Not recommending Kniesel's at all. I felt duped by their staff. He told me to check everything when I brought the vehicle for repair after it was vandalized. I found a small dent that was not on the original police report. I reported it to him and he took pictures of it. When, I got back the vehicle the dent wasn't fixed. I reported it to the shop and they in turn told the adjustor that it wasn't on the report. They washed their hands because their guy failed to notify my adjustor about the addition dent that I found like it was my fault. My family and friends will not get their business from now on for this deceptive practice! read more

This is my second time working with Kniesel's in the first time around my experience was great. The second time around, I was working with a gentleman named Stephen. Here's why they're getting a low rating: 1. There was a 2 to 3 month lead time which is understandable but still a long time no wait to get my car repaired. 2. In the 2 to 3 months my parts were not ordered even though they knew that there was a national backorder on Tesla hoods (they are a Tesla certified shop, so it would be surprising that they didn't know.) My insurance also paid the deposit so they knew I was committed to working with their shop. 3. It took them close to a month to get the work done. Their excuse was the parts weren't in. When I asked him why didn't you time the part to come in before I brought the car into the shop very excuse was that they don't have any storage. However, timing, my cars arrival and the back orders should be something that they can. I had a deposit of more than half come in. 4. Stephen was horrible at communicating progress with me. I literally was checking in during my workday. They have an online gauge, but it doesn't really tell you what it is that they're doing to your car just that they're working on it. For $7000 job you would imagine that they would be communicative. 5. Lastly, not that it's here or there because my insurance paid most of it, but Stephen inflated the price twice. I can only imagine what that might feel like to someone who has to pay out-of-pocket. On the good side, they do quality work. That's undebatable. Blake G. I had my vehicle serviced at Kniesel's Natomas from July 5-July 21. I picked up my car on Friday. My cup holder lid was closed all weekend because I did not drive the car. On Monday, I opened my cup holder and saw a disposable vape was left in my vehicle. I didn't even know what it was until I googled the image. I am extremely upset it was left in my car. That means a technician was vaping in my car while it was in service. My oldest son has respiratory issues and this upset me to no end. I included a picture.   I e-mailed the general manager and he e-mailed me the response attached. No accountability at all. I went this morning to get my interior detailed and all it looks like they did was wipe down the cup holder as I waited for an hour while they did that and put back in my hood bra they forgot about. They also DID NOT detail the exterior while that was suppose to be included in the e-mail. While I was there this morning, the general manager's door was open because I heard someone talking to him. I waited in the waiting area for over an hour. NOT ONCE DID BLAKE GILPIN come out to apologize for one of his tech's leaving a vape pen in my vehicle.   I only went here because it was through my car insurance. Highly recommend based on two separate visits. One with my mom's car. Their prices are low in comparison but the quality is over the top. They even full serviced the inside at no cost. It looked like a brand new car inside and out by the time they were done. I took mine in today for an estimate and when the guy saw my breast cancer survivor license plate holder he commented on it. I told him I probably should take that off as the cancer is back and the fight is on again. He took my keys and had me waiting in the lobby for quite some time. I couldn't figure out what was going on. Long story short they surprised me by doing the work and at no charge. They said I'm going through enough without having to worry about my car too. After my car's front bumper suffered some light damage, I went straight to Kniesels to get it fixed. I had the pleasure of having Sean Regnani streamline and uncomplicate this seemingly daunting issue. Sean was very professional, having the team thoroughly examine the car and give me a quote for the cost of fixing the damage. He then quickly ordered the parts and ensured every procedure detail was correct. In the lobby, it was nice having some coffee and popcorn to snack on while waiting for the estimate to be written up. I took my vehicle in a week later, and the job was done in one day. I picked up the car later that day and saw that the damage was fixed entirely, and Kniesels also washed and detailed my car. This was a delightful surprise, and I drove home in a clean, newly fixed car. Finally posting a review for this place because I recommended it to someone. Had a great experience with Kniesel's when I got into my first car accident with my used new-to-me, but used car. I was in Roseville and so we started out in Kniesel's closer location. They had my car taken to this location which is closer to my home. The damage was pretty extensive and they worked on it for well over a month, but when I got it back, the work was done very well. We had such a great experience that we didn't even need to bother