This is by far the worst company I have ever delt with. They 'repaired' my car from a car accident. The insurance of the other driver sent my car to caliber collision. They had my car a long time and once I got it back and drove it away I could tell the job was done incorrectly. I called them back to tell them that I was bringing it back and asked them if my rental car was still there. She said no it had been returned. I called enterprise and they said it hadnt. And when I got back to calibur my rental car was still sitting there. Why would you lie about something so dumb? Anyways. I told them the car needed to be repaired correctly. And only one night they said what they said when I brought it back to them-There is nothing wrong. THEY GET THE MONEY FROM THE INSURANCE THEN THEY DONT FIX EVERYTHING SO THEY POCKET THE MONEY!!!!! My car shakes when I drive it and the bent/pushed back front tire wasnt fixed correctly either. I believe the rim is bent and wasnt replaced and my tires (that needed to be replaced) was filled with that goo fix a flat instead of being replaced. (so they could pocket more $$) The steering wheel pulls so hard to the right. And the more I drive it the worse it gets cause its still DAMAGED!!!!! Not to mention how many texts and emails I have gotten about leaving them a good review. After I told them I am not happy. So here I am leaving you all a review. The manager said that he was going to fill my gas up for the issues but his gas card wasnt working. So he bought me a starbucks card-I dont even drink startbucks ever! Anyways, I called friday and spoke to the same girl that lied to me about my rental car being returned and made an appointment for tueday. Then today, monday I get a call from Jesse the manager, asking me to call and confirm if I can come in tue or wed. WHAT!! I already made an appointment. And I have already brought the car back once to have them fix the same issues Im STILL dealing with. So at this point, I am so done dealing with this horrible company! I will be hiring a lawyer to sue them. And To anyone that wants to be part of what they have done to your car and the stress you have had to deal with because of them--- please message me!!!! Went here today for insurance estimate for bumper damage and separate estimate for other damage. I pointed out where dent was, as well as other previous damage on bumper and tailgate that I wanted repaired on separate out-of-pocket quote. He says, "well I'm not going to commit insurance fraud!" I said' "ok...I'm not asking you to commit insurance fraud, that other damage was mine and I want a separate quote to fix that. That's what I said when I called for appointment." Then we start talking about the dent related to claim, and twice again he says, "well I'm not gonna commit insurance fraud...". Now it's getting weird, and I'm getting annoyed. I said, "Look, can we knock it off with all the talk about insurance fraud. I'm not asking you to commit insurance fraud, I'm not accusing you of insurance fraud. How much is it to fix or replace the bumper?" He says, "well if that's your attitude then you can take your car elsewhere." I told him to get the F out of my way and I got in truck and left. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. I did not realize they were closed on Saturday, but they were working and came out and looked at my car anyways. On Monday I had an appointment and they took care of everything, including the rental car. They kept me up to date on the progress of the vehicle throughout the process. Not happy with the insurance estimate originally done he upped it without talking to me first. That caused trouble. Then they gave out information about my car to someone other than my insurance company. When I protested that he talked over me denying it (lying). I hung up at that point so he told me to come get my car. Didn't even clean off all his markings. The lady who answers the phone is kind and patient, but the shop floor is horrible to deal with. I'd advise against the place. I had my car picked up within a few hours, and they hadn't even cleaned off marks they made all over it. Greedy, rude, unprofessional. I never dreamed this repair process could have ever been this smooth. The staff at the Garden of the Gods location was so awesome to work with.... What a disappointment. We were rear ended, and USAA said that caliber was an approved shop. I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate. It was quite frustrating when I had an appointment and I waited longer to speak with an estimator than I did at the two other body shops, both of which I was a walk-in and didn't have an appointment. What's the point of having appointments if you're still going to make me wait. Already started off on the wrong foot. I already had two other estimates, 1 was from another USAA approved shop, and the second was from another body shop that wasn't USAA approved. Both other repair shops said that the tailgate needed to be replaced due