I didn't research well enough in looking at the location so I didn't know this place is in the Valero gas station on Kuykendahl and Cypress Hill. And that's no dig, this is what I call a Hidden Gem! Wait for it Ketoers. I got a wet keto chicken burrito and the keto beef burrito for comparison. Flavor throughout in both without a lot of salt. The wet burrito is spicy so if you're not used to a kick get ready. The chicken was juicy and tender. The chicken was seasoned very well, that sauce is divine, and the keto tortilla did not disappoint. The beef was equally well seasoned sans tons of salt and the keto tortilla on non-wet burrito has the perfect crispiness. And these burritos are not soaking in grease and I felt like I ate clean. Just half a burrito should do you good (I ate more than half and I'm stuffed) because did I mention the burritos are huge?!! I was starving and forgot to take before pics. I will definitely be back! OK so here's the thing. One of my friends and I have ordered from here twice for delivery. Twice he has ordered something keto, and I have ordered something else. Once a sandwich, once a burger. Both times, my friend exclaimed that this is some of the best keto food he has ever had. Both times, I didn't even eat half my food and threw the rest right in the trash. I'm so confused. I sat here and stared at yelp for about 10 minutes really struggling to figure out how to write this review, and finally landed on this: I am giving it 2 stars for the two meals I tossed and I will mention more than once that my friend says this is the best keto food he has ever had to help balance out what I thought. Now, let me tell you why this is two stars for me. First off, it does not taste fresh. I don't understand all the people who wrote that this was one of the best burgers they have ever had. It was dry, tasted frozen, and the bun was stale. This is Houston, there are way better burgers to be had. To be fair, let me say that reading through the reviews, trying to figure out what I missed, I found one reviewer who said that he loves whataburger, and this is the only other place in Houston that has good hamburgers like whataburger. Ahh...got it. I could cut and paste my description of their burgers onto a review for whataburger. The buns have the same off taste, the meat was just as dry, the buns were just as stale. Now, I know some people LOVE whataburger, so you may love this place too. I do not share your love of whataburger. Now, the fries? Super soggy. Super. Like they came out of the grease way too soon and then got steamed. Looking at the pictures, I don't even recognize what I received and what other people had. Perhaps I could have baked them to crisp them up, but I was already working out what to do for dinner instead of trying to make this work. Long story short: If you are looking for Keto, then you may want to check this place out. If you like whataburger, you may want to check this place out. Perhaps if you didn't get delivery, you may want to check this place out. But if those things aren't your style, then not sure you will enjoy what they have to offer. read more

When I pulled up and realized that this Burger joint that had 5 stars was in a gas station, I was skeptical. I was really glad I gave it a try. They have a good variety of burgers. They are large and came out quickly. A small seating area is located inside if you want to eat in or you can get it to go. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had. read more

The BEST Five Star Mexican food in Houston!!! The layering of flavor combined with fresh ingredients and traditional fare makes for authentically delicious food. The food is amazing!!! The burgers are good but the sauce in the burger is what makes it way above average. Topping that is the fries, they're tick and soft the texture is perfect with the dipping thousand island sauce. This place reminds me of home (LA) with the charbroiled burgers and their special house sauce 1000 island. Fries are thick and just soo good! So I ended up getting the fajita steak and egg combo with avocado and pico. Food choice and designation to keto is amazing! However the taste was very bland. Would suggest to use salt and pepper or seasoned salsa on these type of dishes to bring out flavor of the meats and proteins. It's already enough that we're sacrificing bad eating habits and giving up our carbs. At least give us something that's flavorful and healthy. Don't let this place fool you because it's in a gas station. The portions are generous, food is good and orders are out pretty quickly. No complaints here! This is one of our regular spots to order from for a quick meal. Especially when I don't feel like cooking. The taco salad is my favorite. This is one...good...burger. I've been going here for the past 6 months or so. Quality is on point. Bacon strips are thick and fresh. Fries are always hot. It's a great place. The owner is an amazing person as well. She feeds the first responders for free. They fed many officers and firefighters during Harvey for free. Just incredible people. Today we went and they had run out of buns. She told me their supplier has not shown up for a few days. So, she substituted Texas Toast for the bun. WOW!! I told her I wanted it like that everytime.