to look elsewhere when I recently got into another accident. During the pandemic, I had to deal with getting auto body repair done to my car. My parked car was hit by an unsuccessful driver attempting to parallel park. Ugh. The driver took off without leaving a note, but they sure left a big ole scrap on the side panel and fair size dent on the fender. Thanks to some eagle eyed Good Samaritans that took note of the offender's plate number; my insurance company was able to track down the culprit to obtain full reimbursement for the repair. My insurance provided me a list of auto body repair shops. I chose Kniesels Natomas due to their location and Yelp reviews. After I dropped off my car, Joe H. spoke to me about the needed parts and repairs and kept me updated. Their diagnostic review caught an additional repair needed that was not noted by the claims adjuster. It was repaired and they worked directly with the offending insurance company for that payment. Thank goodness since it took me over 6 weeks to get the original check from them. The repairs were completed within 3 days. When I went to pick up my car, the inside dash was cleaned and front floors vacuumed. Great! It's since been over 2 weeks and 300+miles... so far so good... my car is driving and looking well. BTW the staff that I encountered at the shop wore face coverings and maintained a responsible social distance. The pen they gave me to use was brand new and complimentary. Nice touch! They had standup automatic dispensed hand sanitizing gel machines for customers to use. I hit a deer and had considerable damage to the front end of my car. I had my car repairs done at this location and was extremely disappointed with the customer service and the quality of work. When I went to pick up the vehicle the first time, they had neglected to replace some of the parts and the job was not complete. I had to bring my Jeep back three times because of issues of parts missing and things not working. I agree with other reviews that they do not take responsibility for their work or quality issues. They were rude to me and made me feel like I was at fault when I complained about these issues. I only wanted my car back and to be fixed properly. In an accident by another person who had Allstate Insurance. Went to Kniesel's Collision to get an evaluation. They got us in and processed everything with Allstate. We only had to send in pictures of accident and other driver's ID and proof of Insurance to Allstate. Kniesel's handled everything else and arranged a rental car for us. It was done when they stated. I came into Kniesels collision because my 2012 4runner's driver side fender was slightly popping out! It was due to a loose clip that keeps everything together! I believe a rock on the freeway might have caused it to pop out in place! Joe from Kniesels was the one that assisted me and he was extremely cool and kind! He checked out the fender and informed me that the clip has been damaged and they would have to replace the clip! In order for them to replace the clip, they would have to take the plastic portion of the fender off. Joe asked if I had the time so he could take it back and see if the employees can simply replace the clip! About 15 minutes later he came back and he informed me they replaces the clip and popped the piece back in! Joe was very nice and told me it was a simple clip that needs to be replaced and he did this courtesy for me! I will take my cars here if I ever have any issues! Thanks Joe! read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Kniesel's in Natomas. I had an insurance repair that was being done on 24 Tesla Model 3. My adjuster Sean was in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. They finished it up by the estimated due date and the repair work looks like it came out of the factory. When you become so successful you forget those that got you there. That's how I feel about this company. I know they are extremely busy and their appointments are months out so to they seem to not care about small jobs. My visit was an appointment at 930. I arrived a little late, I walked into the check in room and they were having a meeting. No one said anything to me or told me what to do til 5 minutes later the receptionist finally looked my way and greeted me. Kinda weird place to have a meeting. So I got a guy name Jimmy to come out and take pictures of the car and said he would send me a quote. I received the quote and proceed to ask him about an appointment but it's been 3 weeks no response to my email. So I called them telling them I want to get my car fixed and they said to send them my insurance quote. So I did that and now it's a wait and see how how they will respond. We have no choice but to go with Kniesels because of the Tesla repairs otherwise I would take my business else where. read more

