Highly disappointed and at this point very frustrated. I have kept my cool and been very respectful trying to give the benefit of the doubt with ( Edgar ) but now it's gotten to the point where I'm going to escalate everything he has done from the start. I was t-bone by another vehicle. The car that hit me insurance company gave me a list of body shops I can take my car for all the repairs. Well for some reason I picked this shop because it had wonderful reviews and pretty much 5 stars! Worst mistake people ! Me being a girl thinking everything would be smooth nope ! This is completely a nightmare. Edgar took full advantage of this situation and thought oh she's a girl she don't know nothing.... I dropped off my vehicle Friday I understand nothing was going to be done over the weekend which is fine but this is a where everything starts going wrong after a week of the car being in there shop I got a call from Edgar saying no one had the light in stock so they had to order it and it would take some time but what he was going to do was put in the old light that way I can get my car back and not be in the rental I agreed I said that's fine as long as you give me in written or some kind of paper work stating what he told me. Well he proceed to tell me that they were waiting for 3rd party company to come do the " calibration " on the old light okay no problem waited.... 2 days go by and I don't get a update on my car. Calibration should not take an extra week ! He kept sending me text messages saying the car wouldn't be ready as there still waiting for the 3rd party company to do the calibration on the old light ! This is where I finally decided what is going on with my car ! As I pull into the shop I see my vehicle parked like it's been ready for over a week I immediately walk to the back of the shop to look at. I inspected the light. It was a completely new light ! As the old light had a big scratch and crack. So Edgar lied to me about this whole situation with my light saying no one had the light in stock I'm still trying to understand why he did that. It only gets worse from here. I leave the shop with my vehicle that's been finished thinking well atleast I don't have to bring it back everything is fixed. W R O N G ! I then notice the emblem on the front bumper looks completely off ! It's not even put on right it's not even straight ! I start question myself why was the emblem even touched or messed with if I was t-boned on the right side. Well next day I take it back to him. Have him walk out with me and tell him ( Edgar ) you see the emblem on my vehicle look how it looks completely off not even put on right ! Well he goes a grabs the guy that I'm assuming worked on my car. They proceeded to fix it right there infront of me not to mention before I even brought it to him I went to Hyundai to make sure I wasn't in the wrong and had a employee explain to me how the emblem goes. So Edgar and the other guy remove it and proceeded to fix it well the forced them emblem back in ! If it doesn't go in with having to force it doesn't that mean it's not correct piece. !! I told them those clips do not match the bumper and emblem. They still forced it in there ! I let it go..... well there's more ! As I'm walking up to my car the next day where direct sunlight is hitting my car tell me why the trim on my car does not match the rest of my car now I have a brand new car that I purchased not even 4 months ago with different color trim. I took it back to him and showed him look how terrible this looks ! He said he would order the correct parts from Hyundai and send it out to the adjuster insurance company so they can approve the new parts ! I called the insurance company and spoke to the adjuster and let him know everything that was going on from the start as he wasn't even aware of all this ! The adjuster from the insurance company told me let's give him a chance to make this right if things don't get fixed or he isn't responding I will get involved and we can speak to someone higher then him. Well Edgar it's now been 3 weeks. I had to contact you regarding what's going to happen with the car and parts I have not heard or gotten an update. When I spoke to him 2 weeks ago he gave me the same excuse saying the parts are out of stock he will contact me the parts get here. Terrible customer service terrible communication skills and mainly sloppy job was done ! Very frustrating at this point I'm being scammed and being brushed under the rug. I will seek legal action regarding all this. Be aware of this shop. If your a women make sure your not alone always bring someone that knows about things like this. read more

Took my Toyota in to have a dent in the back door repaired. Wasn't really worried about cost since it was covered by my insurance. I was worried that my insurance company had recommended it and that it might be because of cost. Well that was disproved when they advised me the estimate showed just repairing the door and because the inner brace was damaged they recommend a replacing the whole door. They then dealt with the insurance company and completed the work on schedule. One of the best things is the service tech sends updates via text on the progress of the repair regularly. You do not honor your word and yes it's to be expected if you are sitting in the office and the phone is in your hand all day. Call me back if you say you will. I do not recommend this place. The front desk lady is very rude, and Edgar does not care for customers. They work with the insurance carrier to make up repairs that the car doesn't need in order to determine the car as totaled. They charged me 6 hours of labor for almost $300 just to tear down the front head lights. read more

EDITED: THEY ARE TAKING CARE OF THIS ISSUE! WOW! I had a very minor dent in one panel and scrapes on one panel and the bumper on my Mini Cooper and this is a GEICO-approved collision shop. It was returned to me with decent repairs and paint, BUT ALSO with a chip from the paint on the hatch door which I am positive was not there when I brought the vehicle in. Sadly I won't be able to prove this for the "lifetime warranty" on the work because I don't have a "before" photo of adjacent panels, just of the panels that needed the work. All I'm saying is, buyer beware and take your own photos of not just the damage but the areas around the damage because you may come away with this unhappy result. read more

