My car got hit recently and it was my first time navigating an insurance claim and getting work done on my car. My insurance company gave me their preferred local shops and Caliber Collision was their choice, this particular location was closest to my home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once I notified insurance of my choice of body shop, Caliber Collision contacted me right away to schedule a time to check out the damage and bring it in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were flexible with me and ordered the parts and let me know when they were in so I could keep using my car as long as possible before dropping it off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Darcy kept me updated and they were great at sending text updates and calling for big updates.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We brought the car in on a Monday morning and they went to work. I was updated early in the process that once the bumper came off they saw a few more damaged spots and they were able to order additional parts as needed, while working with our insurance. By Thursday evening our car was ready and we were able to pick it up Friday morning, the same week we dropped it off- which was earlier than expected. They made my first experience working with a body shop a painless one and my car looks as good as new. While I originally thought the damage was all superficial, I feel better knowing they were able to look a bit deeper, fix all the issues, and make sure my car is as safe as possible. So, this is the 1st Review I have ever done since.. heck I guess before the internet and you had the ability to "write reviews". lol but seriously. I went in there for something that I knew was going to be a rather rough job. BAD back right fender damage from getting side swiped. They where working sooo hard to work with insurance company as they were being difficult. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The insurance told me I could pic out any new running boards that I wanted.. which was really cool and they patiently waited until I picked them out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There also was some items in the bed of the truck that were not there when it came back from getting the new bed put in and the manager Jesus ask what it was and right away went out and replaced what was missing that day! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They knew that I always was needing to get to my Law Office on time, so always had someone taking me or coming to pick me and go get my rental that my insurance (Thank God) covered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Darcey and Jesus fought hard with my insurance company to make sure I only had to pay my deductible. So, after everything they made it such a wonderful process. It was my fist time having to have work done.. $13k worth of work for $1k deductible, this is right after I had to have a new transmission put in and that was $15 with a $100 deductible, and that right there my friends, is proof that GOD is GOOD All the time!! They blend everything well, they are VERY polite and good at their job and this is coming from a customer service associate who worked in the pandemic. Having a receptionist who is really personable is important. Came in and was paying out of pocket not with Insurance. When I first got there I had mixed feelings about the place but now I think that was only because all extra emotions and stress involved. After getting an update that was gonna be another $4000. My heart and jaw dropped. I don't have e that much so after a couple days I decided to pick up car and take somewhere else. The incident: It's not every day you are driving down the freeway and a piece of furniture goes flying off the car in front of you and takes out your side mirror. This happened to my Subie Sunday driving home on the 99. My car is relatively new (2018) and has not needed any major work done on it, so when my insurance asked me if I had an auto repair shop, I didn't know what to say. Caliber Collision was their first recommendation. The drop off: Monday morning at 7:58 I received a call from Caliber letting me know they had received my insurance claim and wanted to know if I was able to bring my car in that morning for the inspection. I took my car in at 10am. The staff was very friendly and walked me through the steps and process. The lady behind the counter called enterprise because my car was going to be taken for repair at that same time. I was quoted 1-2 weeks, depending on parts. The paperwork was easy and understandable. The pick up: I received a call Wednesday letting me know my car may be done by Friday. Friday Caliber called and let me know my car was in line for a wash but it was ready for pick up. Not only did Caliber repair, replace, and repaint the damages on my car, they also aligned my vehicle and did a nice detail job to the interior. They even remembered to place my clear door panel sticker on and even explained what it was for. Overall: I am beyond impressed with the service I received at Caliber, it's safe to say - as long as I live in Sac - I'll be going to Caliber for all of my repairs! read more

They are located in West Sacramento on Harbor Blvd. The whole process was a breeze from dropping to picking the vehicle. The awesome staff (both in-office and mechanics) at Caliber Collision were very courteous. While you are signing up the paperwork, the front office calls the rental car company who came within 5 mins to pick me up. The car was ready in couple of days as expected. Again the pickup went as smooth as drop off. I was out on the road in under 15 mins. The service performed was impeccable. Thank you Caliber Collision for this wonderful experience.