I normally don't take the time to review anything at all but i found it fit to at least leave a review for this location since i could not tip. (It's long ) I was initially referred to Kniesel's though my insurance (AAA). My experience with my insurance was nothing short of frustrating so my patience was not the best when I had to schedule my appointments with Kniesel's and Hertz my rental car company. My Rep was Sean and when i tell you he had the BEST customer service i promise you he did . It took roughly two weeks to get my car back after drop off. I was told The date in which i was supposed to get my Jeep back was pushed back two days due to the holiday (Labor Day) and i was not happy, as my rental car was wayyy smaller than my Jeep . So i wanted my Jeep back ASAP. Sean had to call me and let me know the shop was behind because of the missed day . I gave him an earful explaining that they should've planned around the holiday and blah blah blah. A few hours later he calls me back and explains that i was correct and they'd get my car to me same day. Towards the end of the day he calls and says they forgot to order a piece for my car (he took full accountability and responsibility and there was no entitlement whatsoever ) so i said okay. He also told me that since He was taking responsibility for forgetting, he would bring my car to me to my job, and take my rental car back to the shop as i couldn't get the time off to come grab it . (Corporate America ) . Making me feel super assholeish for my initial response (thankful they're forgiving and understanding) Well , the next day Sean does what he says but calls prior to coming to my job, where i explained to him that i was not ready because i had not filled my rental gas tank up and i would come by on my lunch. I came by on my lunch and the swap was swift and professional. Here's the part that REALLY wow-Ed me. When i initially dropped my car off my battery was dead . I explained to Sean that my battery was dead where he and my AAA insurance agent at the time assured me that my insurance would cover it. When I get my car back and my battery was worse ! So as you could imagine I'm livid when i leave work and my car doesn't start. By then Kniesel's was closed so i was stuck getting jumps. I send Sean and email explaining that i didn't see the battery on my receipt so that means i didn't get a new one . Next business day he reaches out to my insurance agent who wouldn't reply to either of us (my agent changed 3 times) and the agent that approved it originally was nowhere to be found and the new agent would NOT approve AAA covering the battery! So as you could imagine I'm pissed because i could've changed my battery prior to turning it in for two weeks to the collision center had i known i was coming out of pocket. Sean tried alllll day to get them to approve and they didn't. So he called me to tell me the bad news but i already knew because AAA called me and told me they refused to cover the battery. Sean then asked if i had a battery and i explained the 3 places I'd researched to get it from and I'd be On my way to one of the locations that day to change it . HE THEN OFFERED TO BOTH BUY AND INSTALL MY BATTERY AT A CHEAPER RATE THAN ALL OF THE PLACES I RESEARCHED . I wanted to cry . He was more help than AAA in soooo many ways ! Of my whole accident experience Kniesel's was the best experience hands down . From the front desk reps to Sean. I loved the text and email updates , i loved the thorough communication . My car is one of my largest investments and it looked brand new when i received it back. Then the battery experience sent me ! I wish i could get all of my regular work done there because I'd totally be a loyal customer for life simply off of the customer service . It's a nice clean location . I loved my experience . Here's a big shout out to Doug Harris for helping me out. I have used Kniesel's services a few times through no fault of my own. The last time I had to have damage repair was a year ago. As usual my car was returned to me looking as good as before the accident that occurred on front bumper area. I don't drive much and didn't need to get an oil change until now. The oil change people could not get my hood to open so I was not far from Kneisel's and drove over to see if they could address the issue. Mr. Harris had the problem inspected, determined that the hood release cable had come loose and had the mechanic repair it so I was able to get my oil changed. Hate the fact that I brought my vehicle to this location. Even if you're going through an insurance company I would highly recommend that you don't allow this shop to touch your vehicle. And if you allow them to completely breakdown your vehicle in order to inspect it they will Charge you about five hundred dollars to just putting back together. I had a small dent in my fender after someone ran into my car, very minimal damage but I wanted it fixed. Insurance sent me here, so I decided to get the fender replaced. My car was there for 2 days and the battery was dead. My car is 3 years old and sat for days at a time during the pandemic and no problems, but sitting for 2 days at their shop was enough for it die. I was told this is common in "old cars". I eventually had them replace the battery, and now a couple months later my car has died twice again. The paint job that was done over the repair is failing, it is cracked and bubbled. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of their work. I am now laying out of pocket to have repairs made that weren't an issue before I brought my car here. My car was better off with the small dent and I regret bringing my car here. read more