to the extent of the damage and yet the estimator from Caliber insisted that the tailgate didn't need to be replaced, he also didn't look that thoroughly at it, he never bothered to look behind the license plate and kept telling me about the repairs was guaranteed and they'd fix it in the future. Well I'm not interested in having to go through the hassle of having my car repaired again and I asked him to not even prepare an estimate because I wasn't going to have them to a cut rate repair on my car. When I called USAA to tell them I had chosen the competitor, I was told that Caliber had already been assigned the repair. We had to go through a few hoops to stop this, I wouldn't let them repair my car half heartedly and do a really cheap job for the insurance. The reality is another USAA proved shop already wrote an estimate in which they said replace the tailgate, and yet a different shop who wasn't USAA approved also said to replace the tailgate. We ultimately decided to go with the other USAA approved shop since the scope of work matched and it is simpler dealing with them. But overall very disappointed in Caliber they wanted to do a cheap repair that wouldn't have restored my to the condition it was in prior to the accident, and I likely would have had issues a few years down the road. I would be very weary of these guys. Personally I always get at least 3 estimates, and when 2 estimates had the same scope of work, that established what is the proper procedures, and Caliber had a cut rate job. I don't even know how much they were charging because I already knew I didn't want them, but was very disappointed that the service was poor and I feel as they were deceitful in requesting the information from USAA as I absolutely don't want them working on my car. I hope that I'm never in need of a body shop again, but if I am, I won't even consider going to caliber, and would encourage others to abstain from them as well. Watch for a review in a few weeks after the repair is done on the competitor whom I chose to do the repairs. read more

Excellent work on my damaged CR-V. I called a Honda dealer and asked who they recommended to take my car to after sustaining damage when we hit a deer. They recommended Caliber Collision and we called the one off of Baptist Road. They did an excellent job on the repair and were helpful in explaining how to proceed. Went in for an estimate to replace clips that hold a rear spoiler in place. Receptionist was grouchy, then took 20+ minutes to have someone come out and look at my car, although three employees were in their offices on computers not helping anyone else. Took another 15 minutes to get a quote. Woman said they can't get just the clips from Honda, need to order an entirely new spoiler with clips, quote was $1000+ and can't get in for 3 weeks (the spoiler is a one hour job). Went to a different collision repair place and they said no problem, we can get just the clips to reattach the spoiler, not sure why Caliber told you they couldn't, we use the same system! $130 and they'll fit me into the schedule in 2 days! Update to owners response: Your quote was $1100 because you said you have to buy the spoiler and clips together, THIS IS A LIE! I went to Service King Collision...they said there's nothing wrong with the spoiler, I only need clips to attach it. I left there, as good as new, for $130! Please stop with the excuses! read more

Nationwide is NOT on my side. Calibers customer is Nationwide company, NOT me. I waited a week for a nationwide adjuster who never showed up, so they referred me to a preferred shop in the form of caliber. I was under the impression that caliber was acting as an adjuster who could perform an authorized claim estimate. My goal was to hire my Body Shop vendor who is out of network. My wife dropped off the vehicle and signed a form with fine print that hired caliber to do the work no matter what. Her signature also authorized caliber to charge storage on the vehicle. I went to the Copper Ctr location several months ago and didn't have an appointment. I had minor trim damage. A very nice gentleman, I believe Alex, so kindly looked at the damage and offered to repair it on the spot. He was very courteous and in fact didn't charge me. I took my car to Caliber on Copper Center Parkway. RIck worked with me and was very helpful and was great on keeping me informed. He worked very hard to keep the costs down. The people in the office were always professional when I went in or spoke to them. The work on the car was very good and I was pleased. They helped set up my rental and worked with me very much, given I was paying the repairs out of pocket. While some might not feel they are a good shop, my experience is that they did what they said they would do as quickly as they could and they did good work for as reasonable as price as they could. I believe I was pretty much lied to today by Caliber. I had a small bump of clear coat or paint left on my car after a January repair. I stopped in today (late Feb 2020) to have them buff it off. I had pointed out the spot when I picked up the car (after a January 2020 repair of the same area) and they said - no problem we will buff that out when our polish guy is here. Now today they took the car after seeing the spot. After 20 minutes they bring back the car and try to tell me that the mark has clear coat and for a fee they could do some work on the car. The raised spot is off and the spot on the car is smoother - it must be a MIRACLE as they claim they did no work on it. I said it was horse poop (another word) and got my keys. Liberty Mutual has been updated about this "customer service". I will not be back.... avoid them..... read more

