I am a 79 year old woman who encountered an employee of SIA Security in a parking lot of a local…read moregrocery store. I parked next to a company vehicle and realized the space was tight because she had parked several inches over the white spacer line. I was preparing to back out of the spot to park elsewhere when the SIA employee squeezed between the cars scraping her purse along the side of my car. She opened her door and banged it into my side mirror and passenger door. I got out of my car and stood behind her company car asking her to stop. She began yelling at me to get out of her way. She got out of her vehicle calling me a whore and approaching me in a threatening manner. I asked her if she was going to hit me and she continued loudly calling me a whore and stating that I didn't know who I was dealing with. I said she was not a good representative of her company and could lose her job acting the way she was. She told me that was never going to happen. A bystander came to me and asked if I needed help. He told her she was making her company look bad and that he'd had taken a picture of the company vehicle. She responded that "he could take a picture of her black ass", she didn't care. I decided to avoid further escalation so my helper and I decided to leave. I reported this threatening and intimidating incident to SIA and asked them contact me to discuss further. They have refused to follow up with me and merely send my emails back to me. I believe this company should take responsibility for actions of employees wearing their uniform and definitely would not recommend doing business with them. I am still frightened that this employee will try to find me to get even for reporting her.