I teally wanted to like Kniesel's. I took two cars here within a few months and they did great work. Then a concrete dump truck backed into one of those same cars. The dump truck driver was deemed at 100% fault and, based on prior experience I decided to use Kniesel's. Second time was NOT a charm. Made appt, dropped off on a Thursday morning. They promise me it will be done in about 4 days. Fast forward to following Monday, Im driving by and see my Tundra in parking lot and literally nothing was done. So I call "Steve". Hey apologizes, has excuse about someone calling in sick, says they are behind. Promises it by Friday. Says he will call me in a day to update me. Never got anothe call until Friday. Finally call me Friday at like 5:20 and say I can pick up. Well, cant get there before close so I guess Saturday. Show up Saturday and they bring out truck, and damage to tailgate was not repaired. Steve says "oh sorry, well theres some other scratches in tailgate so its no biggy". Not impressed. I take car home. Next day I find brackets in bed were removed and not replaced. Call "Steve" Monday and he says he will check and get back to me. Never does. A week goes by and one day I notice my rear license plate is nearly falling off car. Turns out Kniesel's stripped the threads in the bumper where plate bolts to car. I fix it meself after trip to Home Depot. While fixing I also notice rear bumper bolt covers are loose. Kniesel's broke the clips that secure them to bumper. So I ordered replacements off Amazon. Another week goes by and I go to hook up our RV and find the entire trailer electrical and brake wiring harness laying on top of the spare tire. Kniesel's broke the brackets on the harness that secure it to the frame, so someone just shoved it on top of the spare. At this point Ive had enough and I contact my insurance company to inform them of all the issues. They make an appt to go back to Kniesel's. But you know, I fixed it all myself. I dont think I would EVER take another car here. If you do, pay attention to small details and look it over carefully when you pick it up. 2019 mustang Gt paint and body came out amazing while mentioning it was Fords nightmare color. Mike the painter really knocked this job out the park. The paint sprayed and the differentiating paint line for the back cowel area are nice on the eyes. Mike was able to squeeze in some extra care in this brand new hood I bought and made sure the ending image was flawless for the paint to be laid on. The body repair technician Ven has done a flawless job as well! The bodywork was completed to a perfect image and in the process Ven was able to make a irregular line up from the aftermarket parts actually line up and to my eyes it connected the body lines from FRONT BUMPER TO THE REAR QUARTERS! So freakin cool dude! Hadn't seen the lines there before haha. From what I was told Jordan is the individual who polished out the car afterwards for the final. I am a extremely picky person and a perfectionist when it comes to my vehicles. I was scared that the new paint clear coat would look different but Jordan was able to replicate the same ending clear coat texture and gloss to match up nicely with no swirls! Tony thank you for the detail on the way out the door! Thanks everyone for handling this car in a quick turn around time, I truly appreciate the work! The vehicle came out better then expected and that is extremely hard to get out of me and my expectations. Terrible terrible terrible experience. After my accident I took my truck to them as they were down the street from us and AAA approved. It took them almost 2 months to get my truck back to me. 3 weeks in I had to grab something from the truck so I stopped by, they let me back and come to find out they had yet to start. I had to bring the truck back an additional 3 times because the repairs were not completely finished. Then alignment was off and I was told it was because of the road, then it was because of the tires and lastly that factory alignment was off and because they "fixed it" it pulls to the right (didn't pull before the accident). The last time I picked up the truck the decal wasn't even on the passenger side. I was told they had just received the part and they could put it on for me but failed to tell me this when I was on my way to pick it up. Fed up I just told them to forget about it. I ended up taking the truck to an independent alignment shop and they got it set, Insurance ended up reimbursing me while management here made it seem like I was crazy because my truck was pulling to the right so much. When I got the truck home I looked it over more closely. There were tons of holograms from a rotary that wasn't finished down. They also didn't remove anything when they blended the work so there are tape lines with raised clear. The driver side fender liner was damaged in the accident and was never replaced so now it just flaps as I drive. I was pretty upset but I couldn't complain and have them redo anything because I couldn't be without a truck again. I had already paid out of pocket for a good amount of the rental because the repair took so long. I figured I could live with these things so I didn't write a review. Until now. I don't want anyone to have a similar experience as mine. Why write a review now? The work was so bad that parts of my clear coat is failing. It's literally peeling. The fender flares they "replaced" are starting to separate from the body because the adhesive isn't holding so you can see a gap. The fog lights they put in are cracked now and the passenger side one is super loose, it bounces around while I drive. I find all of the ridiculous because the truck had went in with 18k miles and now only has 33k. All of this shouldn't be happening already, if at all. I suspect I'll be blamed for what's happening. Please save yourself the grief and go elsewhere. read more
