It takes a lot to impress me, but Bryant at BSO automotive did so today! I took my mother to go get her car evaluated as her engine was shaking. Firestone told her that she needed five different engine mounts and it was going to cost about $1,500. I told her she needed to get a second opinion so we went to BSO automotive together. Immediately, we were greeted by a very friendly man named Bryant, who I believe is the owner. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. He had me get behind the wheel and rev the engine a few times as he watched the engine. He said that only two mounts were bad! And he explained why he knew that. We were very lucky as he was able to fit us in that morning, and a couple hours later, and more than half the price, my mom's car was good as new! Bryant knew what she was bringing the car in for, and what she was told at Firestone. He could have easily just come in a couple hundred dollars under that and taken her for a ride. His honesty and integrity meant a lot to me and to my mother. He even drove us to Lake Ave so we could walk around while he worked on the car, and offered to pick us up! They were on time (actually opened a little early) went right to work, removed and broke down the tires to install TPM Sensors on my trailers 4 tires, put the tires back on and paired with my truck. Everything works great. The work was done with quality and efficiently, great work ethic. The price was a fraction of the price quoted by a mobile tire service and much less than "Big Box" tire shops. I always like talking directly to the owner and mechanic to discuss what needs to be done and get their feedback and input. Communication was excellent. Ok, I drive a Maserati. I love the car. I hate repairing it. Needed new belts serpentine and alternator. Dealer prices are ridiculous and others won't touch it because they don't know how to work on a maserati. I do my due diligence, checking around quotes. Bryant gave me the best price. I am selling my car so I don't want to spend tons just to get rid of it. He gave me a quote and I brought it in. Paid exactly what he told me and fixed no problem. I'll bring all my cars to him. Note: As for the one review about the person expecting a quote over the phone. Sometimes a mechanic can and sometimes they can't give quotes over the counter phone. They want to be sure of the problem then bring it in to them. But you would rather make sure that it is what it is wrong then have it not fixed properly.
