Interior of a $500K+ coach!  A lot nicer than my house!  LOL
    Kevin B.

We went up to the Pomona Fairplex on 10/8 to check out the Big RV show that was there. It's been probably 15 years since the last time I went to an RV show. The reason for going this time was to take my other half as there are no RV's the Philippines. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/california-rv-show-pomona?select=3_OtCv1AtOtkF-qAJ5Y-BA&userid=Jcbj338NjXtSiqvK3LYghQ Parking was $10 and show entry was $14 each (after printing $1 off coupons). Fortunately, we got there at 10 am when the show opened and we were able to park in the adjacent lot, rather than parking at a remote lot and taking a shuttle bus too & from. I didn't realize this show had been going on for the last 65 years, who knew RV'ing goes back that many years! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/california-rv-show-pomona?select=YcfABhdhsbMhteLsAqRNxQ&userid=Jcbj338NjXtSiqvK3LYghQ It was fun to see some vintage trailers on display too, like this is a tiny vintage Scamp trailer. Cute, but talk about super basic! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/california-rv-show-pomona?select=BbnCcSNR5TJzVEM6mkv-gg&userid=Jcbj338NjXtSiqvK3LYghQ There were 1400 different RV's on display, ranging from small pop-up tent trailers, to $700K+ luxury coaches! We spent 6 hours there and managed to see nearly a third of what was on display. I later discovered for those "serious" buyers, test drives of some models were available. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/california-rv-show-pomona?select=ZVr7O3z6Hl9qo7JoFPM5FA&userid=Jcbj338NjXtSiqvK3LYghQ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/california-rv-show-pomona?select=N7cdsFEJSwQ3uDmicDFTcA&userid=Jcbj338NjXtSiqvK3LYghQ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/california-rv-show-pomona?select=u5szZl2WuWxnWzYRZxYSkA&userid=Jcbj338NjXtSiqvK3LYghQ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/california-rv-show-pomona?select=6pwq2KTxVKB56FVecbQpwQ&userid=Jcbj338NjXtSiqvK3LYghQ FOOD: Being at the fairgrounds, the captive audience had the choice of Pinks hot dogs, Mexican, BBQ and I forgot the 4th option. Of course the prices are very high, but what other option do you have, right? $10 for a hot dog and $8 for French fries @ Pinks for example. So MANY different trailers, motorhomes and luxury coaches to see, 6 hours was not nearly enough time. But after walking around in the mid 80's heat and sunshine, climbing in and out of dozens and dozens of RV's, the show did what it was supposed to do. It got us enthused with RV's and I've been doing a helluva alotta of window shopping each day since going to that show! Now all I have to do is win the Lotto so I can afford to buy one! LOL

How does a business who's only job is food, serve you something that I'm sure they wouldn't even eat? So i got a response from the Owner, Heidi. Let me just say she is very unprofessional and accused me of lying about my experience with the food her business served me and implied that I wasn't even there. My wife checked in to the Grape Harvest Festival on FB the day that we attended. I guess Heidi can't apologize instead of criticizing an adverse review.

Yes, the festival is tiny compared to the OC Fair, but I liked that there was no thug element present (LA County Fair). My only complaints would be the lack of promotion for this event and that they don't have any rides or even jumpers for the really small kids. Most rides require kids to be 42" tall with some requiring a height of 34". Also, 2 of the 3 beer stands had warm beer. The stand on the east wall next to the grape stomp stage had really cold beer though. Lucky for me, my only beer was from this stand. Not so lucky for my friend...

You should also to make sure to bring lots of cash because it makes life easier! I had some notable dishes... Including truffle fries from Mangia Mangia (a food truck from San Diego) and some very delicious lobster ravioli in a sauce that was a mix of alfredo and marinara. Next stop.. Desimigo for some veggie samosas! They had the right amount of chutney and spice on these delicious fried indian treats. As my friends were waiting in line for their samosas, I waited in line for about 40 minutes for the Cousin Maine Lobster truck. The lobster was definitely delicious and worth the wait! I ordered the Maine lobster roll and the lobster was cool, delicious, and very very fresh. The staff was also fun and had a great sense of humor. As we were walking around, our attention was caught immediately by HUGE eggrolls. So we ventured over to the MO Eggrolls. They were out of the tuna salad one that I really wanted to try, but their roasted veggie/hummus was very tasty. It came with a hot sauce and a delicious Kosher Dill pickle. Add a couple beers on to the bill and we were literally rolling ourselves out of there.

It's grown quite a bit and it's now been moved to Los Angeles area (Inglewood) adjacent to sofi stadium. I have been to ALOT of hard summers. In the 5 years I have been attending it has had 3.. YES THREE! Different locations. NOS in San Bernardino, coliseum in LA and now this new location. I must admit- I'm partial to NOS. I genuinely think that location is just such a nice layout. The normies who attend all the insomniac festivals know the layout and it makes for smooth transportation between stages. When you keep changing the venue like this, people don't know the grounds and it creates bottlenecks and pileups. This last year (lord knows why TF they did this or who greenlit it but) they put some of the BIGGEST names in techno (Nico Moreno, I hate models, 9x9, etc.) at the SMALLEST stage RIGHT AT THE entrance of the festival. The crowd was absolutely ridiculous to get through shoulder to shoulder bottleneck could not even move. It was like this for over 2 hours. It's little production hiccups like this that cause serious issues and risks for concert goers. Why would you put them at the smallest stage... genuinely... are you dumb? Not to mention, this is one of the festivals that's Top 5 most oversold in the insomniac universe. I'm not even going to go into detail about the amount of fence jumpers there were this year. This festival (bc it has some hip hop elements) always brings brokeys who feel the need to ruin the vibe for everybody else. Also, be prepared to pay up the ass to park on site as there is virtually no parking nearby. And all hotels will be RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. We paid over $400 for two nights and that was the decent price! Plus you have to pay $70 per night parking at your hotel. And this is like... EVERY HOTEL nearby. I would honestly tell you, skip this one. It's nothing but huge crowds, fence hoppers, 18-22 year old kids and overpriced CRAP. And it's hot as shit lol
