What you see, is what you DONT get! Do not waste your time, energy and money on this company. They are a scam and they will take advantage of you. The pictures of the rvs on their website look in a great condition and they sell you on all the extra amenities in the rv. But dont fall for it! Its a complete dump! And half the things are either broken, missing or a complete liability! They do not check the tires before renting out (ours were extremely old, cracked and coming off the rim walls) We noticed this and told Sean the owner we want a refund or a new RV and he said "no cant do that , you signed a contract" We ended having to stop at a tire shop on our vacation time which he paid for but itbwas our time and gas money and caused us allot of stress! The "traction loss" alert signal came on on our drive home and he responded either "thats not important" You can imagine our anger at that point. The tv didnt work The netting was broken to protect our children from falling off the bunk bed No awning The bluetooth didnt work The tp holder was missing The septic pipes are about to fall off under the vehicle and we had to fix it ourselves The drawers were broken Handles were missing No shower door It was a complete dump! We asked for a refund of atleast half our trip off and all he would give us was half a day of compensation. They are a scam and false advertisement! Read the other bad reviews!! I wish i had before renting their unsafe rv! Complete dump. If you are traveling with children, save your time and money and be safe and rent from elsewhere.

Thank you Westland Campers for the best camping experience! Pick up and Drop off were super easy and even came with a youtube video on how to work all the features in the RV. The service was friendly and the price was fair. I would recommend them for your first RV rental because it was a great way to get your feet wet into camping. My family enjoyed their time.

First time in an RV and first RV rental. Westland campers made it easy and help with all types of learning curves for a first time RVer Defiantly had to call multiple times for help with the RV. They took the call right away and helped with all the problems and questions I had. RV was nice, clean and kept up Made the trip that much easier My Fiancé and I now want to take more RV trips in the future With their selections of RVs we are going to plan bigger trip We are going to be returning customers Thank you Westland campers!!

It was our family's very first RV trip, and we're glad we went with Westland! They were professional, communicated with us the entire trip, and provided detailed instructions to avoid mishaps. The RV was easy to drive and operate. I would definitely rent from them again.

I have been renting RVs from Sean and Westland Campers since 2019. These guys are awesome. I love their transparency and customer service. We had an issue with the septic tank on the first rental we had and Sean stayed up til almost midnight on the phone to walk us through the issue. They have a lot of RVs to chose from so give them a call! Pro tip- it's better to book with them directly than booking from a 3rd party site like RV Share. Happy travels!

We tried class C RV camping the first time this week. Our rental RV was clean and had minimal issues. We gained lovely memories and learning experience through this beginners' trip. We appreciate Sean's affordable pricing, Cynthia's explanation, and Sergio's good customer service. This new Pomona location also helped us getting a rental RV much more easier.

Hi We had a great experience with Westland campers. My family and another family all loaded up for a long weekend to Yosemite and had a great trip. Im already starting to plan our next trip with Westland campers! Thanks again Westland team!

Flew in from Texas to meet our friends at Johnson Valley California for the King of the Hammers event.

Had a great trip with our RV, Cynthia and her team were great to work with. Our trip to Johnson Valley was so comfortable because of them. Thanks for helping us make this happen. We will be back!

Westland campers you did it again. 2nd Glamis Trip and this time we went with the big boy! It's just me and my husband! However I'm the GLAMPING QUEEN! I love the service and the attention from Westland campers! I know all the RVs are obviously used and can have some features better then others. But when renting at a reasonable rate and having all the needed for camping definitely count on Westland campers. Check out the big boy we rented it was 5 days $1300 plus tax and the team was amazing!

Very disappointed in their customer service as per the picture the bed was broken texted the representative and told them I will be sleeping at the hotel cause we were 2 adults and 2 dog and her reply was OK. Wait what a simple OK. Did not check up on me for the rest of the trip to make sure we were ok nothing. Customer service definitely need to improve