Walked in last week to get an estimate and wasn't greeted. The girl at the front desk was surly and seemed more interested in being on her cell phone than helping me. Really poor first impression of the place, which didn't used to be the case. My family and I had brought 4 cars here to be repaired in the past with excellent work. Brought one in after a couple years and have been completely let down. I'm now back at the shop for the 5th time because of the quality of the repairs. This was no major accident, it was purely cosmetic. I am now being told to take it with my insurance company as if they made the repairs. The service here has gone completely down hill. Do not bring your car here unless you want a bigger headache than you got from the accident. First, we have to acknowledge that even if you are a smart and safe driver you still can be the victim of an accident unfortunately. A woman crashed into the back of my Versa on September 7th while I was trying to just make it in time to get those delicious Chik-fil a minis. I can't complain because I was physically unharmed. My car however was not. After what seemed like hurdle after hurdle with the at fault's insurance company, I called Caliber Collision and got Austin on the line. He was exceptionally positive and calming! He shifted the direction of things; and by things I mean the fear/stress/anxiety of being hit, and not being sure how this will all work out. Rest assured, Austin works to be amazing and thrives on providing excellent customer service. Every single question I had he answered and maybe answered more than once because my memory is horrible. I'll never miss an opportunity to recommend someone here. The positive energy is infectious and You'll be in great hands from the entire staff here! Went in as a private pay because the damage was just a tad over insurance deductible on a collision claim. Jason was the service tech. Very personable. Came in $100 over estimate. Good work, and the car was returned clean and well looked after. Only gripe was the failure to update about the cost overrun while the work was in progress. Finished the work in less than a week. Overall a good experience. Would recommend if you have a wreck where you don't want to go through insurance and your deductible is close to the damage estimate. read more

We recently had our vehicle repaired here after an accident and were beyond impressed with every step of the process. The estimate was super fast and reasonable and our car was ready several days before expected. When we picked up our car it had been washed and detailed inside and out (very unexpected and not an extra charge!) and looked fantastic. Caliber Collision was first named repair center as it has a relationship with USAA, the person's insurance company. We got a rental that was a pleasure to drive since our car is on the old side. I brought the car to Caliber Collision on Preston Road in Frisco. Andy Ginn wrote an estimate on the car, and as we both expected the car was a total loss. Andy went way above and beyond in helping with this. Since the car was totaled, he made no money. He must have spent at least 1 or 2 hours on this and went out of his way to help me. He is obviously extremely knowledgeable and a very good person as well. If I have any collision damage in the future I know where to take my car. I recently had my Kia Optima repaired at Caliber Collision, and I have to say their customer service was incredible, particularly Chris May, who was my main contact the entire time. One of my biggest gripes with most body shops/mechanics is how much of a pain it can be to find out the status of your car. True to his word, every Tuesday and Thursday I'd receive update calls from Chris. My car was there for two weeks, and not once did I ever have to worry about what was going on. There were a couple of things related to my car that I was really stressed out about, and Chris went the extra mile to help alleviate those concerns. I've been to a few body shops in my lifetime in different parts of the US, and by far this has been my best experience ever. These guys know how to keep their customers happy and coming back through their doors. I don't know how this place can get one star. I've unfortunately been here TWICE in the past 6 mos. (someone hit me, and then I hit someone. Ugh) and both times I've been in, the results have been amazing. I got into a car accident the day before Thanksgiving and right after the crash, drove my barely driveable car to them all the way from Lewisville. I wouldn't take it anywhere else. Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted, taken care of by Josh and put into an Enterprise Rentacar. Amazing. My car was ready a week later, and due to the ice storm I couldn't pick it up until yesterday. My car was vacuumed out, cleaned, and looks good as new. This is the second time in a year I've had to deal with a repair shop and this time the experience was much more positive. Quote was submitted in the same day and they didn't return the car until it had passed QC. Unlike the previous place that not only failed to buff part of the paint, attach the badge but they they also damaged the top of the hatchback door. I was made promise after promise that the repair, which was warrantied insurance work, would be handled in a timely manner and all repairs were covered. After 3 weeks of being promised I was told the part was costly and would not be covered. This was surprising since we were told that they had pre-approval for the repair and that they had it handled. Damage: Hail damage on roof and hood of 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Required to replace roof and hood completely. Pros: provide updates on your car, friendly customer service, quick drop offs and pick ups for your vehicle, communication is good Cons: poor paint job, estimated time of completion is very delayed, sloppy repairs I had to take it back due to many damages done to vehicle while it was it was in process of getting fixed i.e. Clear paint splatters Inside and outside of vehicle, new scratches and damages to parts that were not there, damaged trim on window, all minor issues, but built up bc it was everywhere. Also, my rear view camera was damaged and was not working so they had to bring it to Toyota which was an extra delay. Conclusion: I dropped off my vehicle 06/21 and did not get it back until 08/17... I was completely patient and understanding as to the extent of how much work needed to be done, but regardless it should have been done properly the first time and reviewed thoroughly before giving it back. It caused me a lot of stress and frustration and once I had my insurance involved to contact the site manager, they at least owned it and finally returned my car in a better condition. They reviewed the car with me thoroughly and repaired all the minor damages that was done and more. I recommend that they check repairs for quality assurance prior to giving it back to the customer, this would save a lot of time for not just the customer, but for their business as well. read more