Final verdict- as of today the left drivers' side front fender is a tight as the day it came off the assembly line! Caliber on Garden of the Gods and at Copper Center Parkway did not do their jobs properly when they had it the first time, second time, third time, fourth time etc. When I contacted the insurance company re: Calibur's lack of honoring their warranty the insurance company stepped in and said they would take it to Liberty Toyota to have it correctly repaired to factory specs and They, insurance company, would pay for all of it! Interesting, 2 Plus years through Caliber and they absolutely never did the repair correctly. One time at the Liberty Toyota and they fixed it perfectly and correctly. Gives me comfort to tell someone NOT to use Caliber Collision as they will NOT stand behind their warranty!l Plus, most insurance companies would never have done what mine did and take it into their own hands and get the car repaired correctly at their cost. I just had a wonderful experience with the Copper Center location in Colo Spgs. They listened to what the issues were and then looked over the damaged area and wrote up an estimate. When I brought the car in, I added a bumper repair and they said no problem, we can add that in the job, recommending that a repair was less expensive than a replacement. I was called about every 2 days with a progress report and they took 9 days to do the work. It is beautiful! All the people I met were extremely nice and understanding, straightforward and honest. I felt very comfortable leaving my car in their hands and my trust in them was rewarded with superb workmanship. Thank you so much! read more

I waited for a few months before my review just so I don't write an unfair one out of anger. I took my car in to repair some scratches on the left front corner and the right rear. When I went to pick it up, I noticed scar marks on both panels between the front and back doors. When I pointed them out, Robert, the guy who had been emailing me about the repair progress and everything, said that they were there when the car was dropped off. I told him that if they were there, I would have told them to repair them too in the first place. He got the manager. She came out and said that they had these scar marks in the pictures that they took when the car was dropped off and that she could show me if I would like to see them. I would. The pictures in her computer didn't show the mark. She claimed that the marks didn't show up well in the pictures. Robert also challenged me with 'Do you not shop at Walmart?' I said I did. He insisted that these marks were from other cars opening into my car. That was funny because for that claim to be true, other cars would have to open into my car on both sides and hit my car at evenly spaced points, with the same force to leave those evenly spaced and equally deep marks. Eventually they fixed the marks for free but the manager made sure that I understood that there was no warranty on the repair. They are a bad place. Rude and dishonest. read more

While there saw a team take a car out the bay and witnessed the employees saying that it looked like crap but no way the customer was going to know. Also they don't bother closing their dumpsters and trash from their business blows into a field behind their business making the whole area look like trash. Had to take my new Tesla X to get some hail damage repaired. Tesla was giving them a run around on some parts needed and they went above and beyond out of their way by having their own employee from a Denver location drive over to Tesla get the parts and drive them down to the Springs to get my car finished by the weekend. Tom even went as far as bringing me my sons car seat to my house after he realized it was left in the car. We bought a 2008 Audi A8L with 70k miles just purchased from Denver Audi for my son that is in the Air Force Academy, way cheaper than tuition!! This car had no prior accidents, and was in immaculate condition. On 2/22/2017, I was driving the car and a lady hit the rear quarter panel and back door. I called insurance immediately and they suggested Caliber Collision. I took the car in, they gave an estimate, took the money from insurance, then said that they can't take it now because