    - 5 out of 5 stars. I don't normally leave reviews, however, in this company's case, I would be doing a disservice if I didn't. This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with ANY business aside from the horrible rental. Due to the pandemic, my family and I decided to rent an RV through RVShare. This was our first time renting and operating an RV. However, we have been on RV trips in the past so we were familiar with the functionality of one. At first, the owner was responsive and seemed as if he was on top of things. Unfortunately, I was mistaken as the rental was in bad shape and we ultimately had to cut our trip short! On our rental day, we noticed there was much exterior damage to the RV but it was manageable as this is a rental. They also kept trying to sell additional "mechanical insurance" which I thought was odd. But have my opinions as to why they were trying so hard to sell the insurance. Upon looking inside of the RV, it looked unclean and overall unmaintained. I figured we'll clean it as that's a protocol we would do regardless. As we started to drive, I noticed the steering wheel had a shake in it for anything above 55MPH. A couple of hours into our trip I noticed a propane smell filling the RV. When I notified the owner, he stated, there was supposed to be a smell at first when turning on the propane but should dissipate thereafter. I indicated it did not. He then brushed me off to one of his associates at which time we were told to shut the propane off. As it turns out the propane controls mostly everything within the RV unless you're plugged into a power source. All of our food ended up spoiling, we couldn't use the air conditioner, TV's, outlets, freezer, refrigerator, hot water, etc., among other things. Here is a list of some things that went wrong while on our trip: 1) Dirty 2) Shaky steering wheel 3) Propane leak 4) Storage doors didn't lock 5) Bathroom faucet handle came off upon first use 6) Shower rail flew off upon first use 7) Rear storage door swung open on the freeway due to screws not tightened 8) E-brake broken 9) Maintenance light popped up 10) Outside speaker busted 11) Backfired when propane was turned on 12) Foul smelling refrigerator 13) Foul smelling toilet 14) We had to cut our trip early 15) Horrible service 16) Owner will try to blame you for the unmaintained vehicle Upon my return, the owner essentially stated the mechanical insurance was there to fix all of the aforementioned issues as if it were my responsibility. Who would do that on a vacation, business trip, or the like? Moreover, he was apprehensive about any of my concerns as if I was trying to pull a "fast one". That was the kicker for me when the unmaintained vehicle was the only reason for these issues. The propane leak alone could've severely injured us and could've been fatal. When asked for another rental or our money back he offered a $250 discount which barely covered the cost of the spoiled food. His response was, he has had much more serious issues happen and this was not that big of a deal. At this point, it was more about principle. After a few months of disputes and arbitration, we finally received all of our money back. If you care about your family and/or passengers and don't want to fix someone else's mess, my suggestion is to stay away from this place. Feel free to message me with any questions regarding this experience as I am more than happy to elaborate.

    Dog left onsite

The overall experience was great! They were very attentive and answered all my questions even while on the road. While I loved the service, I notice the dog on site, they must leave it there overnight, it did not have a bed and when I returned the RV the poor dog was shaking, please get this Dog a comfy bed, I can also donate one if needed. Also I hope the dog is not chained up all day.

