Received great service from California First Roofing. This year, I had to replace my flat part of the roof and was having some of the fascia wood damaged by water and termites. Did my research and got several quotes from various companies. The owner gave a very reasonable quote for the work. My flat roof was about 1200 sq ft. They replaced the entire roof in several days, replaced much of the fascia wood and primed it all (haven't decided what color paint yet). I felt that this company was honest with pricing and reasonable. So many people are taking advantage of insurance companies demanding major repairs that may or may not be needed and there are a lot of roofing companies that are overcharging for work. They replaced and painted all the metal vents on top and ensures the flashings where roofs met wall were done properly. Installation was also extremely fast and passed rough and final inspections on both roofs first try. Extra decking that was required to repair discovered damage and the tarp was an extra charge however their pricing was extremely reasonable. They came out the day after we called, examined the roof, which is really three, two flat roofs, and the rest of the house is regular roofs, Gave us a bid that was well below the other two bids. They came out a week after we accepted the bid, and work was done in two days. They also replaced several boards that had rotted out, and replaced two skylights that really needed replacing. It was time for what every homeowner dreads--roof replacement. It was necessary for us to review options to replace a 25-30 year old concrete tile roof that probably should've lasted longer, but with the steep roof pitch, and time/wear, a significant number of tiles had started sliding off so it was something that needed to be done. We went through the bid process for multiple estimates and decided that Lior, with California First Roofing, was our guy. He was responsive from initial inquiry to project completion and kept me plugged in at every step of the way - permitting, plywood, inspection, tiles, fascia board and gutters. Aside from a roofing tile manufacturing delay and supply issues (to no fault of California First Roofing) this project ran smoothly and on time. Initially, I was going to go with the most cost effective, low maintenance, best bang for your buck option. For all you husbands out there with wives, you know how more often than not, this doesn't happen. My wife asked for other options. Of course she did. To be fair, she did ask good questions and wanted something more aesthetically pleasing and longer lasting than my initial choice. In a market where construction and remodeling costs have gone through the roof (pun intended), it was definitely a hard task to find a good roofing company that was: 1) reliable, 2) good in communication, 3) reasonably priced, and 4) stood behind their work! Well Lior delivered! Was he the cheapest? No, but he was VERY competitive and reasonable with his quote. Lior was BY FAR the most responsive from all other roofing companies I reached out to, and he was ON TOP OF HIS STUFF. A few months ago, I had some broken and missing roof tiles and I needed them to get fixed ASAP. I got 2-3 quotes from other roofers and frontline was half the cost. The gentleman that came down was really great and even included sealing all the flashing as part of the price.
