I can handle rude, I can handle expensive, I can handle some ineptitude. But I respect a shop that will refuse work that isn't proper. I went with her and got an estimate and decided to pay out of pocket. Gave them a deposit to get parts ordered. Never heard another word from them....called the owner and she said the car would be ready today. Called them up, spoke with Luke.....Not the guy who wrote estimate because he no longer works there. Luke said they needed $43 worth of parts that estimate missed...ok..no big deal...but then he proceeded to tell me the bill went up $843 because the parts went up! I said wait, I gave you a deposit to order parts and pricing should have been guaranteed. He said no it doesnt. I asked him for a discount on price of parts like they were being bought by an outside shop who never pays full price. He said no. Rob Cochran, If you went to Ruths Chris and ordered a Filet and menu says $56 and then you got bill and it said $89 what would you think? Transparency.....Nope. Before I really get into bashing Cochran, I will give someone there who makes these posts an opportunity to make this right......So, please make it right.