Would never rent from them ever again. They are cheaper than other sites but you get what you pay…read morefor. Toured at least 5 class A RVs several months before our trip. Some had just come back from Burning Man so they were filthy but they said all the carpet would be shampooed & everything professionally cleaned when we picked it up. Stopped by a few times before our trip to tour the RV with friends that would join us & make sure items that needed fixing were getting done. We arrive at our pickup time of noon & during the walk through we find out the carpet wasn't shampooed as promised as there were stains. We take a ton of pictures as evidence so they don't say we caused the stains. We noticed one of the living room windows didn't have a privacy curtain, we said we needed that. Their solution was to tape a padded aluminum square over the window, essentially losing the use of light & air from 1 of the 2 main windows in the main living area. Then we wanted to check to make sure all the slide outs were working properly before taking possession but the bedroom slide out wouldn't slide back in. Maintenance was called & after more than an hour of fidgeting with the slide, it finally slid back in but I was already not happy or confident in the condition of the RV. We drive the RV back home to load up & had to top off the gas tank as it wasn't full. Once we got home, we opened the slides to start loading & find out it won't slide back in again. Now it's 4 pm & & we have to call them back. They said to bring it back & they will fix it. Now we have to unload stuff we had started to load so we can take it back, in case it isn't fixable. Ugh! Our husbands drive the RV back & maintenance tries to fix it but couldn't so a part was ordered. We asked if there was a different RV, because now we have zero confidence the RV will work properly. They said they didn't have a similar one to exchange. We waited 1.5 hrs for the part to be delivered but that didn't fix the issue with the slide. Now they said they had another RV & it was slightly bigger. Ughhhh, now we are several hours behind schedule due to the issues with the 1st RV. By the time we get the replacement RV back home, it's past 7pm & dark out & impossible to take good pictures of the condition of the outside of the 2nd RV for any existing issues or damage. Ughhhh When we finally finished loading everything, it is well past 1am & we are exhausted from the extremely long day. We had to delay our departure to Sequoia the next morning so we can get enough sleep for the long drive. This caused us to arrive to the RV park late in the evening & hookup in the dark, which we didn't want to do. When we took our first turn, the contents of the refrigerator fell out when the doors flung opened. It was a residential fridge, not an RV fridge with locking closures. That's when we noticed there were hooks on the side of the fridge. Luckily we had some bungee cords that we used to keep the fridge doors shut using the hooks, when we were driving. It would've been nice if ShareMyCoach warned us or provided straps. They also tried to tell us we dented the fridge when we didn't. The audacity, considering all the issues we had with the 1st & replacement RV!! The main living room heater worked the 1st night but stopped working after that. We had to crank up the heater in the back bedroom & keep the bedroom door ajar so our friends sleeping on the pull out couch in the living room could get some warmth at night. Then there was a steady & annoying beep coming from the microwave every 5 mins & we couldn't figure how to stop it, even though our husbands are handy. We had to call their maintenance but he didn't get back to us until the next day. Told us to reset the inverter but the beeping came back whenever we were hooked up to power. We also rented 2 e-bikes from them & on the day of pickup, 1 of the bikes we were going to rent had a flat tire. And the batteries were old & could not hold a full charge to go more than 5 miles, even though we kept them charged for 2 days. What a rip off for charging $30 a day for each e-bike!! When we complained they apologized but didn't give us credit. Do not do business with them!

The quality of the build, smart and thoughtful design and the corresponding retention of value resulted in our scheduling a trip to the nearest Lance dealer, Galaxy Campers in Ontario. From an initial phone call to David and two subsequent visits where we met David and Miguel we experienced friendly, professional assistance without any pushiness. We negotiated some upgrades, an extra solar panel, two 300 amp hr lithium batteries and an E2 weight distribution anti sway hitch. They were able to complete the upgrades and we closed the sale today. Miguel went over every aspect of the trailer's design, controls having us interact to see firsthand how the controls and options worked. Thorough not rushed and addressing all our rookie questions. David dialed in the rear view camera and corresponding monitor so we had a perfect rear view as well as explaining all the steps in hitching and unhitching the trailer. He even called me to say that he had put the van aside for me and that people were interested and wanted to offer the van to me first. I couldn't miss out so I finally booked. What a guy. Picking up the Van was great and easy. I showed up and Todd wasn't there but Tom is there working hard to make everything work and polish all the details on the cleaning. He takes the time for the tour, gives tips, friendly and helpful in every way even under the immense heat and more obnoxious loads of questions. On the road: I never had an issue but if i had some concerns or forgot how to work something, Todd would always answer or call back shortly after. First camping trip found a lot of electrical issues and Overland RV took care of those too. Honest and trustworthy family owned business. PS - These bad consignment reviews are a joke. These Karens have obviously never gone through a a consignment sale tied up with banks/loans and legal when selling vehicles. It takes MONTHS. Go to Overland RV, you won't be disappointed.

We show up to pick up the trailer, and nothing is done on the itemized list, and the trailer wasn't even cleaned. The Owner made promises he couldn't keep, said he was out of certain items needed to fix what was needed. We had no choice but to take the trailer because of course the loan already went through. He had 3 weeks to get everything done and did nothing. He couldn't even be bothered to fake it at least. Just made excuses. On top of this, the owner said he would provide us with all new hoses and power cords. Everything was used and dirty and he didn't even give us the right generator cord for the trailer. Didn't find this part out till we took our first trip and couldn't hook up properly. As a business owner, I don't like leaving bad reviews because I know how they impact business. This however is just frustrating. And reviewing the previous bad reviews, this seems to be an issue with the owner. Typical over promise, tell you what you need to hear to get the deal done and under deliver once everything is locked in. Likely needing the sale to cover expenses from the last botched deal. Should have done some more research before shopping here. Avoid this dealership.

