I have been searching for an extraordinary Certified Massage Therapist for almost two years and have been to see many. There have been a couple of CMTs that I thought were very good, but upon returning for a second massage, I learned that the massages were detached and impersonal, following a predefined pattern not specifically paying attention to the areas of my body that needed work. Thankfully, Celeste is a CMT that really pays attention to the areas of my body that are a bit jumbled and in need of getting put back in order. I have seen Celeste three times and experienced deep tissue and cuddle therapy - each massage has been completely different and tailored to address the specific issues I was experiencing at that time. During the massage, Celeste has never left the room, never answered a phone call or text, never cut our time short, and has always made me feel like I'm the most important person during the entire 90 minute session. Went to Dreamscape Celeste a couple of weeks ago after I sprained my ankle. I had been referred by a friend, but was unable to find any reviews on Yelp, until I noticed a section at the bottom that said "not recommended reviews." Read through them and figured I would give it a shot. I was able to create an appointment quickly and easily using the text feature on Yelp. The lady was able to schedule me the very same day, which was perfect because I had been dealing with pain and needed to be back at work the next day. Upon arriving at the facility, there was plenty of parking and the room was dark and mystical feeling. Celeste welcomed me and asked me to wait while she finished with a customer. As I waited, there was lemon infused water and some magazines for me to go through, but after a few minutes, it was my turn. I've never gotten any massages so I didn't know what to expect. Celeste was really nice and reassured my that my issue was not anything to worry about and that she would focus on just my legs. Anyway, my ankle was really tender and could not stand to be touched, but as she worked the swelling began to decrease and was visually noticeable. While it was quite painful, Celeste probably saved me from missing out on a new job that I was offered which required a lot of hiking (which is what prompted me to try anything). She was able to give me relief and being a mom herself knew all the right areas to go after and she even would stretch my hips for me to help with sciatica. So caring and attentive. I purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute Swedish Massage for my wife (a full-time caregiver) for $39. The value said it was $100. I texted a request to schedule the massage on June 3, 2019 as directed and I received no response. My wife texted her again today 6/23/19, and Celeste (I am assuming) texted that she is not accepting Groupon Vouchers anymore and to get a refund through Groupon. What a pain, if you don't want the business, don't get involved with Groupon. What was interesting is that she offered my wife a massage at her "regular rate" of $49. So in addition to poor business practice, she inflated the value of her rates to Groupon.
