Turns out we needed to get some more pickups for voiceovers for a TV series, and I was like "I am not going back there." So I called Stage One. First I talked to Mike who led me to Rob... and let me tell you it was a NIGHT AND DAY difference. Rob was EXTREMELY professional. He engineered the whole time and was great with the actors. He was kind and helpful, meticulous without being annoying. Honestly, I could've cried at how well everything went compared to the other place. The videos look amazing, and my wife and I have been watching them nonstop for the past few days. You can provide your own HDD or SSD for the file transfers, or he can provide them for you. I tossed all the videos into a Plex server and stream them to my 75 inch 4K TV and they all look fantastic. Audio completely flawless and in sync too. Many of them were upscaled to 1080p and both picture and audio are great. If you're into audio/video stuff you'll have some great conversations with him. If not, don't sweat it and he'll take care of everything... you don't have to worry about a thing. Mike is super nice dude, does a great job, and his pricing is fair too. I will absolutely go back if I can dig up more old tapes that need digitizing. I originally reached out via YELP and he responded within 24 hours with upfront pricing, and exactly what I needed to bring if I wanted a USB conversion. He told me he would have the job done within a week, and he delivered in less than a week. I suggest you either call or message them with what you need, and they will tell you upfront if they can or cannot do it and how much it would cost etc.

So I go in with my band for day 1 of recording and Keelan says we have to change our band name because it was too dark. he does not promote Satanism he says. Our and name is "Satan's True Spawn", a black metal band, and he was forcing us to change it to something "Socially Friendly". First off WTF. you knew out band name when you booked us. why moan now?? we told him the name stays. and he has the gull to raise his voice at us and tells us to change it or leave his studio. of course we left the studio this guy is insane.
