The repair was done fairly well and would say I'm satisfied, the office people were super nice and updated me often during my repair. However upon receiving my truck back after a week and a half total there were dirty rags left in it along with half empty water bottles. Also the day after getting my truck back the batteries in my truck completely died, mind you it was taken in for service a week before brought into caliber collision where the batteries were tested and came back completely fine. So now the truck is completely dead in the driveway and won't even jump start. It's currently being towed to a dealership where I'll have to purchase new batteries. Not sure if the shop had let the truck die but it seems as in the time they had it the batteries were drained at one point. read more

I regret coming to Caliber Collision. Here's why: I booked with Caliber through my insurance, as they were part of Allstate's trusted partner network. At first, I was feeling good about that decision. What could go wrong? Well, it turns out a lot. Upon dropping off my truck, I did the walk-around with Patricio, my service advisor. I told him what the damages were from the claim (I was lightly t-boned), and also other small scratches and dents that I wanted to get an estimate on. Patricio said he would provide one. But, this never happened. I did get an updated estimate that somehow came back higher than their original, but it wasn't higher because they were including the other work. They just figured out some clever ways to charge me more than they originally planned to, so they could get more out of my insurance company. I don't blame them for that, but it was disappointing to not only have an estimate on the extra work, but also to not have it done at all. And beyond that work not being done, they didn't even bother to wash my truck, so the little wax pen marks were still all over my truck. But that's not all. Hours earlier, I got not only a text message, but a phone call telling me my car was ready for pick up. I was stoked, and I called them back and headed over as quickly as I could. When I got there, no one walked me through the repair work, or discussed anything with me at all about the job--they just told me how much I owed. In the moment, I didn't think too much of it, because I had yet to see the truck, I was assuming that everything was done and done well. To my surprise, the exterior was just the beginning. I noticed that my tonneau cover was folded open for some weird reason, so I looked back there to make sure my utility caddy was back there, and it wasn't. Neither was my beach shade. I was not stoked to see this, but I figured they must have left those things in the back seat. Nope! They left them in the FRONT seat. That super dirty, truck-bed-worthy utility box was unceremoniously placed on the leather passenger seat. Not the biggest deal in and of itself, but then I started noticing all of the garbage everywhere in my truck, and worse, how it was obvious that someone rifled through all of my things: the console, the glovebox, and my little open caddy in the back seat. So, that's when I realized that Caliber Collision stole from me. They stole things that were of no substantial monetary value, but make no mistake: THEY STOLE MY STUFF. Stuff like actual money--like parking change, car wash cards, and other small change things--but also they stole all of the small gadgets and tools and personal notes and things of that nature. How much value does a personal note have? They clearly dug through my glovebox as well, even snapping off of the shelf supports that I had to reinstall myself. And what made matters worse was that they escalated this to the GM, who came to talk to me, and ultimately he shirked responsibility. "You shouldn't judge the entire business on one employee's actions," he told me. Oh really? WRONG, homie. The problems come from the top--every time. If someone is stealing that works for you, and you don't stop it--well, that's on you. Hate to break it to you, bud. I know that I signed a waiver saying that I wouldn't leave any thing of value in the truck, and truthfully I really didn't--I left things in there that I figured NO ONE would be tempted to steal or trifle with. Things that live in all of our consoles and gloveboxes and caddies. Again, how valuable is a personal note from your wife? Or something you wrote down about a project? So, when Caliber says don't leave valuables in your car, they mean pretty much don't leave anything at all--even gum! They'll steal it. They stole mine. It's weird! I don't even care about the gum or the change or the stuff--I care that they tolerate their employees stealing from their customers AT ALL. In exchange for sticking to the waiver policy, Caliber Collision lost a customer for life, and I will strongly recommend to everyone I know to go ANYWHERE other than Caliber in the future, and I am going to recommend that Allstate re-think their alliance with Caliber as well. It's not a good look to work with thieves, and people that protect thieves in the name of "policy." On the upside, they have good repair technicians, and from the sound of what the GM told me, they get paid VERY well (so, they would NEVER steal from a car they are working on. Well, case closed, then!). The repair work was done well, and they did it pretty fast. And their relationship with Enterprise is convenient, as they'll come pick you up to start, and let you leave the rental at Caliber to finish. That's convenient. Unbelievably bad experience! Never going back. A stunning lack of professionalism. But hey--at least the body work is decent. read more

