the silver lining may be , that those clowns won't be working on my car .Which Is probably best for me or ANYONE who needs their car repaired...DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE, they are completely incompetent in even the simplest tasks. read more

MARK IS THE BEST! I could not say anything but amazing and positive things about him. He contacted me twice a week to give status updates on my car and really alleviated a lot of my stress. While I hope I don't need his services again, I have recommended Mark and Caliber in Bayville to all my friends and family. He's real genuine guy that goes out of his way for his customers. COVID did not stop Mark from hunting down my car parts along the east coast due to obvious delays and shortages. Donna at the front desk was also incredibly helpful during the process.
