Always very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Judy was our contact person and she was very communicative throughout the whole process and was always a call or text away if we had any questions. On the day of the event, Judy squeezed us in since they host games pretty much all day. We had the place ALL to ourselves! On the day of the event, the staff decorated the waiting room and even left a little present bag for my son which I thought was a great touch. Nick was so helpful and allowed us to focus on setting up. When the event started, everyone, and that includes adults, had a great time. We played so many pick up games that the next day we were all sore. It was such a huge hit that I already had a good number of kids and parents ask about details for future bookings. I can't thank Nick and Judy enough for all they did to make my son's birthday the best.

The price of the classes was reasonable & the instructor was great! Recently, I brought my 7 month old son for a group swim class (parent and child). The cost, again, reasonable ($45 for the week with 5 half hour classes included). The instructor was amazing! Happy and interactive. We did songs and free one playing with toys as well as skills such as getting in and out of the pool ("jumping in" and holding the side of pool and gettin out). The facilities themselves are amazing--Olympic sized pool, hot tub, small pool for kids where you can wade in to get them acclimated, etc. I dock a star because I still am upset about he cost of parking here. It's too much! $3 if you pay at machine and if you pay on app $3.35. Sure, you can buy a permit or drive around aimlessly trying to find a street spot, but it's kinda crazy (especially during college session!) But overall, the place is great and I will be back!

No street parking in all neighborhood on weekdays, permit required unless you go on weekends (no permit required on Saturdays and Sundays). I like that they have a tiny little spin drier for swimsuits in locker room, also SiriusXM music playing in all facility and vending machines available at the pool... I'd easily put 5 stars if they offer free parking for their visitors. The pay parking is actually going to limit my visits to them to weekends.

I'm now barmedfrom the Kroc Center through Christmas. I've told them this is my community. This is where I get company and the people that matter to me go there. The Kroc Center staff is not supportive of disabled people. I have had a reasonable accommodation to swim in the Kroc Center recreation pool for years. The lady that helped me get my reasonable accommodation in the first place decided she didn't like me swimming in the pool with the children even tho I've been doing this successfully for years. So the therapy pool, which was also open is 10° hotter, and I had briefly entered that pool but it was making me ill because it was 85° out, so I went into the recreation pool, which is where I normally swim successfully and without any problems up till now. 3 Kroc Center staff membersHarassed and bullied me wandering around the edge of the pool telling me that I had to get out of the pool because the other pool was open. I told all three of staff it was making me ill to be in the that was hotter pool . Two of the staff member said it doesn't matter and One said I don't care. That was their answer to when I explained to them that I've been swimming in this pool for years. The lady that's in charge of the aquatics program said I don't have to accommodate you in this pool because the other pool is open. I told her and the other two staff members three times each that no I was not gonna be bullied out of the pool that I have reasonable accommodation and and would not move into a pool where it was not in my best interest, and it was making me ill. This sadly is the Christian love of Jesus at the Kroc Center. Don't go there if you have any individual needs or you need a reasonable accommodation., or you wanna be listened to or treated fairly. If you have plenty of money, no problems if you can afford to pay for lessons and so On. I'm in San Diego I go to the San Diego, Kroc Center. Couldn't figure out how to change from San Francisco to San Diego.

Read below My girls have been playing with summit for a couple seasons now & this season has been horrible. After we already signed up and paid & had a couple of practices. We were notified that summit dropped the ball & didn't do their contracts in time for us to keep playing at the facility we were at. This was upsetting because we agreed to play with Summit because it was closer to where we live now we were going to have to drive further. But, we agreed to the move, thinking things could not get worse. Then we've been playing at the new facility only to find out that Summit dropped the ball once again & we will have to move to yet another facility. Only for us to be notified that at the new facility, the teams are going to have to share a court. Now we are being told to go to yet another facility, but the new place is just a public park that is outside. The park closes at 5 but practice is from 5:30 to 7:30. And no one can tell me how will we get into this park being that it closes before we start practice & if lights will be on for these young girls. Luckily we were only at the outside facility for a little while and we're able to go back to the second facility. But the practice was now 630 to 830 even though it's during the week and all of these kids have school. The season is a mess because Mary the director doesn't even live in San Diego. She is in Florida and is struggling to keep up to date on what's happening with the teams here in SD. Mary has been completely irresponsible through all of this. I'm paying over $3,000. And I'm still not exactly sure what I'm paying for. We have three coaches two of them are teenagers and one of them is an adult. And surprisingly enough the adult is the more immature out of the group. She is constantly calling the kids by other names, not their names when the kids correct her on it. She tells them to "get over it. I don't remember my own nieces and nephews names. Why would I remember your names?" When the kids mess up on drills or the coaches feel like they are not listening to them they will make these girls go one at a time sit outside in the dark, at a location that is closed and has no security on campus. The age range of these girls are between 10 and 12. But of course, as soon as the parent calls them out on that, they will backtrack and even say that the kids misunderstood. I have emailed Mary multiple times she will not respond to any of my emails. I asked for at least some money back for all the inconveniences, she didn't even have the guts to email me back and say no just hasn't responded. It's been over two weeks. In all of this I'm so sad for my daughters, they LOVE volleyball but they said this whole season has made them not like it. Mary if you see this, you're not fit to run anything

People don't realize the time that goes into a completely VOLUNTEER program where no one is paid, no coaches, no referees, not the commissioner. Fees go to field maintenance, field paint, goals, field repair (most are on school grounds and get beat by the schools and AYSO pays for it), uniforms for kids (yes unfortunately sometimes a kid gets a small/large size), bathrooms, AYSO insurance. Yes sometimes AYSO relies on parents to step up and coach a team. AYSO provides all the training and other AYSO parents/board members are willing to help out any time. They say it takes a village to raise your kids, well, you are sometimes part of the village. There is no other experience like AYSO. If you read the mission statement, Everyone Plays means that your kid is guaranteed to play at least 1/2 of a game. (You go to other leagues/clubs and your kid may sit the whole game). It also means that we allow any kid from 4-18 to play. The only catch is to maintain rosters/insurance there is a registration deadline. My son has played 7 years here and he has NEVER had a friend drop off a team. He even had a buddy, break his leg (outside of soccer), and this kid was back playing before the season was over. I highly recommend AYSO if you are looking for a recreational league that welcomes everyone (even people with disabilities) where it is completely volunteer ran. AYSO is affordable (even more if you do early registration) and far cheaper than any other clubs.

I signed up and paid and then he decided he didnt' want to do it. I asked for a refund. I am a single mom with six adopted special need children with one income. They gave me a run around about once you sign up they can refund the money it has to go to the national office. First off, why? he is not playing, why does it have to go to a national office if he is not playing? I can see if he went to practices or the season started or whatever but it hasn't so they refunded 5 of the 25 saying it has to go to corportate. Not only that, when I asked for the refund the secretary told the president "she is not happy as you can see from her email" like I would be happy to pay 20 to the the league that I don't live in the area and I am not playing for. Why are they so happy to rip me off? I have done or played for them at all so this Erica and Ian can enjoy the 20 dollars they scammed off of a single mom with 6 kids and hopefully they live a wonderful carefree life. I can't believe people are this inconsiderate and rude and talks crap to her boss and signes her emails to me as "warmly, erica". So AYSO, can kiss my ass, Special Olympics is 100 times better and they respect our children, our money and our time. Sorry I even considered them.