My experience is beyond poor. I have been waiting for a part for more than 7 months. They called and said the part is here and ready to install. I took the car, and 5 hours later, I called. They told me they could not work on my car. As of today, they have never called me back or anything. Good thing, when I picked up the car, I marked in the form that the bumper part was missing. I don't even know where to begin, except I wish I could give 10 stars - Caliber Collision is the BEST body shop I have dealt with in my 30 years of driving. Being a woman, sometimes I tend to feel like places try to take advantage of me, but not here!!! I was 1 of 6 cars that collided on I-95 in January, and I brought my car to Caliber Collision because they were recommended by USAA my insurance company. From the beginning Andre was beyond accommodating! Got my van in for service the day I brought it in, worked with enterprise for my rental car. The constant contact was so thoughtful and appreciated. I never wondered what was going on with my van; I don't know that I can say that with any other body shop I've ever used (In 30 yrs, I've used a few to say the least). When my van was finished, I was able to leave my rental car there and drove my van home. When I noticed some additional issues, a week later, I called back and Andre got me to Carlo, the service manager. To be honest I was a little worried but once again, they were beyond accommodating; took my van back in, even apologized, and got it back into the shop to figure out what was wrong. He went above and beyond the call of duty by getting me back into a rental car so that I didn't have to miss any work. Carlo, just like Andre, kept in constant communication with me and filled me in on what was going on with my van. Just amazing!!!! I have never felt so comfortable dealing with a body shop. I can't recommend Caliper Collision enough!! So, to the lovely receptionist (I'm sorry!! I wrote a review in December describing poor management but review has disappeared from Yelp. Update. My car was repaired in Dec. 2020 and was not ready when notified. They could not address an electrical problem so I took the vehicle to a Ford dealer and they explained that the electrical problem was due to a loose battery connection (any mechanic should have checked this). The reason I am writing a second review is the fact that they replaced a damaged tire with a discontinued tire manufactured in 2016. I just decided to replace the other 3 tires but Michelin advised me that there is no tire compatible with the discontinued tire so I had to replace all 4--including the "new" one. For the price of the old tire that they charged my insurance company, I paid only twice the amount for 4 brand new tires. I do not recommend this company because of this shady service--to me and my insurance company. Sorry to be negative but there are many other service options. read more

I had a minor incident involving my tailgate on my 2019 3500 Ram. This occurred on Saturday March 20th. I chose Caliber for their proximity to me and being a preferred collision repair with my insurance. My dilemma was the tailgate would need to be replaced and I needed all of this work completed and back to me no later than April 1st. Andre and the team were fabulous, I got the truck in for a review on Monday the 22nd, went over all the repair would entail and my very limited timeline. On Tuesday they called me that they had the new tailgate but local Linux dealer could not do my tailgate until MID-APRIL! After phone calls their manager brought my tailgate to the Ft. Pierce Linux dealer on his way home and picked it up a day later on his way back to the shop in Royal Palm. They did the rest of the work and I had my new tailgate installed on the 29th!!! I would recommend this shop as they performed a small miracle that required terrific team work. I hope I never have to use them again but if the need arises I certainly will. read more

Everything about dealing with them was smooth sailing... rental car ready and waiting; job completed when promised; regular communication; a plan of attack for an unusual problem; and a team that was dedicated to making me happy. John was the head of the team that was always looking for answers and not giving up on a solution. My situation was unusual, not your usual auto body crash, there was gasoline spilled inside the car. When the smell didn't go away easily, they tried a new approach. I think most people would have given up and told me it will go away, but not John. Very upset after I took my truck here. First it took more than a month and a half to just drop my truck off as they kept pushing back my appointment date. Then after I dropped it off the finish date kept getting moved back as well. After it was finally don't I went and picked it up and still had issues with it. Now it's been 2 or 3 months or so and there are paint issues as well as a few other issues that should have been fixed. They sent an email asking if I was happy and if I wasn't happy they would fix anything that wasn't right. I still haven't heard back and it was more than 2 months ago. This is one of the worse body shop I ever experienced with. I am not sure how GEICO work or deal with this company. So I needed a minor repair on the rear end bumper. GEICO my insurance company told me if I take the car to this shop, they will bill GEICO directly and also will provide me with a rental car. Well not a bad deal since I can drop the car and pickup a rental car. 2 days later they called me to pick up my car. Suddenly I noticed half of the left side has a darker color paint. After spoke with the supervisor as why you painted the door and the color is darker, his answer was that it must be due to the surrounding lights or sun. I ask him to call the manager. After manger came he agreed so he told me sometimes this happens because the car already has a clear coat and painting over it will make it a little darker. I said Seriously? I never knew you suppose to paint over clear coat? Anyway he told to bring it back on Sat and he will have it fix and have it ready by Monday. Took the car back to the shop on Sat and no word from them on Monday. Call the shop and seems nobody started to work on the car. Called Tuesday and nothing. Finally after calling GEICO complaining and etc they called me back on Wed. and told me the car is ready. So now 5 days with no car and they didn't give me a rental this time. Wed I went there and the shop manager told me they buffed it and should be good to go. When he brought the car it was still the same color and it seems like they didn't even touch it. About the only good thing I can say is that the person who applied the paint did a great job. That said: none of the door guard panels that were removed and painted separately would stay flat after being reinstalled. I returned 3 times for warranty work, and each time they came loose again within days. The new manager offered to order new ones, as the old ones had apparently been "bent" when the were removed. He never called to say they were in, and I finally gave up, bought 3M trim adhesive and did the job at home. They have not given me any trouble since. I have also discovered that my front grill, which they replaced, has missing attach screws. Further, they removed trim pieces that house the rear door locks, and now the locks don't work. Overall, very sloppy detail work that spoiled the experience of an otherwise good paint job. read more
