I had a stuck-up, CHP officer on a motorcycle write me a ticket for crossing double yellows. He had the gall to make fun of me to his buddy while writing the ticket. Well, you can go to court, pay processing fees, pay for a lawyer, take time off work... It adds up. Okay, so let's say you opt to pay the bail and take the strike. Alright, but you can go to traffic school and get the point off your record - that's another fifty dollars added to the bail, plus the cost of the class (20 bucks), not to mention the time and energy reading.... TRAFFIC LAW. Not just like, DMV style traffic "safe practices" - you'll be grueling through pages of legal CODES. So, you're basically stuck between a rock and a hard place having to spend precious time and money no matter what. For that amount of money, you can buy food, pay rent, have insurance, or keep a heater running for a month. A slap on the wrist suddenly turns into a life-altering debt. I couldn't accept that. So, I was fed up when I got this ticket - I'm fresh out of college, trying to start a family. I don't have the time, energy, or money to invest in any of the options I mentioned. But, I was also tired of being stepped on by these A-Type personality super-cops. Why does this guy get to make money every day by inflicting serious financial burden onto undeserving folk? They are pretty good at apologizing for the thing which f***ed your driving record up already and they didn't even go to the court instead of that sending a piece of paper "to defend you". You know why because COURT IS FAR FROM THEM. If they had told me that they just send written declaration to the court instead of going there, I woudn't have never hired them. I had a speeding ticket (no camera, no video recorded....no proof basically). When I asked to pull over, officer came and asked me what was my speed and I said around 80mph. He said " No. it is close to 90mph. He didnt say over 90mph". But this bastard wrote ticket for 91mph.(If he had written ticket for 90mph, I would have been eligible for traffic school, he added one on purpose so I wont be eligible traffic school.) I had three friends in car and they also heard what he said before and what he did after. I had witnesses who can prove that I am not guilty for the thing officer blamed me. This was pretty simple ticket. I trusted California Traffic Tickets to handle it but they didn't (basically don't do) do their job properly. I was eligible traffic school... they didn't help me to get it.. I got 3 points on my driving record, plus paid full bail PLUS PAID ANOTHER OVER $200 for their shitty service. They were supposed to help me either not get point but pay full bail, or help to get traffic school and pay full bail and not to get point. THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING BUT APOLOGIZED WELL AND WISHED GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE AND ASKED TO ENTER THEIR PROMO CODE TO TRAFFIC SCHOOL WEBSITE IF I NEED IT. Are u serious???????? My Experience with California Traffic Tickets has been a nightmare. They lost my case. Had to pay all court fines in full. They where unable to get me traffic school. My insurance rates doubled because of the point added to my license. I had to pay California Traffic Tickets 200 dollars more then what was listed on the website because the court my ticket got sent to was "tough to win in." I thought I was getting there Platinum Package but, they switched the package I got. I was told I would get a partial refund if they lost my case. When I asked about the Refund they pointed to a line in the document signed that said "Trail service fees are final and there are no refunds ." I thought this line was referring to the court fees and fines. Instead they said this was referring to the the 500 dollar fee I payed to them. In short, I have never felt so stupid in my life. I trusted California Traffic and they let me down in every way. I have no proof they offered me a partial refund because the offer was over the phone and they have my signature on document stating other wise even though I did not fulling understand the meaning of the document. So now its my word versus theirs so I will never see a single cent of what I payed them. For 500 dollars I got stress, increased insurance fees and trust issues. In conclusion, if you decided to go with California Traffic Tickets make sure you fully understand the agreement and get all promises in writing. I don't know about everybody else but here was my situation: I was caught up in a "Flashing Lights" School Bus scam put on in my opinion by the city of La Mirada. I was going 45 miles an hour which was the speed limit and at the last second when I am on the buses rear end the driver pulled the sign out. If I could have stopped I would have slammed on my brakes to a skid and went past the sign; furthermore, I didn't have time to see in my rear view mirror who would have rear ended me. I chose to coast through the problem, no brake, no accelerator. A cop was on my tail lights flashing within 25 yards of the "incident." The cost of the ticket, $695.00 plus a three point ding on by driving record, plus the increase in my insurance premiums, plus the cost of a traffic school, which I was told I might not qualify for because of the violation. This firm showed me exactly what to do and yeah it cost $149.00 plus the $150.00 which was the best money I have ever spent. I was told by virtually everyone that I would not only lose the case, but would have to worry about it happening again, and that second ticket is $1900.00. I won. The point? Weigh your situation, there's more than just the cost of the ticket. Your license is in jeopardy from being suspended at 6 points and that's two of these tickets. When I had a speed ticket in the City of Downey by the police officer, riding on a highway motorcycle, he showed me the speed gun at 55 mph, telling me that I violated the speed limit at 40 mph zone. The Court was as uncooperative and the Judge was furious just seeing what I was citied for and this was before trail. I strongly recommend. I had a great experience. I received a ticket for a 'quick light,' and wanted to challenge. I also wanted the ability to challenge a 'paper' challenge, ie, the opportunity to appeal - CA Tickets offers this opportunity, at an extra cost (which I found to be reasonable and at my election - and payable only if we won the case). The 'standard' interface was provided: the ability to fill out documents, and interface with someone life about what they offer. Filling out and filing documents was also easy. When the initial came back, they were additionally helpful in challenging. Their attention to detail was especially noted during this time period of Covid. The LA Metro Court kept changing my court date. The picture the county court sent me plainly showed me in my car sitting at the red light for over a minute before I made my right turn. I decided to fight it since the fine was almost $500.00, it would affect my insurance, and I wasn't guilty of "running" a red light. I was cited for speeding and for not having my motorcycle endorsement.
