I've gone here a couple times to cash a check and each time they have been so rude. I've never given them a hard time, answered all 100 of their questions (I understand they have a job to do and fraud to check), and all I've ever gotten is rudeness and entitlement from these employees. read more

Lied to us over the phone. Tried to force us to take a "green card" instead of cash when we arrived. Would only cash half the checks. Wrote all over them before saying they would charge us $250 to cash 3 checks. They made the checks void by writing all over the fronts and backs to force us to pay. They charge MORE for government checks which are gauranteed. They take advantage of the poor and are a scam. The local big box money center will cash any check for $8 max. Absolutely rude costumer service, African American lady yells "get in line!" as I walk in. There is not a soul in line nor at the costumer service stations but there clearly was 3-4 lady's working a station. I walk over to "get in line" and immediately yells out "I can help you here!" Finally im helped at a station while the other employees just gossip. Point is if you don't like your JOB, or working in customer service just leave and go a find a different job becuase it absolutely sucks to be helped by people like this. This Payday Loan outfit has always been helpful, courteous, and efficient in my opinion. I feel badly for those who had a non-typical experience but other than waiting sometimes due to long lines my loan payout and re-writing experience has always been a positive one. If you go mid-afternoon the line usually is much less and thus you are processed sooner. I have used them for any of service except for the payday loan so cannot speak on those topics. The wonderful aircon system is a pleasant relief as we are still experiencing the late summer heat in the high 90's. By the way, my tip is, give respect and politeness to the employees there and you will receive the same in return in spades. read more

They do not fully explain their services and fees. Unless you like surprise fees and incessant calls, I'd go somewhere else. If you go there, take the time to read the ENTIRE contract, because some of the employees misrepresent their fees and do not explain important details of their services, that result in additional cost to the customer. read more

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! A friend of mine had her taxes done by this store and they used bogus incomes for her, saying she had a business she earned income off of, when she didn't, put bogus info on her tax return. She ended up getting audited and is now having to pay the IRS because of this stores mess up! They wouldn't even help her, they just told her that she had to pay it, so sorry. She took her taxes to another company and they ended up redoing them, and helping her out. I'm sorry, but if you mess up on someone's taxes that bad, you should fix it not say so sorry. I had a customer come in and say that they had given him a fake $100 and wouldn't do anything about it. Told him they wouldn't even show him the surveillance. So he's just out that $100 now. Do not waist your time at this Ghetto store! All the women working there are unprofessional and Lazy! There's always a long line of waiting customers while there is only one or two windows open when multiple employees are there behind the counter talking and joking around with eachother loudly while customers wait when they should be opening up more of their 10 windows they never use! Why does this business have so many windows and employees when they don't utilize them? In my opinion these employees are more concerned with their friendships an social lives than doing there job and helping customers. This review is not based on a one time experience I've went here several times and its always the same annoying experience .On one occasion while I waited in line the one employee that was at the window proceeded to make me wait even longer while she openly flirted with the customer she just got finished with helping. Corporate management needs to step in and clean house with these employees that have been there to long and are so comfortable in their position that they abuse it and became rude and unprofessional. This is the worst cash advance place it is worse then the check n go in town. There are always a lot of people working but only one will be in the window while the others stand in the back and talk. After waiting forever to get to the window the people are short and make it seem like you are inconveniencing them by being there. It is really uncomfortable being in there sometimes and caused me to go to a different advance place after only going here a few times. I did make the mistake of going there for western union once and the girl working told me she didn't want to help me and to go somewhere else because they don't like paying out western unions because it doesn't benefit them. I asked for the manager and was told pretty much the same thing in a nice tone. How can they be a western union place and not let you pick up money there when they have it because they are cashing checks all day paying people money? Horrible people work there.
