Dr. Dadoyan was quite possibly the worst medical practitioner I've ever had to work with. When I…read moreinitially met with her, she was extremely cold, judgmental, and not at all trauma-informed. She made an already stressful time even worse with her abhorrent bedside manner. I was made to believe that I deserved to live a life inclusive of: weight gain, weight loss, hair loss, trouble falling asleep, trouble staying awake, a hand tremor, loss of appetite, and a literal allergic reaction because of my diagnosis. I was a patient of Dadoyan for nearly 3 years and came to dread my monthly appointment with her because of her cold demeanor, her lack of empathy, and the various inevitable changes she seemed frustrated to make when tweaking my regimen. I tried many different medications under her care and she totally lacked compassion when I discussed concerns about various side effects. She even accused me of lying and cherry picking symptoms from WebMD when in reality, she was just grossly incompetent. On the plus side, dealing with Dr. Dadoyan inspired my JD thesis on SB 43, California's newest mental health law legislation. I argued that instead of expanding the definition of "grave disability" to be overly broad, CA should put more funding into community mental health resources that don't re-traumatize patients. So thanks for that I guess. Also, front desk is a nightmare to work with. And the Dr is always running late. Would not recommend Dadoyan Behavioral Medical Group unless you want to be treated like trash.

When I corrected her she spoke over me was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I pushed back and insisted that I know myself and my symptoms she relented but was incredibly unkind, cold, and lacked even basic skill in her social skills and bedside manner.
