Glow Aesthetic opened a new location in Thousand Oaks. I had to come try it out. I initially went in for the microneedling session but unfortunately my skin is at risk of getting keloids. The great news is glow aesthetic suggested I get their keloid steroid injection on a few small keloids from a prior surgery. I was nervous at first but Masteneh made me feel comfortable. Overall the customer service was top tier and the service that was provided was also great. I highly suggest visiting this location. You will not regret it. It's been exactly 11 days since I got the micro-needling and the results are incredible. My wrinkles are much less pronounced and I have less sagging. I recently also did a contour filler, but the before and after photos I am attaching are what it looks like before I did the filler. I would definitely recommend micro-needling even if you don't do it in conjunction with any other treatment because the results are definitely well worth it. read more

Had my first micro needling treatment at Glow and it was awesome! The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The doctor came in and did a full consultation. We talked about my goals with my skin and in-depth on the treatment. Then I had the physician come in to do the treatment, Tia. She was very sweet and friendly. She went into more detail about the treatment and post op care. The treatment itself took about an hour (including numbing my face). The treatment wasn't super painful but wasn't completely painless. After it felt like a had a mild sunburn. I'm a few days post treatment and I can definitely feel a difference with my skin in the texture. It's like getting a deep microdermabrasion but with needles. You do bleed a little just fyi. But overall it was a great experience and definitely recommend it and them. The facility is beautiful (especially considering it's brand new). I had my first ever microneedling session here with Mastaneh last week! I was a little nervous going into it, I've never done any sort of procedure on my face nor have I gotten botox. But when I heard that it can improve texture and potentially reduce pore size, I was intrigued. Once you check in, they bring you into a waiting room, and the aesthetician comes in and walks you through the process. She really took the time to explain what microneedling does and what I can expect. I had a bunch of questions for her which she patiently answered. After that, she applied a numbing cream on the face and you have to wait a while for it to take effect. Then you wash it off with a gentle cleanser, and she gets to work! I was nervous it would hurt but thankfully it didn't whatsoever. She also explained what she was doing every step of the way so that there were no surprises. I really appreciated that. It over before I knew it, it maybe took about 10-15 minutes total. When I looked in the mirror afterwards, I was nervous I'd see a horror show of red but I honestly looked completely normal and fine. I brought a wide-brimmed hat and wore that for my drive home / the week following the procedure to avoid sun exposure. My face was a little tender afterwards and got the tiniest bit red, like a mild sunburn, but it went away overnight. When washing my face that day, I noticed that my skin felt SUPER soft. I've been diligent about following their after-care instructions - wearing sunscreen, trying to avoid sun exposure, and limiting skincare products. They kindly checked in to see how I was healing and doing a few days later too. Overall, really positive experience here! read more
