After a few sessions I started to notice the tanning bed was super dirty. They have towels in each rooms and spray bottles, but I was never told what those were for when purchasing my sessions for the first time. I asked the front staff what was the cleaning policy and the purpose for the towels. (I wasn't sure if I had to clean the bed myself after each use) She claimed to clean the beds after her shift but other staff didn't. (Yuck) I decided to switch to the stand up booth instead of the bed and I haven't had any issues since then. The staff is friendly. They also have spray tans which I haven't used.

However i really feel Apotheca needs to know about my experience. I walked out with the second worst hair cut of my life. I asked for a shag hair cut, with curtain bangs. I ended up with some sort of bob like cut. My bangs were utterly destroyed. The stylist took a weird blunt chunk out of the center, and didn't blend them. I have a weird mix of long and short chunks for bangs now. To their credit a senior stylist 'fixed' my bangs-its better than what the original stylist did, but it's still a step below good. I realize I was given to a junior stylist, and it's a learning process, but I think she really needs a senior stylist to take her under their wing and mentor her. I certainly will not be going back.

Anne was very professional and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was able to schedule an appointment. She came to my apartment and set up her equipment (a pop up tent, fan, airbrush machine). The tan only took maybe 30 minutes tops to complete (2 coats). Anne was so friendly and sweet and made me feel very comfortable (despite the fact I was almost naked in front of her, lol). She sprayed my whole body including my face, and the morning after, she texted me directions after of how to rinse off and shower with the tan. I am so happy with the results!! After showering off the next morning, my tan is a perfect, natural-looking shade. Overall this was the best spray tan I have ever had in terms of convenience, color, and professionalism. The back was to be tapered inward. It's not. She left long layers in back and clumps from another bad cut I'd had elsewhere. Plus the side was not to be cut in a step. It looks like a bad Joe Dirt gone wrong. Pic had sides at an angle. One side has section of no layers and the other side has layers. Just awful. The conversation was strained and she was extremely argumentative. One of the worst places.

I am middle eastern so my eyebrows grow thick and wild - but Evelyn has mastered them. I drive 1 hour each way just to get my eyebrows done by Evelyn and it's worth every minute and every penny.