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Road Shark RV. Ed and Arturo took great care of us, making sure that we had everything we needed, and even went over specific tips and tricks we could use to conserve as much power as possible since we were boondocking for the first time. Ed answered my billion questions over the months leading up to our booking, and made me feel very confident and secure everything would go well. Arturo gave us a great walkthrough of all the RV's features and really set us up for success. When you're talking with these guys, you know that they really care about you having a fantastic and easy time on your adventures. The RV was fully stocked with everything we could have needed - linens, coffee machine, kitchen gear, cleaning supplies, the works! I definitely did not need to pack so much, because it was clear that they had already thought of everything their clients might need. The RV was pristinely clean and didn't have a single technical issue. And the fact that they take Sunday dropoffs was a lifesaver! This was the first time we'd ever rented an RV, and the whole experience was so smooth and comfortable that I can't wait for another excuse to go on an RV trip. We definitely will be booking with Road Shark in the future.

8/8/24-8/11/24 Mini-getaway…read more My family and I are not outdoorsy people, but we decided to surprise my kids with an opportunity to glamp with a fancy RV. I did a lot of research on private rental companies vs. owner rentals. I really liked how luxurious the interiors were and how they offered delivery and pick up. It was more pricey but I wanted to be comfortable. I decided to give Road shark a try and it worked out beautifully. *One thing I did not know is how much additional rental insurance etc. you had to tack on with the rental. Besides that, the amenities were suitable for my family of four and my two fur boys. I checked in with Brett prior to delivery date to get some of my questions answered. He personally delivered the RV and gave us a run down of all the amenities and how to operate everything. I appreciated the accuracy of the yelp photos of the interiors. So many times you rent and find out when you arrive, the pictures were very outdated and what you get paid is not what you get. Not in this case. I paid for Wifi connection but they did not bring an ipad for connectivity. Brett apologized and said he would comp us for the Wifi charge. He told us we could just use our phone's hotspot and connect. It worked out nicely, and we had Wifi at the campgrounds. We were comped for it. Brett made sure we understood all instructions before he hailed an uber back to LA. Since it was out first time RV-ing, we went to KOA in San Diego to reduce anxiety. the drive was smooth up to 65 miles per hour. When we exceeded the recommended speed, things would start rattling and shaking. We quickly understood why we had to adhere to the speed recommended to drive. Other than that, my kids were very happy sitting in the back enjoying their onboard entertainment. When we arrived at the campgrounds, went pulled into our spot with full hookups. We took note the black water port did not have an adapter so we could not hook it up full time to empty. I texted Brett and he said we could either purchase a kit that would be reimburses or not empty it (and we would not get charged since no adapter). We later figured out a way how to manually empty as needed. Everything else worked well. I was extremely surprised at how well the convection oven/microwave worked for the kids chicken nuggets and corn dogs. Even though all the kitchenware was included in the RV, we still brought our own pans and disposable dishware. The beds were clean, freshly laundered sheets smelled great but did not fit the beds well (probably a common issue). It only comes with 3 sets of sheets and towels. Only two pillows which I also asked Brett about. He said we could purchase some and they will comp us for the cost. We survived without it. We took a shower the first night on the RV but then decided to transition to the showers in the building due to space. The onboard water temp and pressure was great. I did not have to worry about running out of hot water. The toilet flush pressure was also ideal to combat my husbands bathroom trips. No issues with the kitchen sink or any other appliances. The fridge was a perfect size for all our meats and frozen desserts. The car shades in front and the shades for the interior created a perfect environment for sleep. We really enjoy the outside LED light awnings. We utilized the camp ground picnic table and internet to eat dinners and watch movies around the campfire. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Brett had great communication throughout the trip and the last day as we came home. I let him know we were heading back and he let us know when he would be coming over to provide pick up. We got home, he came to pick up the RV, and he was on his way back to LA. About a week later I received the email about the $1,500 deposit scheduled for refund on our account, and he swapped the pick up delivery/fee with the Wifi charge. I highly recommend renting with RoadShark RV. We had a great newbie glamping experience. The price of a comfortable and newer interior rental made all the difference for me and my family. Thank you again, Brett for the awesome customer service!
