They fixed the bumper and, in the process, they damaged the front hood of my car because they were negligent and touched it up with a very bad paint job. Our auto insurer told us "you can't file a claim for faulty repair work." Yes, their exact words - after paying over $15k to JaDi Auto Recon. Jadi Auto Recon was the shop that did the faulty repair work. Jon, the owner, had originally told us it would take 2-3 weeks, and they ended up with our car for 2 1/2 months. They kept it so long, insurance would not cover further rental charges because "it is abnormally excessive. " Little to no communication on their end. They never answered the phone after they had our car. They never called back after we left messages asking for updates. They did finally respond, but only after being threatened with police involvement and a criminal complaint. Some facts: At first, JD communicated that the initial delays (Beyond the first three weeks ) were due to difficulty in finding parts that the insurer required. That proved to be a lie. The carrier had already approved their estimate that included the parts that JD specified. The carrier did not require any specialized parts. Once we were told that, and Jon was confronted with that information, is when they stopped communicating with us. Another almost 2 weeks went by, and Jon did not respond to any of our calls and voicemails. He likewise stopped communicating with the insurance claims person. That's when the insurance carrier stopped the rental car coverage because it was abnormally excessive. At that point, we left a voicemail for Jon telling him if we did not hear from him we would be calling the police. Only then did he respond, and he was nasty. Worse however, our car was nowhere near completion. 5 weeks out. Because we insisted, Jon sent us photos of the vehicle just to prove that he still had possession of it. The car was completely apart. Not a chance we were getting it back "soon". More lies. At 6 weeks out, I flew 1,500 miles to drive it back, as Jon said it would be ready by the week's end. It was not. Another lie. Instead, by complete and total coincidence, I walked by the car at a completely different shop. I knew it was my vehicle due to the bumper stickers. No explanation from Jon other than it "needed more mechanical work", that he did not do. What??!! This was all news to us. He had never previously represented that his shop wasn't going to be doing all the work, Or that another entity even had possession of our vehicle. I had to book another flight home (number 2) because I couldn't drive the car. If it had been drivable at that point, I would've actually taken it from him and not let him do another thing on the car. But it was still inoperable. When the car was finally "ready" and I went to pick it up (third flight - all out of pocket) there was a little dust on the front windshield. So, pushed button for the wipers/washer....and, nothing. They then checked it out - washer motor not working, need a new one. They went to pick one up and two hours later the car "was ready." Good thing I tried the wipers when I got there. The check from the other driver's insurance company was a two party check, according to that insurer. I asked about the check I need to sign, JaDi told me "nothing to sign, it's all been taken care of." So, I think they forged my signature on it. He refused to provide that paperwork. I drove the car back up north, took a couple of days. After getting home, I noticed that the front fender and side fender were separating, and the whole hood was crooked. We took the car to a repair shop and under the hood - broken parts, bad parts, aftermarket parts that didn't fit (when the insurer had paid for OEM parts.) That shop refused to do any repair work because it was so messed up. Flat out - they warned us that it was highly unlikely that anyone reputable would agree to do any further repairs to the car because of what Jon had done. Meanwhile, JaDi refused to provide us their list of all work that they had actually done. Indeed, what we do know now is that while he quoted OEM parts, what was installed were not OEM parts. Fraud. Insurance Fraud. Consumer fraud. That is why the hood will not align appropriately, and why other parts were snapping off. To fix it correctly, everything that was done by Jon would need to be taken out and redone with correct parts. No insurance won't pay for faulty, workmanship, and repairs. Finally, with the help of the Lexus dealer, we found an auto repair shop that would agree to provide some repairs, sufficient so that parts wouldn't keep snapping off, and the vehicle would be operable. But even now, warning lights go off in the car. Each time we bring it back, the Lexus dealer finds another defective part installed by JaDi. Out of pocket another $3,000 so far. Long story short, run away fast and do not hesitate. JaDi is a scam. We are going to the State of Florida for his license. He is a fraud and a scammer. He lies more in his response. read more

Jonathan and his guys are simply THE BEST!!! It's never a good day when you need an auto body shop, but JADI makes the experience about as pleasant as possible, but beyond that, their work is impeccable and the pricing is terrific!! I've had cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles and even boats throughout my life, and sadly, I've needed work done from time to time, but JADI has been the best shop hands down that I've worked with from Malibu, to Texas, to Chicago, New York, the Carolinas, Ohio, and more (I've lived all over). They go above and beyond every time, are thorough with their work, will fight the insurance companies if need be, and ultimately deliver a finished product that I believe is better than the big car shops that like to position themselves as the best. Bigger is not always better and JADI proves that time and again. I hope I never need an auto body shop again, but in the likelihood that I do, as long as I'm within 40-50 miles of JADI, the cars will always go here. Oh, and I've had my BMWs there as well as my high end 911's, and the work has always stood up well, both on the street and the track. This shop is the best!! read more

This recent time, they repaired some dings on the passenger side roof pillar, fixed a small tear in the front bumper panel, and repainted the hood. Red is a difficult color to properly match. I would give a negative number if that were an option. The first time they had my vintage truck. they did an amazing job with the paint so I trusted them when I had some front end damage. Not only did they have my truck for almost 8 months the damage and neglect shown by them cost me over $6000 to repair it!! I suppose it's my fault for giving them the insurance money upfront. Lesson learned. Not only did he leave the cover off my car to weather all the elements for eight months, he literally slapped the wrong parts in there and didn't even bother to put a fan cover over the incorrect radiator he installed... as well as cutting numerous other corners and pocketing the cash. When I picked up the car, he told me that the stereo was draining my battery and reached underneath my dashboard and physically pulled wires out and threw them on the ground and laughed. Upon leaving the shop I stopped for gas and needed to jumpstart my car not even 6 minutes after I had picked it up . If you have any vehicle that you value, I suggest you take it elsewhere... a nasty and unprofessional and untruthful response was always the expected outcome of this review and I am not phased by it read more

They are honest, hard-working, incredibly professional, timely, and proud of their work (as they should be). I saw a review of a Tahoe that had similar damage that I had done to my boyfriend's Sierra - and their before and after pictures sealed the deal. Less than 24hrs ago I got a message from the owner of this shop telling me "I suck ass" and another note saying that I am a fake customer. Let's clarify, I AM NOT A FAKE CUSTOMER. I was in an accident on turnpike, the bumper of my car and door were damaged and had to be replaced and I went to this shop for the repair. Had a TERRIBLE experience, the owner only agreed to redo the work because I was a close friend to a very important client otherwise my car would not have been taken back to be properly repaired. I want to honestly say I was really miserable during this terrible experience which took much longer than it should have and gave me plenty of headaches. To top it all off, months later I am getting this very insulting message from the owner of this shop named Jonathan.
