I initially went in for tummy countouring w/ a special for 2 visits. My encounter with Karen, the owner, was less than stellar. She was professional, but lacked any real concern or interest in encouraging me and my results. Nevertheless, I purchased the 6 sessions for $899. Each time I went in it was the same. No real welcome, no smile, no discussion or talking at all. Then one of my appts was booked on the wrong day, Wed, and I went in on the day I booked, Thursday, Sonya said she could work me in. So, I was grateful for that. No sorry from Karen, no mention of it at all. My experience was way less than I expected and my results were not worth the $$. I have been coming to CBC for months now. I started back in May after my second wedding dress fitting. As I have said to people, "I loved my dress but hated me in it." I came to Karen for their bridal package, and halfway through that, I ended up buying a second round. I can't sing her praises enough. For the record: I drank 2 liters a water a day, worked out 3x a week, and got 2 ultrasonic cavitations a week for 3 months. I am obsessed with my results and loved my experience. I lost 6 inches off my waist, ultrasonic cavitations are amazing for chronic pain, I noticeably have more energy lately, and honestly, Karen is just beyond delightful! She accommodated any issue or request I had, and I never once had any pain or side effects (other than the rare minor headache when I didn't drink enough water that day). I have no doubt I will be coming back for more moving forward. Anyone complaining about Groupon nonsense or commitment requirements is wild. That's on them for approaching this the wrong way. Just because it's non-invasive does not mean it is any less of a process than getting liposuction or plastic surgery. You are letting someone alter your body using intense machinery. Dont be dumb! Do your research! The trade-off is that this is painless, but it still requires you to put in the work to see results. It's an investment of time and money, but it is worth it. Use your money towards a personal trainer or meal prep plan!!!!! Not worth it. I never write reviews so I had to make sure I shared my experience if I could save others from wasting their time and money. If I could take back time, I would've declined the upgrade. I bought the ultrasonic package with 4 treatments for about $119.25. First, the ultrasonic package is only Step 2 out of a 3 step process. So they're going to encourage you to upgrade your plan so you can access the other steps for a complete treatment. (Shady) Second, the variance from the Groupon to the first upgrade is over $375. I included a tip just to be kind. I didn't even know if this was going to work. This is definitely impatience on my part and I can attest to it. I only did this because I felt self-conscious for not working out for so long. I got serious and went to the gym and watched what I ate and did not drink alcohol. You're better off doing just that because you'll gain confidence and feel a change in your body. The treatments just took up my time, made me super thirsty and I spent a day or two replenishing myself and finding ways to flush toxins. They wouldn't come out right away even after working out right away. I would have a constant headache for a day or two even though I was hydrating rigorously. Fourth, my technician told me it takes 6 sessions to see results. Then why not start your packages at 6? After some thought I thought their sales tactics weren't integral and can be misleading. Seriously, use your money for a personal trainer or a meal prep subscription. This was not worth the opportunity cost for me at all. You would think that after $524.25 I'd receive obvious results. Yes I have lost weight but from my own hard work and have no faith in this product at all. Lastly, the owner emailed me in shock with stats pointing out that I am the first to give them the feedback I did. He ended the last paragraph with, "I can tell you that our clients that take this seriously get results...(tons of proof)". I never met him and he obviously didn't discuss this with his technician who knows my journey. He was adamant about defending his company instead of just hearing me out. His email seems more reactive than responsive and adds to why I would never support this business again (no point in responding to him). I expressed my concerns with suggestions and my frustrations with professionalism and tact. I just don't get a good vibe either. Read the low ratings and go with your gut. Very disappointed. I wanted to get the ultrasonic treatments done and set up a appointment. If you purchase through Groupon they schedule differently and you can't get in right away. My appointment would have been the middle of August. I guess I won't be going here for my treatments. In regards to your response ( which I appreciate). Nothing is blocked from you corresponding. On your online appointments it has the customer put in what service is requested and if it is a Groupon or not. Also, when you call the number on your merchant website. The answering service also asks if it's Groupon. I put my review so that potential clients can see that if they want a quick appointment there is a wait. This was my first visit here, or any treatment center at that. It's a beautiful office and the people are very friendly and accommodating. I bought a Groupon cause I thought, hey why not get a little extra help. Im a pretty clean eater and like working out but have fallen a little. This is definitely for some one who needs a kick start in the right direction and wants to commit to a healthier lifestyle. The procedure with easy and painless, ever more on the relaxing side. I had purchased 6 iLipo treatments through Groupon. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. The office is beautifully decorated and very clean. I had my first session with Sarah who unfortunately became quite short and rude as soon as I told her I wasn't interested in upgrading the package I had just purchased. I explained that I wanted to see my results, if any before purchasing any further services. At your initial session they recommend that you limit all the bad stuff from your diet (fats, carbs, alcohol etc.)...seems like a good idea given you are trying to shed inches with this alternative treatment. The treatment itself is really relaxing and thankfully I had Bess taking care of my treatments after my initial with Sarah. I took measurements before and after (which Sarah did not do on my initial visit probably because I did not agree to pay another $500 for upgrades) But truthfully I have not seen any real results with the first 5 treatments. Such a bummer :( Unfortunately I came down with flu like symptoms the evening before my last appointment. I was told they charge a $50 rescheduling fee for appointments not cancelled or changed within 24 hours. I understand cancellation fees and why they are necessary, just like a missed doctor appointment, someone else could have been seen during your time slot. But I asked if there was anyway for an exception. I also asked if this is really how they want to go out with a new client on my last treatment...with a poor review of my lack of results and for me to not come back? Boy, I got a rashly worded email from Drew stating that they refused to be bullied by their clients and given that I purchased my package through Groupon at a 90% discount I should not be "bent out of shape" when asked to forfeit my treatment or pay $50. Drew also "warned" me that they get to respond to our reviews....I was thinking....isn't that like a threat? LOL...I went on to explain that poor reviews on websites such as yelp and Groupon are not the only way to get your experiences across to other consumers in the community.