they had to many drive ups and the soonest available was one month later. I took it in a month later and every week I got an update that they found something else and had to order a part from Germany. First the door, then a clip, then a pocket, then a strip... don't they take the car apart and determine parts need and order all at once, especially if parts are coming from Germany! Anyway, when I received the car 6 weeks later, the Audi was in worse condition! There was a quarter inch gap between the front and back door, uneven spacing with the taillight, the car was originally blacked out and they returned it with the chrome strips on the doors unpainted, the front speaker and pocket were cracked and broken, the rear pocket was broken, window tint and panel between the front and back door were heavily scratched, grommets were missing from the trunk molding, the bottom flairs were loose, the chrome strip on the front door was offline and bending every time the door was opened. The general manager came out and when I started by pointing out the chrome strip and she had the audacity to tell me that it was after market and my responsibility to pay them extra to paint it to match the rest of the car. My question, shouldn't a car be returned in the condition it was before the accident. She said not in this case. I contacted my insurance and they told Caliber to paint the strips (I have the documentation of the request of my insurance telling Caliber to paint the strips). A couple weeks later I needed the car and they told me it was near done, and we're in April now. When I picked it up, the GM came out again and pointed out what a great job they did. She went on to say that they went above and beyond to paint the chrome strips as a courtesy, did she not know that I know that insurance told them to paint it?!? Same spacing in the door, flairs were still loose, rear pocket broken, tint scratched... all they had done was fix the front pocket and replace the speaker grill! She then said that they totally detailed my car while the door was open and there were white chalky hand and finger prints all over the black door. I pointed and smiled and she shrugged it off. I called insurance and they had me take the car to another shop as all confidence was lost in Calibers ability to repair the Audi. Phil Long collision, they sell and repair Audi's, pointed out about 15 other things wrong, like the molding on the roof line was bent, trunk spacing was off, primer over spray in the wheel wells, grommets and screws missing in the wheel wells, and the chrome strip that they were forced to paint was still off line and scratching the car when opened, the side molding was warping... There was quite a bit more. I have before and after pictures that I will post. We sponsor 7 cadets, they saw the progression and how horrible of a job that was done on my sons car. They are spreading the word at AFA, DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO CALIBER!! We gave them 2 chances, they miserably failed both times and the GM's attitude was horrible. read more

Caliber did a phenomenal job repairing my car after it got scraped in a parking lot. They finished faster than originally expected and the work is absolutely flawless. They fixed both the new damage and a much older ding on the other side of the bumper blending both in seamlessly. The price they quoted for the extra work was very reasonable and then wound up being even lower than planned when I picked the car up. They kept me up to date on their progress the whole time and were always very polite and helpful. Can't give this place enough stars. The definition of customer service. They did a custom install of a wheelchair tailgate ramp with no problems, and a "can-do" attitude. The mobility place in town wouldn't touch the lift "it's 10yrs old, metal has gone bad" uhh ya sure, ok. Meanwhile Caliber installed it in 15mins no problems and working perfectly since. I cannot recommend them. Tom, the shop representative was not pleasant to work with, bordering on rude and not really willing to work with you. They quoted me one price. I had several quotes and went with them because of a recommendation even though they were not the lowest. Right off the bat, they said the part they quoted me is out of stock and the only one available is $120 more. Terrible customer service. We brought our vehicle in for a mechanical problem with our driver's side door. After the mechanic fixed the mechanical problem, he caused an electrical problem with the connection between the door and the vehicle. The manager refused to take responsibility for the problem, and acted as if we caused it. The electrical connection was working fine before they performed the mechanical maintenance on the door. The manager was very rude, arrogant, and condescending. This is not how customers should be treated when it is Calibar Collision's poor workmanship caused the problem. I'm surprised that USAA has approved this place. read more
